Hi, your theme looks great! So close to what I need. If you were able to add another gallery option of a masonry portfolio grid (along the lines of the Fullscene and many many other themes) it’d be perfect, maybe something to maybe consider for future update.

There are no plans to add such a feature currently, but if it becomes highly requested this is something I will consider adding. Generally you’re better off hiring a developer to integrate your own specific requests though.

There is an update in the works to bring Tarnished up to date with my newer themes in terms of features. I cannot give you an ETA on this though. There are no plans to make Tarnished responsive currently.
I created a page and saved it as a draft before I entered the title. Now the numbered links at the bottom of the home page to view more posts link to /page/ which shows a 404 error. How do I fix this. The site is http://www.halfbakedanddense.com if you need to see for yourself.

hello! I’d like to use google analytics to measure traffic on each of my site pages. Will adding the tracking code under ‘theme options’ do that or do you recommend some other plugin/work around if not?

I got hacked through this theme and a bunch of spam sent out. Better check out whats buggy in it letting that happen. I have no idea I just know my host took me offline claiming 50k spam emails were sent somehow through this theme.

It’s quite possible this hacking attempt has nothing to do with the theme, it could instead be your WordPress installation or any of the plugins/scripts you have installed on your server.
Additionally, if you are using an older version of Tarnished which came with TimThumb, this had a number of vulnerabilities and was therefore removed from the theme and replaced with a secure image resizer. Make sure you are using the latest version of the theme, which is v2.1.2.
We’re running Tarnished, too; latest version, 2.1.2, and we’ve had a hacking incident that I believe might be tied to the theme. Happened a couple days ago, and we’ve been trying to track down the source of the problem since.
Edit: Going to do a bit more tracking through the theme tonight and I’ll post what I can on your own support forums, I guess.

Yes please post a support ticket at http://ghostpool.ticksy.com with your findings. Please note older versions of the theme used TimThumb which did have vulnerabilities. Make sure you have deleted these from your server.
Has anyone else slider stopped working after upgrading to WP 3.51? Tried doing a re-install of the theme and that still didn’t help, you can see it here http://www.thegoodguyslv.com/

This has been fixed in the latest version of the theme. To update the theme refer to the help file that comes packaged with the theme.
Alternatively, specify a slider category in the slider shortcode.
This might be a dumb question, but it is possible to edit the CSS to change the colors of the menu font, main body background(s), etc? Thanks!

You can change the CSS of any theme you use.
