The circular ring that appears around the info and search buttons offsets a few pixels after the short CSS animation.

Hi there,

thank you for your feedback!

This was a bug with one of the latest versions of Google Chrome, and not with the theme. If you update your chrome, you should see the animation working fine again, just like in every other popular browser.

Hi there,

thank you for taking an interest in the Tao theme!

I am afraid I do not fully understand your question, so I would appreciate it if you could elaborate it a bit more. Thanks!

hi .. I mean if I make a post as a portfolio item , can I post it directly as a regular post in the pages ?? so once I put any portfolio item it goes in portfolio page and a another specific page as a post.. I hope it is clear :)

onioneye

Hi there,

the portfolio post goes only on the portfolio page, and the portfolio page can be on the homepage, or any other page within your WordPress installation.

Hope this clarifies things.

Hi there,

this would have to be achieved through code customization, and as such, it is a task best suited for a freelancer/developer.

Hello! My client is interested in this for a video portfolio site. We also like Tao and Equilibrium, so this question applies to them as well.

We have a mix of videos, some are on YouTube, but some will be self-hosted. Can your portfolio template natively support self-hosted video along with YouTube, Vimeo, etc.?

Many thanks!

onioneye

Hi there,

thank you for your comment!

Out of all of my themes, the best support for self-hosted videos is found in Omm, Peak, and Tao, while Equilibrium is not the best choice when it comes to hosting this type of content.

Have fun with my work, if you end up choosing one of the themes for your client’s project! :)

Thanks for the response. We like Tao a lot, but the fact that the main navigation is hidden by default is a problem Would it be relatively easy for me to customize it to add navigation links across the top? Is there a widget area or something like that that I can access up there? (Maybe where the search and “i” icons are?)

onioneye

Hi there,

you are very much welcome!

The widget area is found in the sidebars, but not in the header, I’m afraid.

It’s hard to tell how hard it is to customize the site to your liking because it all depends on the level of development knowledge one has. However, I can certainly say that this shouldn’t be a tough task for a skillful developer.

Hope this helps!

well, i notice you build some many awesome portfolio theme, but none is with localization supports, sad!!

onioneye

Hi there,

localizing the theme to a particular language is fully supported. Having multi-language support though is a different thing, but even if there is no explicit support for it, many of my clients have been reporting that my themes (especially the latest ones), have been working fine with multi-language plugins such as qTranslate and WPML. No guarantees of course, but with a little customization work, everything should be running perfectly.

Hi There,

I want to make the mobile menu item (burger image) position:fixed but nothing is working. I’ve tried everything I could think of :(

I need it not to scroll on mobile. How can I get this to work as I’m doing this for a client.
