Is it possible to have a watermark on all images?
The theme does not include this out of the box, but there’s a ton of plugins to provide this functionality: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=watermark. You could check some of them out to see if that’s what you’re looking for
Hope this helps!
I do NOT recommend this theme. They advertise “unlimited color options” but do not clarify that it’s basically just for buttons- not header/footer as implied.
Also their support forum is a ghost town at best. Whenever I have an issue it takes 2 weeks+ to hear back.
hey – on the blog view, the “next page” numbers are not showing up at the bottom. i believe it might be called “nicepagination”? any ideas?
i’ve created an account on the Red Factory site, and entered my purchase id, but cant for the life of me figure out how to open a support ticket or ask a question on that site…
The nicepagination is only showing up when the amount of blog posts exceeds the maximum number of ‘posts per page’ set on the blog view under “additional settings”. Then the pagination will automaticly be enabled. Until then it’s hidden since it isn’t needed
Regarding the support forum: Once you’re logged in you can create tickets here: http://www.redfactory.nl/themes/forum/category/4/swerve-clean-portfolio-wordpress-theme
yes, i’ve got the max # set at 3 and have 7 posts – i’ll use the link provided to open a ticket. thank you
Hi I have purchased the theme and was wondering how to insert widgets like map, gallery, etc on other pages than just the main page.
thanks for your help
We’ve set up a dedicated support forum to handle any support questions you may have: http://www.redfactory.nl/themes/support. We’d be more then happy to help you there
ok I did login but cant find the way how to post my question on the forum… sorry I am new to this and pretty lost. please help
Don’t worry Once you’re logged in you can post your questions here: http://www.redfactory.nl/themes/forum/category/4/swerve-clean-portfolio-wordpress-theme
The reason we use this is because our support forum is searchable and therefore more helpful to future buyers
I am contemplating purchasing this theme, my main concern is if the Blog roll can be open format, essentially showing all the blogs opened on a single page. (without having to click “read more”)
Yes that’s possible. A couple of our buyers have actually done that It’s not a feature that’s available from the theme settings, but requires a small modification in the code. But don’t worry, I’ll tell you what to change
If you have any more questions, let me know!
Would I have the ability to have the slider on the Blog page too?
Yes you can However this will also need a little adjustment in the code. It’s very easy to do and I’ll guide you through it.
I’d like to see the mobile/responsive version of this before buying. Can someone (perhaps the author) post a working demo that works on an iphone/ipad? Thanks in advance…
This theme is not responsive I’m afraid. I’ve build in touch support for mobile devices in the latest update, since it wasn’t working for the navigation menu.
Our lates theme, The Beauty Salon, is build for the same target audience and is fully responsive: http://themeforest.net/item/the-beauty-salon/2676012 Maybe you’ll like it as well
I’m really interested in purchasing your theme but I have a quick question.
I need to have the blog page be full width at 890 pixels wide. Is this easily done?
Well if you have some experience with css then it can be done quite easily. I’d advice to limit the content area and not the sidebar since that takes the least amount of time
Really nice theme, I would like to use it for my own beauty salon, but I need to ask you, if the themes font support NON -ENGLISH symbols. I bought several themes here where did NOT work symbols such as ?, š, ?, ?, ž, ý and so on. May you please test it/tell me if those symbols are working in your headings?
Thanks a lot!! Looking forward to purchase this theme!!
Glad you like it! I just left you a comment on our “The Beauty Salon” theme as well
It all depends on which google font you use. Some might have the special characters, others won’t. So the limitation is not on our end The google font library is pretty large though so I doubt you’ll run into any troubles there
Hey—great theme! I have it made some modifications to it to suit my clients needs but suddenly the custom twitter widget is not working. I also notice it is not working in your theme preview. You can view the site at http://www.madisonaveloan.com
Is there an update for this or can you tell me how to address this ASAP ? My clients are breathing down my neck and I do not have a fix.
Glad you like the theme! I’m viewing your website right now but the twitter widget seems to be working just fine. Let me know if it starts to act up again.
Hi I want to purchase this theme, but I was wondering can I change the location of the navigation bar (under the logo) and also the color of the navigation bar? Thanks in advance.
Looks like there is no support here, how do remove the silly TAGLINE stuff in header.php? You have all this PHP and JS that calls the taglines that is set in Swerve settings. This is not SEO friendly. It should be a H1 tag.
Checking google the tagline is not even picked up as “description” data.
I dont want to break the theme by trying to remove all your php code.

Do you have the direct links of the images used in the demo? I know its shutterstock but i cant find them, thanks in advance
Here are the links to all the photos
Too bad its not translated. Kills 90% of my audience.
You can translate this theme pretty easy if you want. What parts would you like to translate?
Make it translation ready with a .po
I cannot see any of my images anymore, Can someone help me with this?
I have deactivated all of my plugins, changed my permalinks. Nothing has worked. Please help thank you
Bummer! I took the “unlimited color options” comment seriously. Now in deep regret…only colors of buttons can be changed and my client wants black background with it. I attempted to contact Red Factory to get help with changing background colors…can’t find a way to get through. Extremely complicated color management makes it impossible to modify the colors of backgrounds, etc. Wish I could get help…but no where to turn.
Sorry to see you’re having such a bad experience. With unlimited colors we mean that you can pick any color you want. You can easily change the background color with simple css changes. I’m not sure what you mean with extremely complicated color option management. You mentioned that you tried to contact us several times but this is the first comment I see from you. If you had placed a comment here sooner, or on our support forum, I’d have gladly helped you then.
I actually tried the RedFactory customer service area but it said it is being reworked and only supports 2 themes right now…not including Swerve. Sorry for the confusion on that comment.
Regarding the CSS, I’ve used a ton of CSS docs in my experience…in the case of the Swerve theme, it is not as easy as changing background color from #ffffff to #000000 to go from white to black. (I know that the whitish-grey is actually some other hex code.) If you want to shoot me the CSS snippets from your CSS insights that make this so easy to change, I’d love to try your advice. But it seems far from simple considering the way that the CSS is coded. Thank you.
Hi – How can make the Blog link on the nav show posts only from a certain selected categories ? – what code needs to be changed ? please help. thanks
