Regarding the error mentioned above. I’m running the last version of opencart. So in order to fix it I edited product.tpl near this <?php if ($review_status) { ?>

And I solved the problem. You mite want to have a look at it.

Too bad I did not get support on that. Would have saved a couple of hours.

Just a small fix: I had to change the link from “simple” to “default” in the compare file for the stars to show up on the compare page. (old code it seems).

Great theme! Nice coding job.

Thanks for pointing this out. I will upload a fix for that asap.

Any word on this. I wanted to use this template on my project… but I want to make sure it will work.

raviG

I’m still testing. I will put a note in the item description for updates.

raviG

Tested and works fine on 1.5.4.1.

Hey RaviG: I’ve just recently added different colour t shirts to my designs. Ex. I have two T shirts that have a pink version as well as a white one. Each T shirt is 25 dollars and when I select one of the colours and go to my shopping cart to pay for it – it says the one t shirt is $50 (doubling the price)? This only happens with the two multi (white/pink) shirts that I have. Do you know what might be causing this? www.lilterra.com. Thanks, Glennerd

raviG

It seems like you added the price to the options too. You shouldn’t do that. You can leave the option’s price field blank. You add the price only if a certain colour is more expensive. Ex: Normal price $25. If a pink shirt is $5 more, you add only $5 to the option and the price will be calculated at $30.

That worked, Thanks RaviG.

fixed nvm

Sorry to post again, it seems my issue is not fixed. I have installed a 2nd language to the shop and called Color in dutch “Kleur” but on the dutch product page offcourse the mini icon’s for shirt colors don’t work anymore now (since the script searches for “Color” wich is only present on the english page).

Could you by any chance help me out with it?

Thanks in advance, CC

raviG

Sure, send me a message from my profile page and I will help you with that.

Hey RaviG: I’ve been trying to add a pinit button to my product pages and I finally found some code (supposed to work with vqmod – but im not using vqmod) that allows me to put one single block of code that works for all the different products and their respective images. I placed it in last night and it was working but today it doesn’t seem to work? It just shows the text PinIt – no icon, no link. I used the following code underneath my addthis google + code This might be too much to ask you so no worries if you don’t have time to answer – I just thought you might have a quick answer. www.lilterra.com thanks, Glenn

”<file name=”catalog/view/theme/teez/template/common/footer.tpl”> <operation> <search position=”before”> </search> <add> <!- Pinterest button -> </add> </operation> </file>

<file name=”catalog/view/theme/teez/template/product/product.tpl”> <operation> <search position=”after”> addthis_widget.js </search> <add> &media=<?php echo $popup ?>&description=<?php echo urlencode($heading_title . ”\n” . substr(str_replace(”\t”, ””, strip_tags($description)), 0, 300).”...”) ?>” class=”pin-it-button” count-layout=”horizontal” >Pin It </add> </operation> </file> </modification>”

Hey RaviG: I was having issues with putting in a pinit button (per last email) but that’s not really my issue now. For whatever reason my site (when I hit refresh) is no longer intact – everything is stacked on top of each other. I think it’s just the home page. If you could help me out i’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance, Glenn – lilterra.com

raviG

The site is loading fine here.

I just did a restore and that worked so disregard the above question. I have one more question for you. How do you get rid of the url path ex. (www.mysite.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=137) so it just says ex. www.mysite.com/cooltshirt – I just don’t want all that code in the url. Let me know. Thanks, Glenn

I finally found it – it was invisible for some reason. I changed it from htaccess.txt to .htaccess and it still doesn’t work. I checked the file out and it doesn’t have much in it – maybe it’s missing some code?

This is all that is in there

 1. Use PHP5 Single php.ini as default AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5s .php

I had two htaccess files in my root folder (that were invisible in transmit). One was htaccess.txt and the other was .htaccess and they both have different code in them. I switched there names – the .htaccess to htaccess.txt etc and it works. Thanks, Glenn

Glad you’ve been able to figure it out.

I cannot make this theme work.

