Ok I reinstalled the en version and it seems fine now, and it doesn’t give me any error message.
but how to use this component…? I can’t see it within any menu
We’ll look into that issue. Don’t you see a link to the component after the installation? It should be in the components dropdown with the other components. What happens when you install other components?
No i can’t see any link in the dropdown after the installation.
I’ve install all the other extentions in the assets folder without any problem (but hope none of them suppos to appear in the components dropdown)
Any ideas for my component problem??

If the other components didn’t install right either it’s possible your Joomla installation had a problem. A Google search returned this: https://www.akeebabackup.com/support/forum/topic/27119-error--error-building-admin-menus.html
The opening hours were published using an html module. Simply edit that module to put the information for your restaurant.

the template has worked quite well for me so far (thought I have customized pretty much). thanks!
but one thing botters me a little bit: if you use the Demente Menu component to manage food items and categories you have to dublicate all the categories in the navigation menu “Carte”. for a mulit-lingual site it’s a paint in the ass. and if you want to use a dropdown in the top navigation you even have to copy them to the Main Menu. To avoid latter I tried to replace the Carte menu with the Main Menu and set “Start level” to 2 to only display the child menu items. But this doesn’t work with the template specific cols-2 feature (error: division by zero).
do you have an idea how the food categoried could be managed in one place? (preferably in the Demente Menu component). drop down in top navigation is less important…

Good to know it is working good for you
The duplicate menus for a multi language site are tedious but we’re not aware of a method to overcome that.
Your approach to display the same menu items in two menus is good. We’ll fix the division error and submit an update. As an alternative you can use aliases in the carte menu.
Can you explain further what you mean with your last question? The food is managed through the component so I’m not sure what you mean.
following scenario: the restaurant owner creates a new categorie using the Demente Menu component. but the new categorie will not be displayed in the Carte menu, right? he has to create the same entry in the Carte menu and link it to the food categorie..

To change the font of headings and navigation simply choose the font you’d like in the template options. The one in the demo is called Dancing Script.

If you look at the source code there is an error message about Strict Standards outside of the html tag, which is causing the gap. This is a server configuration issue. You can disable this message by changing a file called php.ini. Look for error_reporting and change it from E_STRICT to E_ALL. You can also look in the Joomla forums for these kind of error messages. Having trouble with google maps. What is the format we should enter the links?

Thanks for purchasing. Admittedly this has become tricky. You need to go to maps.google.com, enter your address and customize your map. Then click on the share icon and copy the code for the iframe. From that code you only need the url in the src attribute so cut that. And the last step is to replace all & with &.
Alternatively you can use an extension. We’d recommend you JGmap: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/maps-a-weather/maps-a-locations/maps/10543
ok ill try that and report back here with issues. I also was wondering how exactly i can add a section to each page. For example, I want to add a map to the home page between the right slideshow and the business hours.

To add the map you simply have to publish a new module. If you want it to the right use the position “right”. On the bottom left you can choose on which pages it should be shown. The ordering can be changed after you save it. Hope this helps.

In that case you can just copy the iframe code google gives you. If Joomla doesn’t clean the code up it should work just fine. Can you send us a screenshot of the way it looks for you?
Doesn’t seem to work. Just shows a link to a larger map. The space is empty. I even tried making it really small incase the frame was too big. Still not showing.
Hi, Yes, then Joomla is removing the iframe element and all you get is the link at the end. This can’t be turned off in the editor parameters so I think the best solution is to use the wrapper module for the map and a custom HTML one for the text. I assume that is what you want, right?
I still can’t get the google maps to work. How can i insert the plugin anywhere on the site? (I want it in the footer or on the homepage).
Also, I’m trying to edit the lunch pages. How can i change the content. I couldn’t find it under categories. Also, how can i add more “blocks” under content.
Ok, i figured out where to find the demente menu to edit the lunch page.
Now I’m trying to paste a long menu in the demente menu category and remove all items. (I don’t want the item design)
The problem is, it automatically deletes the end of my long menu (probably because it’s too long). How can i paste the rest of my menu.

Okay I’ll try to address all questions. Map: You want to use a module for this. Either the default wrapper module or the extension we linked (JGmap). Then you can choose where to put it and in which pages to use it.
Menu: What do you mean by blocks under content? Where are your items being deleted? In the backend or in the frontend? You should be able to use it like any other content component. The amount of items should not be a problem. Can you send us a screenshot or give us access to the admin panel?

I’ve only a little problem. Included font in the header can’t show “ö” and “ü” letters with long apostrophe (themeforest.net discuss form can’t show too). Can you help me, how will be compatible with this?

Thanks for purchasing. The font is taken from Google webfonts and the one used in the preview does support those characters. What errors are you seeing?

Please see the “Kezdök” and “Frissítök” words on the block’s headers, and you will understand.
It’s Hungarian special characters (utf-8 can show it). Maybe I’ve to use a local font. Thank you.
Now I see what you mean. Sorry, I thought you meant the normal diaeresis. In that case yes, the font must support it and I don’t know which fonts do. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.

Does this template come with full instructions on how to edit/customise each section? I am familiar with WordPress but I am new to Joomla. I also have minimal programming skills.
The documentation describes the template more than the CMS itself. The only part where it walks you through is the installation. However, you can install the quickstart, which creates a copy of the demo on your server. With that it is very easy to locate the parts you want to change.
