There seems to be a problem with the “delete sidebars” feature. after having removed a few sidebars, I noticed that widgets had been removed from other sidebars.

It’s worse than I thought…Things have been completely shuffled.

Hi, finally decided to purchase your theme because it suited my site’s look and feel the best amongst others.

I’ve installed WPML and tried it. Looks pretty good at the moment. But there are some strings that I need to have in two languages.

For example, the “teaser” text + button text, subfooter, copyright text, call-to-action text, and so on, which doesn’t appear for translation in the “string translation” panel.

Can you please teach me how to add codes or things like that (if needed) so that it appears in “string localization” for translation? Because WPML doesn’t support Quick Tags like qTranslate to add [:en]english text[:zh]chinese text in the fields I want to translate. (qTranslate doesn’t support WP 3 .0.2 anyway).

In another words, I need options to translate any available text field that appears in the “Tesla Option” tab.

Thanks for your prompt response. It’s ok, I downgraded my WP to 3.0.1 and using qTranslate instead of WPML . Everything works beautifully.

In fact, I would recommend using qTranslate for multilingual site with Tesla instead of WPML because qTranslate supports HTML quicktags which I can use to translate the text field in the Admin Options page (eg/ Teaser text, Call-In action text, footer, and so on). Maybe qTranslate suits me more for my site.

I’ve emailed you yesterday but since you haven’t reply yet, I might as well post here with another question.

Oh, and regarding the featured image width, I’ve solved that already. I just want to know how to get rid of the tabbed image thumbnail on the front page and use a static image instead (links still clickable, of course).

And it has been pointed out before, but could you please make list appears to be indented properly inside a box in the next update? This styling is pretty important…

open style.css and find the following piece of code:

around line 56 find and remove the following :

Hi There,

I’ve bought your theme and think it’s great.

I am trying to emulate what you have on your preview homepage at the bottom (tabbed content) and am not sure how you did the services bit. Obviously the services bit is a page in itself but how have you made the 4 pics go accross the top?

If this is a portfolio page how did you add your own links rather than the links to the post underneath the text?

SO for some reason I can’t get thumbnail images to appear on my blog page. The blog page only shows text, not the inserted image. The image does appear on the single post page.

What am I missing? I’m sure its simple.

Thanks for the feedback! My mistake was only clicking in ‘featured image’ on the side of the post page and inserting it into post – not ‘use as featured image’ on the followup page. I thought that if i did the second step it would become part of the slideshow – forgetting that the slideshow is set up a different options page.

Probably would not have figured that out for a while – thanks again. Where do I click to rate this theme – it gets 5 stars from me.

Do you mean that it’s not appearing on the “categories” page for all the posts you made? If that’s the case, all those thumbnail images are using “featured image”. You won’t see them if you just insert images like how you normally do (from the visual editor). You’ll have to “set featured image” to make thumbnails appear.

To do that, there’s an option on your right when you add/edit post. You’ll see the “set featured image” option to make the thumbnail appear. I’m sure it’s in the HELP documentation as to how to set featured image.

I found out that by inserting an image / video normally with the visual editor will not trigger Pretty Photo to work. Only featured images are showing up in the same page. Any idea how to implement Pretty Photo to work on media apart from the featured images? I tried using the plugin itself but I guess it conflicts with what you have coded within this theme.

Please tell me where to add / edit the codes to force all images/video to show up like the featured image in the same page…

The prettyPhoto is only implemented for featured images. But you can hardcode what you need by making links with prettyphoto syntax.

Hi,

I installed the theme in wordpress 3.0.1. Theme looks great and everything is working except the contact form. As far as I can tell, it appears that the form is not using ajax.

When I submit the form (with correct field contents), the loading icon appears and then the entire page refreshes to simply show a plain white background with the text “message sent successfully, thank you , your message has been submitted to us”.

Since the form is meant to use ajax to return that response somewhere into the original contact page, I am wondering whether this is an incompatibility between wordpress 3.0.1 and your theme – I cannot find, however, where in your code the ajax call is actually set up so that I can fix it myself.

Hi, it only shows images from posts or pages. You can disable the hyperlinks and just show the images without pointing to the pages. Contact me using my profile form and I will email you how you can disable links

Sorry we don’t do customization. You should do it yourself or ask a freelancer to do it. We are not open for freelance work right now.
