Hey, for the homepage you can edit the slider, the tagline under it, the “About Our Church” area and the “Quote” area as well. For the module under it, it’s a widgetized area which contain all of you custom and normal posts. This module can be activated on any pages.

Hey, it’s not one click but it’s really simple and everything is in the documentation, and yes there’s the dummy content + another files for theme optionns

I have a couple of pre-sale questions:
1. On the slider, is it possible to make the entire slide linkable, rather than have a “read more” button?
2. The wood texture in the background… It’s great, but if needed, can it be changed to something else?
3. I’m assuming logos can be images, correct?
4. Sub-sub menus (sub-menu within a sub-menu), this can be done, right?
5. How customizable are the image headers, such as the map, calendar, and desert?

I purchased. What code do I change for the slider to be automatic? And is there a way where I can make a page my home page and still keep the slider? Like when I create a Home page and set it as the home in Settings…the slider goes away. Is there any way to do that? Or to customize the page that the slider is on?

Good morning Dany, I really like the theme. Great design. I’m having 2 problems.
1- The XML fails to load with Wordpress Importer. I’ve tried several times and downloaded it more than once.
2- How can I eliminate the Sermons custom posts? Or at least rename them?

PRE-SALES QUESTIONS
1. Is there any way to have the option to have a calendar view for events, perhaps in a sidebar widget? Or an “upcoming event” list as a sidebar?
2. I would like to have the option for people to sign up for our newsletter or recent posts. Do you have a widget for that already or do I need a plug in. It would be nice to have the email sign up either in the footer or on the home page replacing where the quote is now… or both. Thanks!

Presale Questions: Really love the home page. Have some questions…
1. The event list is okay but is there a calendar view available? If so, does it show multiple events on one day?
2. Are there any customization features for the media/other posts to remove some of the standard icons. Just a design difference, we don’t want the extra icons.
3. Is there a gallery/portfolio option included in the theme? If so, is it sortable/filterable?
4. The text over the slider disappears at a certain point when the resize of the browser (like on a phone) gets small. Since the image is not clickable (other posts in this forum) and the text and button do no show on small resize… How can the reader click… or get more…
5. I tried to look in the forum for online documentation to answer some of these questions but the forum is locked unless I purchase… is there any more detail on all available features?

1. No calendar sorry. For the date, it’s just a field where you set categories to the events on the same date and then get that category url page somewhere.
2. Oh you can remove the icons easily, I will show you how if you need help.
3. You can use the default WP gallery but I know there is tons of great free plugins for that.
4. They don’t, sorry.
5. Nope, everything is on the item detail page and on the theme preview.

Nice theme, but I cannot seem to figure out if why I have no images in the header/banner. I imported the layout and dummy file for content but I have no images in the banner. I did create a child theme as I do for all installations. Is the theme child theme capable or did I just miss something else completely?
OK, I figured out the images. I guess I thought the image samples would be included.

Having a problem controlling image size. It appears that .alignleft or .alignright has a set width of 50% in the included style.css. These are standard WP classes. I tried to override this by adding a new class to the image to no avail. How can I keep the image from scaling? See draft United Methodist Church logo near bottom of home page. Image info tells me: 100px × 181px (scaled to 350px × 181px). Site location: http://npumc.zubird.net/

Got that one too. I changed my added class to an ID instead. Now it snapped into its correct size. Thank you. If there is a better way, please let me know.

And no, my image issue is not fixed after all.
I finally removed the standard Wordpress class (.alignleft) from my image and styled separately. It is fixed. Not sure why I cannot login to the forum. Let me know how to get there; I’m sure I’ll have more questions.

Well, the ”.” got in there simply by typing a it into the field after pasting the link. Sorry. The error is gone now. I am using Firefox and there were 2 php errors at the bottom of the page previously. I still get “No valid purchase codes where found” though.

I don’t think any themes on themeforest can be use with wordpress.com accounts.
