Hi johnanu ,

thank you for purchasing Thalassa. Sorry to hear about your download speed, but there isn’t anything we can do, as Themeforest- Envato is hosting the files.

Regarding the second issue, when you open HTML folder, there are two sub folders – business and creative. Every of these sub folders contain dark and light skin. You only need to choose which one you would like to use. Hope this helps. if you’ll have any more questions I suggest that you register on our support forum.

Hello,

Scroll to the bottom of the .html page and find a jquery part, for example:
$('#portfolio-carousel').carouFredSel({
A few lines below, you will see a code
scroll: 1,
Replace it with
scroll : {
    items            : 1,
    pauseOnHover    : true
},

You can check out the official documentation for a list of functions and examples at http://docs.dev7studios.com/jquery-plugins/caroufredsel.

Hi Robert,

Thanks for a very nice template. On my computer, everything worked fine, but after putting it online the portfolio site is messed up. Could you please have a look at www.stijnvanneste.be? It’s not my first site i publish on my webspace, the others work fine.

Many thanks in advance for your solution.

Hi robert,

Thanks for your replay. The site is not finished, so i understand the 404 errors. I was just putting some things online to show my customer for evaluation. If i go speciffic to the portfolio page, the pictures doesn’t show right up. They show up partly over each other and stick together. On this link you can see 2 pictures of it (1x tablet, 1x desktop pc) http://www.stijnvanneste.be/printscreen.html I got 21 projects on the page instead of 12 as in the template. But should no problem? Checked in chrome, firerfox, opera and IE. Only IE seems to display correct. Thanks a lot for your help.

Hello,

Please try going to js/portfolio.js and change the very first line from

$(document).ready(function() {

to

$(window).load(function() {

You probably have this problem because the script executes before all the images are done loading. The

$(window).load(function() {

waits for all the resources to be loaded and then executes.

Hi Robert,

The site is now finished, and it seems like the project pages have some kind of simmilar problem. Here http://www.stijnvanneste.be/error.html you can see 2 examples. Could you please have a look at this as well?

Many thanks. Kind regards, Sven

Hello,

This looks like the portfolio carousel elements get their heights set before the images are fully loaded.

Please try the following – open up the .html file called stijnvanneste-trappen01.html and find the following:

// PORTFOLIO CAROUSEL START
$('#portfolio-carousel').carouFredSel({
    prev: '.c_prev',
    next: '.c_next',
    auto: false,
    scroll: 1,
    width: 'variable',
    height: 'variable',
    items: {
        width: 'auto',
        visible: 4
    }
});// PORTFOLIO CAROUSEL END

Replace the upper code with the following:

// PORTFOLIO CAROUSEL START
$(window).load(function(){
    $('#portfolio-carousel').carouFredSel({
        prev: '.c_prev',
        next: '.c_next',
        auto: false,
        scroll: 1,
        width: 'variable',
        height: 'variable',
        items: {
            width: 'auto',
            visible: 4
        }
    });
});// PORTFOLIO CAROUSEL END

We have added a window on load event so the jquery code reponsible for portfolio carousel gets executed once all the images are loaded.

Let me know once you modify the .html file to see if it works good.

Hi Robert,

Added the code to all the portfolio pages. Tested now for 2 days in different browsers and seems to be solved. Once again, thank you very much for an excellent support.
