I might be interested in purchasing if you could fix the main banner to not distort when resizing the viewport.
Hi, Thanks for you interest.
Main banner resizes using media query, at each new size (considering it a new device) please refresh the browser and it should be displaying fine.
Hi there, I am wondering if I can edit this templates into a Chinese website. Besides, can I edit the color of the background/header? Thank you!
You can edit template according to your requirements in any language and its purely a CSS based header, you can edit the foreground and background colors very easily.
Won’t install on Joomla 2.5.11. Get an error that there is no setup file. After unzipping the package I discovered that there is no xml file.
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file
Impossible to load on Joomla.
Hi, template is not working with Joomla because its a static HTML template. Its not developed for Joomla. Only WordPress and HTML versions are available (you already purchase HTML version).
im just starting out with this; a new beginner. im working on a website for my father-in-law, who is an evangelist. his current website is terrible. my question is, if i purchase this or any template, what freedom do i have with it? can it be used like any other website? open to the public? allowing me to made updates?
Its an HTML template. You can edit it with any text editor or HTML editor and make whatever changes you like. To do updates, you need to upload HTML files each time you make changes.
Thank you for replying. next and last question (hopefully), what, then, is the difference between the template and wordpress? i’ve read differing answers. some say a template and wordpress (theme) are the same; others say they’re different.
HTML templates are web pages, or portions of web pages, which can be reused many times to create numerous pages with similar content. These web pages can be edited by any text editor like Notepad++ or HTML editor like Dreamweaver.
You can upload these pages to your web hosting to work as a website.
A WordPress theme is a set of files that determine the look and feel of your WordPress-powered website. Themes include information about the general layout of the site, and other content such as graphics, headers, logos and footers.
ok so if i used a template, the only thing i could control would be the text; i couldn’t change the layout or design of the template. whereas wordpress would give me more options to work with, such as the theme and layout design, pictures, logos, etc.??? is that about right?
everything I’ve read about wordpress says that its more geared for blogs, altho one could technically set it up as a website by just disabling all of the “blog” portions to make a more static site. would that be a better/easier option than a html site template?
thanks for all your help.
Off-course WordPress is more geared towards blog but we have built our own framework into this theme which allows you to use it just like a website. Demo at http://demo.crunchpress.com/the-church2/ is built using WordPress.
Firstly, thank you so much for making such a fantastic template!
Would you kindly help me with some questions, please:
I am currently building a Healing Services and Education Site for a Non-Profit Org-
1. Under OUR SERVICES, I would like to include 3 workshop windows with a button to allow visitors to register to the workshops directly through the site through a customized registration form and payment. On the 4th square, I would like to link to a Healing Tools Shop within the site. Would this be possible to modify?
2. This leads me to the second question of: Would it be possible to include a Shop Section in this template with a cart? If not, would it be possible to do a “link out” to a Shop Section Extension Site from this template from one of the Home-bar Menu tabs or from the last Square under the OUR SERVICES tab?
3. Prayer Request Form: Up to how many questions is the user able to include in this form? Is it possible to allow visitors to submit an image?
4. Is it possible to include an Introduction/Instructional Paragraph in the Blog Section/Prayer Form Section?
5. Is it possible to include a Submit Button in the Blog Section that links to a form similar to the Prayer Request Form that allows visitors to submit text and images? And finally is it possible to include a Subscribe button?
Thank you very very very much! Any help is appreciated!
Here are answers to your questions.
1- Yes, you can link up the registration forms with the services tags
2- You can add as much prayer form in to website as much you like.
3- It is an html template you can add / remove content according to you requirement.
4- Yes you can add Submit button in blog section, user can send you text from the similar form , but you need to modify form for getting images from user end.
5. It is an html template you can add / remove content according to you requirement.

> Do these templates support other vendor products – like google calendar/ lightbox of our interest
> do you provide support after purchase if we face with cross browser issues
> Would you be able to share us few screenprints of the same template in different color
thanks in Advance,
I wanted to know if there is a manager created for editing “blog” section?
In HTML version such functionality is not available. I recommend you to purchase WordPress version, it have blog management and dozens of other CMS based features.