Am using 1.5.3.1

link: http://webpagework.com/baby/index.php?route=common/home

I followed what you had mentioned in the doc.

raviG

You are using opencart 1.5.1.3. You need install 1.5.3.1 for the theme to work properly.

Ravig,

Thanks for your HELP .

I changed the version and now it’s working good. But now another issue.

Notice: Error: Could not load language product/category! in /home/webpage1/public_html/baby/system/library/language.php on line 39

Visit: http://webpagework.com/baby/index.php?route=product/category&path=18

Why this ERROR ?

Please help.

raviG

You have most probably overwritten the language folder “product” completely. Upload the default folder again and change only the files stated in the documentation file.

My website is in Euros. Under product info page the euro symbol does not show correctly. Its like it is not formated. If the product has a promotion, old and new price show the euro symbol correctly. The euro symbol shows correctly every were else.

You can see the Euro symbol on the webpageworker’s website above http://webpagework.com/baby/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=48 Just change the currency to euro and you will see
raviG

This is a font issue. You can fix that by either decreasing or increasing the font size at line 281 in stylesheet.css. Set the font-size to 13px.

Hi. I much appreciate your reply. That did fix the issue with the EURO symbol.

Regarding the other issues I mentioned, Stock icon showing before and after the stock text, and the colorbox text, any change I can get support on those issues?

tolinho Purchased

Also in product info page, in Internet Explorer 8, the icon for available stock shows twice. Like this: ICON In Stock ICON

Other issue Your demo uses fancybox. when enlarging pictures. Opencart is using colorbox. With your template the text that loads with the picture in colorbox is unformatted and too big.

@tolinho

Here’s the addon I used to have fancybox on this theme, it works by just uploading this in vqmod without modding files: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&extension_id=5389&filter_username=salab

Thanks again to raviG for helping me out and help me fix my last issues with modifying the theme, amazing support and best buy around.

You are welcome. :)

@ColourCore Hi. Thanks for trying to help. I just feel that if in the discription of the theme it says IE8 compatible, then it should work like it says. Many of my website visits provide from this browser, so its my interest to provide a working website under that browser. Rigth now, raviG’s demo for this theme in IE 8 and some other links in these comments open complety disconfigured, including my website. For example, in raviG’s demo demo, the color options are loaded one color on each line, not one in front of each other, besides the issues mentioned above. I’m just seeking some kind of support from the person from who I purchased the theme, and mite provide some glues are fix’s. Unfortunately support and/or feedback for the issues I report does not really seem to arive.

Regarding fancybox, from what I read on open cart forum, it was abandoned for a reason, and colorbox become its replacement. But its always alternative to consider, thanks for pointing it out.

raviG

I will look at the IE8 bug and upload a fix asap.

Hi again. Another problem I have. If a product has many color options, in my case I have 23 colors available, they do not align.

The color boxes will spread out in variour lines, this is okay, but the second and from there on will align to the left, under Color* text.

It should align under the first color option in the first row.

Default-user

Hi, I much appreciate this last update. It did in fact fix the alignment problem of the color and size options if there are many to list.

It did not fix the colorbox text showing very big. – All browsers
It did not fix the in stock icon showing twice. – IE8
It did not fix the color and size options showing disconfigured (one option per line) – IE8
Example Color: Img1
Img2
Img3
Img4
etc…
Size: S
M
L
XL

In fact from what I could see, from this last update, the only change was in stylesheet.css (ul.op{float:left;width:315px;})

raviG

I changed the file product.tpl also. Did you update it?

Can you please post a link to your site?

Default-user
tolinho Purchased

Hi, Yes I did apply the change ( ) to product.tpl

I’ll send you an e-mail.

Hey RaviG,

Love your design But before I buy it I was wondering if it was tested to work with the Facebook store options? How Responsive is it on tablets and smart phones? Can you Adjust any of the Colors, Like the background, font, ect. ?

thanks for the good work.

chris

raviG

Thanks. :)

No I haven’t tested it with facebook store and the theme is not responsive. For the colors etc you will have to edit the CSS file.
