Hi, after updating to WordPress 4.0, the menu on my site has reverted to some old version that I can’t seem to find or change. I still have the active menu set to what I want it to be, but nothing seems to actually change on the live site. I think I’m having a similar problem as ioanamirea who commented earlier. Can you help me fix this issue? The website is: callandresponsefoundation.org

Thanks!

Just to add to this- I do know how to create and assign a custom menu. It was working fine until WP4.0. When I change to any other theme, the menu displays as it should- as I set it in the Appearance > Menus area.

We really hope you will respond; our website is the landing place for our annual funding appeal which starts very soon. We are a small non profit and depend largely on our website for communication. Many thanks. info@callandresponsefoundation.org

Hello,

Sorry for the so late reply. Support was not available last 16 days because I had a vacation in foreign country and I didn’t have the opportunity to access my PC. Sorry for any inconvenience.

If you are still having problems or need my help, please let me know.

I am hoping to help out anyone having nav issues after the update.

Find this in header.php :

<?php wp_nav_menu(array(‘echo’=>true,’container’=>’’,’menu’=>’YOUR MENU NAME HERE’,’menu_class’=>’nav-top’,’depth’=>0, ‘walker’=>new teardrop_Walker()))?>

and put the name of your menu where I put “YOUR MENU HERE”

Here is the better solution:
Find this in header.php
'menu'=>'nav-top'
and replace to
'theme_location'=>'nav-top'

This issue will be fixed in the next update.

Hello there:

PHP Strict Standards: Declaration of teardrop_Walker::start_lvl() should be compatible with Walker_Nav_Menu::start_lvl(&$output, $depth = 0, $args = Array) in /home/bellydan/public_html/wp-content/themes/teardrop/functions.php on line 258

I am using PHP 5.4. Any update about this?

Regards
