i’m having trouble adding a geolocated marker, using:
$(’#gMap’).gmap3( { action : ‘geoLatLng’, callback : function(latLng){ if (latLng){ $(’#gMap-result’).html(‘localised !’); $(this).gmap3({ action: ‘addMarker’, latLng:latLng }, “autofit”); } else { $(’#gMap-result’).html(‘not localised !’); } } }); });—-—-—-——- $(function(){—-—-—-——-please advise?
Sorry, I’m not sure what you’re trying to do. For help with customizations like this, please use this form: http://themolitor.com/custom
I’m trying to get geolocation… gmap3.js uses geoLatLng.. i’ve requested in the past and got no response
Sorry you didn’t get a response. Did you submit the request here? http://themolitor.com/custom
Hey!
I LOVE the functionality, but I dont need this as whole website.
I have a real estate site and would like to show my listings on this map. But I want it to appear within a wordpress page (not filling the whole browser), i.e. something like 500 height x 800 width
Is that hard to customize or even possible?
Thanks! Heinrich
Hi there,
Thanks for your interest. Unfortunately this template wouldn’t work for that since it is intended to function as a standalone site.
Chris
Hi!
Quick question before buying: Would it be possible to use different markers on the same map, and (if yes) would it take much coding? I need to categorize different places, and think the use of different markers would make an excellent visual representation on the map.
Thanks in advance.
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing!
Unfortunately it does require quite a bit of coding to achieve this in the HTML version. For customizations like this, please use this form: http://themolitor.com/custom
Thanks!
Chris
Hi ! Perhaps a stupid question… Is it possible to replace the google map by a personal map (like a map of a fantastic world) or a big image where we want to show details… Thanks
Hi there,
Unfortunately only Google maps are supported. Sorry.
Chris
Hi!
First of all, I love it! And for the second, you mean I am allowed to add my own photos to gallery? Meaning if i click the pin, Google maps shows the right place but the user can see pictures taken by me (in the gallery) ?
Hi there,
Thanks!
Yes, you can add your own images to the gallery section of the post details. Just upload images to the post and you’re done. You don’t need to copy/paste URLs or use shortcodes. Just upload and that’s it
Chris
hi! nice job!!! very good!
i have a question for u.
can i change the “basic” map with one of mine private map ?
where can i change the url ?!
tnx!
Thanks for purchasing!
This theme only supports Google maps by default. If you need to use something else, please use this form to submit a customization request: http://themolitor.com/custom

I bought this at the end of last year and started working on it, then paused and then picked it back up without issue last week. The HTML version is easy to use (I bought both just in case) as long as you know the basics of HTML . Change this, change that, add this and done. I don’t know of an easier template for the cost. The last one I bought was $140 and it was nowhere near the ease of this.
Thank you for making this template and helping out all us little guys. This rocks!
Thanks so much! I really appreciate that nice feedback
Great job. I just love it. A quick question before I buy it. How easy is to enable tthe search? I mean is easy to built a search function that search in your own database but in this script the search function must search in the google maps? or is another way. Thank you for your answer
Hi there,
I haven’t actually tried setting up a search feature outside of WordPress, so I can’t really advise on how hard it is to achieve.
I’m guessing it would be easier and less time consuming to use WordPress than to setup a database and write a search feature. But again, I haven’t done this, so I’m only guessing.
Hope that helps!
Chris
Thanks for an incredible theme. Is there a way to have the leave a reply section on the blog and map post send you an email like the contact form does?

First of all, the map is awesome.
I had to go with the HTML version so that I can place it within my existing Wordpress theme. Is there something you can suggest that I can use as an CMS for the map? This is for a client and he wants to update the properties himself.
Thank you! Andrew
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing! I’m not familiar with any other CMS options other than WordPress, so I don’t have any good suggestions for you. Sorry.
Chris
I’m interested in using this theme, but am wondering about the options under the home tab. When I click on them, nothing happens. Are these supposed to be filters?
If so, do they work off of geographic coordinates or tags within each placemark? What I want to do is to create a series of tags for non-geographic features (historical people, time periods, etc) and have those as tags that people can use to filter the placemarks that are showing on the map. Is this built in functionality, or something that would require altering the code? TIA !
Hi there,
This is an HTML version of a WordPress theme, so a lot of what you see are features from WordPress. That said, since this is HTML , you can link those items to whatever you want and make the theme function however you want. You just create a page with certain locations and link to them from the tags pop-up.
Hope that clarifies things a bit,
Chris
Great, it sounds like that I can make the adjustments that I need then. I am assuming that my mad HTML skills will be up to the challenge.
Thanks for replying quickly!

Anything beyond what you see in the item description, demo site and video walk-through would be considered a customization. You can submit a request for customizations here: http://themolitor.com/customHi there,
What happens when there are multiple entries with the same geographic coordinates? (ie: a few condos for sale in the same building)? How does it show up on the map?
Thanks
Hi there,
You can position the pins (via long/lat coordinates) to have a very subtle distance from each other so they aren’t at the exact same point, but are relatively close to each other.
Thanks!
Chris
Thanks
If I did that, would that mean there would be lots of pins really close together and overlapping a bit? or would it just show one pin and when you clicked on it , it would show all the entries for that spot?
It depends on the zoom level you specify. If the map is zoomed way out, then they might overlap.
How is this template for SEO ? Was that taken into consideration? THanks
Hi there,
When it comes to theme development, as long as you’re using proper HTML markup and syntax, any theme is SEO friendly. You can also use some SEO plugins to add additional control.
Thanks!
Chris
Very nice template – I would like to use it for realestate listing.. can you give me some idea how much coding might be required to show the real estate properties as markers on the map, and show property pictures on hover. I am a backend developer and I can handle the backend stuff, just trying to understand what might be required on the frontend
Hi there,
That’s a large order and isn’t something I could provide details for. If you want to get an estimate on time/cost, please submit a request here: http://themolitor.com/custom
Thanks!
Chris
Hello, the theme looks nice. I would like to ask a question. Is there any reason why I cannot scroll zoom in and out?
Hi there,
Yes, scrolling with the mouse wheel has been deactivated. Since this theme is full screen, if users want to scroll the page content, it will create a confusing effect where not only is the page scrolling but the map as well.
Thanks!
Chris
hi MOLITOR ,
amazing work. you really hit a great niche with this. thanks!
As you can see in this screenshot: http://cl.ly/2n0k3n0238463F0t0a1b the red circle is not centered around the map pin.
I’m wondering if you could tell me how to modify the settings to fit my non-full screen display?
Thanks!
Hi there,
Unfortunately there are too many factors involved with using a WordPress theme in an iframe like that to be able to provide support.
Thanks!
Chris
hey chris,
thanks for the quick reply. just to confirm i’m not using the WP theme or an iframe.
I’m using the HTML version and this is going to be built in the page natively.
I feel like there should be a javascript setting / code that could be modified to easily fix this up?
Oh, sorry for the confusion. Still, the template isn’t built to display like that, so unfortunately that isn’t something I can troubleshoot. The coordinates of everything depend on the site being full screen and calculations are made based on that.
Thanks!
Chris
