I think this is an outstanding template but I don’t understand the heavy use of Ajax. This isn’t a dynamic template template so why do you need Ajax for most of the pages?? Doesn’t this just slow down the template? (I’ll probably still buy the template because I do like it a lot, but I am concerned) Thanks! Paul

I use Ajax so you won’t have to see menu, or beginning animation every time you go on another page. And actually using Ajax is much faster than refreshing the page.

I was wondering if i could add the Our Project menu in the Portfolio page in order to filter the work by category.

one more question : the online sample doesnt seems to work on galaxy S and galaxy S II phones … the dropdown menu is not working at all … not reactive …

Works on Samsung Galaxy S I and II with standard ROM ’s If you are using custom ROM ’s and not official ones than some of them are missing lots of features.
No software is perfect, results neither the template is perfect. But the most important thing is that i am trying to improve it and make updates.

I bought this one and i do like it except there are some big problems with the mobile version on my iPhone (iOS 6.0.1, iPhone 5):
1) the pricing table does only show 2 columns and cannot even be scrolled horizontal
2) the image galleries are only partly visible 
3) you cannot scroll down to the text in “Full Width Text + Video”
4) cannot scroll down in “Full Width Text + Image”
5) contact form & google maps broken on mobile devices
6) guess I could find even more problems 
I want you to fix this please a.s.a.p. or I will reclaim this item to envato.

On the item description page. On update version 1.3.0 there is the following:
Added: Custom Scrolling(beta version, it will be improved on future updates) on touch devices( tested on old Android 2.3 version, also on iPhone iOS4)
This being said, before buying the template you had the opportunity to test it and make a decision if you are buying it or not.
If you use threats like you did, then please do reclaim the item to envato.
I will not tolerate aggressive attitudes at all. Even google or apple have issues with their products but i don’t think you tell them ASAP .

I tested the theme on Mac and on my iPhone but since I bought version 1.2.X there were no scrolling issues and for the other problems: I simply trusted that a responsive template would be tested and working correctly.
What you are calling “aggressive attitudes” may be because I am a little disapointed I cannot use a otherwise great theme because of stupid mobile problems :-/
Concerning ASAP : this wasn’t meant to be aggressive – I thought you would not know about the issues and would want to get rid of them asap as well…
Since English is not my first language, I am sorry if my comment seemed aggressive or impolite – it’s just not so easy to express exactly what you mean in another language
So I ask friendly: are you aware of the problems mentioned (beside scrolling) and going to fix them somewhen near future?

Now back to business, YES i am aware that the change i made in 1.3.0 added some issues. ( i can give you 1.2.0, but that version will not work on old Android like 2.3 version, and also has issues on iOS4, 5 and 6 ).
My intentions are to improve the template as time goes. This means fixing issues or adding new features.
This being said next update is next week, and will include some of the things you mentioned ( i hope i can cover all, but i will not promise ).
I can promise you one thing: that with a kind attitude i will try to respond promptly to feedback and also will try to improve the template

I think I will use this template (because I really like it) and just ignore the mobile version until then. Or maybe I can find a temporary fix
One more question concerning the updates: how do I update my site once it runs personalized on an earlier version?

First and the most important is you have to create a backup of your current running version.( including the modifications you did )
After that you follow the update PDF file that is provided with the new version and follow the instructions. If you didn’t modified the JS( except the basic theme color, url setting ) than you just to follow the indications on how to add the new features.

The responsiveness however is vital for my next project and as christiancraik has pointed out, there are some known issues at the moment. Alright, thanks for the fast response. HTML /CSS issues i can sort out for myself, that’s not a problem. I just need to make sure the mobile version will be ok on iPad/iPhone. I have to start designing some mockups later this week so i need to know which theme i’m going for
. If you could let me know which updates you’ll do and when they will be out, that would be great.

So the update will cover: image galleries part that is not visible, fullwidth both image/video scrolling, an issue with sound on mobile( i will not support sound on mobile ), some home 2 CSS related alignments, don’t know for sure if contact scrolling would be fixable so quick ( this is due to the fact that there are multiple touches involved, using map and scrolling, and honestly the map gets over the scrolling even in normal conditions or normal HTML templates, and i have to come up with a solution therefore this may take some time and also testing)
The things presented above will be covered in the update for next week.

Hi, Thank you for such an Amazing Template, but I am getting some problem installing this template
1. If i change var customPageStartURL = ”#portfolio.html”; to some other page its not working
2. If I say var customPageStart = false; Then also its giving me problems, It should load Index.html but not loading
3. Its Only loads portfolio.html properly
-after opening it in begining it can loads other pages normally4. If I dont want to use # in my Url due to some SEO issues how to do that.

Please read the documentation. Open the documentation PDF file and read from page 11 and 12 ( Setting up a custom start page ) if you are modifying the JS.
If you are using customPageStart = false then you have to modify the menu HTML tags. Read page 13 for that.
You can’t remove the ’#’ this is an AJAX template there other ways for improving the SEO .