Check it here. http://goo.gl/Q30xf
hi.. found a small bug in demo version..
when i scroll a bit down to the level when ‘at The Church’ section comes to the top of the page (immediately after the sliders section coming to top end of page) the menu bar (which contains link of Home and such) doesn’t have its background colour changed to Black – hence remains transparent.
Can i have this rectified, when i buy this version..
I’m sorry I’m not able to understand it this way. Can you please share a screenshot. Also please let me know which browser you are using.
Hi – can you please share me your email id to which i can share u the screenshot.
Hi – i’ve purchased your template (The Church)...
> but tabs aren’t working in it. can you please share me a sample code for tabs…
> also can you please share me the sample animation files for The Church template.
(you had said earlier that you could share it in one of my earlier comments).
Please open a ticket at http://crunchpress.com/support

I have found a few bugs in Firefox (on Mac):
Specified “type” attribute of “application/json” is not supported. Load of media resource playlist.json failed.
All candidate resources failed to load. Media load paused.
Everything stops – none of the jQuery works. If you could advise a fix it would be greatly appreciated.
Do you have found these bugs on theme demo too?
Please open a ticket at http://crunchpress.com/support so we can work with you to get these fixed for you.
Good Morning. Need your support..
I purchased your theme – The Church of HTML version. Everything works really well, except for Option/ Dropdown menu. The drop down though coded in html is not displayed at all. This is seen in the demo version of your site also (prayerrequest.html).. can you please help me on this regard by sharing the updated theme.
(note: dropdown menu is seen at initial load when the page is completely loaded, they are not displayed)
thanks in advance!
Its really great to know that you like our theme.
Have seen your email today and replied to it earlier. Please kindly open a support ticket at http://crunchpress.com/support and support team will get intouch with your regarding this issue.
I like the theme, but there is one hangup right now stopping me from buying it -
There seems to be a bug when you scroll down to the middle of the page and then click on a link and when you go back a page (via the back button on the browser) the header doesn’t display/change correctly to the black when you scroll up. It appears as though the page is taking where the page is scrolled to as the “top” when you go back. Refreshing the page does work, but it’s not clean to force users to do that.
Thanks for your interest in ‘The Church’ template.
Are you pointing out links in ‘Our Services’ section (4 circles).
These are placeholder links, they are supposed to link to any services page that you come up with or any internal page. They shouldn’t necessarily have link to home page.
No. Go here without the frame http://html.crunchpress.com/the-church/ then scroll down, click event details on one of the sample events, then hit the back button on the browser, then scroll up a bit. You can see that the top navigation menu does not behave as expected. I am using the latest version of Chrome.
I got it. When back button is pressed, ‘Top Menu’ misses its background. I’m going to report this as a bug and get it fixed ASAP.
Thanks for pointing this out.
Welcome! Let me know when you fix it! Thanks!
We have updated theme to version 1.1.0
This issue is fixed in this release.
Have you deployed the update to the live preview? I’m still seeing the issue on the live preview.
Its updated at demo, can you please clear browser cache and check again.
That did the trick! Sorry about that. Looks much better now. Thanks for fixing this so fast!
I have been waiting a week for someone to help with the contact/prayer request forms…They DO NOT WORK AT ALL! Wow I wish I would have known I’d be waiting this long. I would not have purchased this! Now I can’t even publish my site until I get this to work. If anyone does know how to correct this I am willing to offer you FREE HOSTING for your site on my dedicated server.
Sorry for the issue you are facing. Can you please share your ticket number that you opened at support forums. I’m personally going to check it out.
I had just visited your ticket.
Our support tech is checking out the issues in theme, if its forms are not working, we will release an update ASAP. If forms are fine then we need to inspect your template files.
I will get back to you in few hours.
Hi, we are compiling the update. It will be available in 24 hours +/- through your themeforest.net downloads section.
So I would have to re-create my Website AGAIN???
Nops, you just need to make edits or replace contact page and prayer page HTML files & copy 2 PHP files to your existing project.
Updated version of theme is available for download now.
If you need any further help, you can ask your questions in your existing support tickets.
