Before buying, i am planing to use this theme as a photography showcase so each picture will have a story. Ii need to know if the portfolio items are posts so when visitors click on view project they are redirected to the post of this featured image. -Did you implement a custom css in case i need to make some changes without alerting the theme in case of updates. Thats all,

Yes portfolio post are real post .. when you create them, you have the choice of where the “View Project” will lead .. and if it is activated by pretty photo .. so if check the “View project lead to article” it will lead to the article

I’ve been working on the theme for a few hours and i am extremely satisfied W/ “Synergie”. I usually like to use the “Wordpress html editor” to write my posts and this theme is the first one i came across who let you insert the shortcodes on “html editor”, designs and customization are super-flexible and sharp. A well deserve 5 stars dream theme, Thank you DD you saved me a looot of work…

I just bought this theme, uploaded the sample content and attempted to follow the vague documentation however nothing seems to work as it should. I would have expected the sample content to appear as it does in the demo? My home page is completely blank aside from the logo and menu with a “Error 404 Sorry but there is no content available here” error. I have turned all the home options to on.There appears to be a heap of custom fields available but no descriptions as to what they are.
Where am I going wrong?

Since all the images are from timthumb, it can’t be included in the dummy file, im sorry.
The theme is really really easy, you have 5 module on the homepage, that you can turn on/off in the theme options in the “home” tabs, and you can sort them in the “module order” tabs ..
Slider module take post from “Slider Posts”, Blog from “Post”, Portfolio from “Portfolio post” etc etc .. it can’t be eaiser .. Just create some post from each of them and upload image using the upload button when you create post .. its really easy.

I made a new installation of wp in a new directory thinking perhaps previous themes/changes etc were making an impact. It is working slightly better now however still most of the frontpage content isn’t showing up. I’ve got all the home page modules set to on and have content in every section, however you can see what is happening here – http://paperfoxstudio.com/new/ – only the slider is showing up and then a bunch of empty slider boxes.
With the portfolio, there are categories, but can I make a different portfolio page for each category, and then show multiple images within each portfolio post?

Go to the “module order” tab and set the order for every module, right now it should all be “slider”
Ahh silly me, works fine now. I think the problem initially was my old wordpress install having been filled up with other themes etc that conflicted with this one. It’s looking great now!
Is it possible to have multiple folio pages for different categories?

Well yes, just take the category URL and create a menu item with this link in a custom menu.

I think I’m going to have to customise the folio pages manually to work how I want them as it doesn’t seem to support different galleries within a category. ie a thumbnail that opens a gallery in the lightbox but doesn’t display every thumbnail of that gallery on the page itself. It’s all good though, I’ll work it out
Can i change the Nivo slider to have a fixed transition rather than random?

Great looking theme! I’m very interested in purchasing this theme and I have some questions:
1- Can I include a feature video in the front page and list videos from posts on the Tab instead of images from posts?
2- Can I edit the whole look and feel with a style editor if available?
3- is Google charts and maps included in the shortcode list? 4- does the theme include shortcode for tables to design membership pricing?
5- Can I do font replacement with @font-face instead of cufon?
6- How many slider types? Accordion?
7- Can the theme allows to design a different look and feel for another section of the site like “Services”?

1. No, you have to create 1 portfolio post and in the actual post you insert your other photos.
2. Yes, go to includes\functions\module_order\slider\nivo_slider on the line 27 take this off :Hope it help!

Ive already added the image in the css but have been unable to locate the code to remove the DDpanel added background color. Its being placed over my css background image. Can you help me out?
Can you assign different sidebars to different pages? Is there a limit to the number of sidebars you can create?
Nope but there is some plugins that you can use for this wich make the task really easy.

how you do the slideshow on the portfolios… I mean, as your example page when we click view the project, we see the slideshow…
which gallery plugin you use??? and where in the portfolio post i have to put this info???

You have to check “Prety photo” when you create the portfolio post.
