Is this template already Mobile compatible?
It’s not currently responsive (in the pipeline). This theme loads on mobile devices like it does on normal desktops.
Hi, the map doesn’t show up when i select a category from the menu.

For support, please use my support forums and I’ll be happy to troubleshoot with you: http://themolitor.com/forums
Hi, your forum is not working.
I made a slider for the index because my client wanted to. But i have the issue that i cant change the Static Front Page, the page that i select turns into the map. http://goo.gl/aywhP
How can i do this?
The forums appear to be working now. Please try again.
it’s a nice template and i loved it
i have a few questions
1. can it be modified to get the current location for the user and the nearest places around him ?
2. instead of the take me to google maps can you make the routing inside the website ?
Those are not built-in features, but you can submit customization requests here: http://themolitor.com/custom
Hi! Your Theme is awesome!!
Just the perfect theme for my worldtrip blog! But before i purchase your cool theme, i have a short question (sorry if this was asked before, i couldn’t find the answer posts before…)
are the pins sorted by date? so that on my worldtripblog the last marked pin would show my current residence? would be cool to follow my trip….
Yes, that’s correct. The map focuses on the latest pin added to the map.
I have a client that is using your theme , they want to add Instagram to the social media listing at the bottom,, is this possible?
I tried to include as many popular social sites as I could at the time. Obviously there are so many out there that I’m bound to miss a large amount of them (in order to keep the theme options manageable).
Since those icons are hard coded into the theme, custom designed and controlled from the theme options panel, adding them isn’t a simple edit. For customizations like this, please use this form: http://themolitor.com/custom
Hello. Would this theme be suitable for use as a city guide for events and venues? Can it put event creation behind a paywall?
This theme is perfect as a city guide, but there are no paywall features built into the theme. Something like that would require a plugin or customization.
I am searching for a theme that I can use for a location library – a searchable, categorised archive of film and photo locations….. and I think that Navigator may just be the answer I am looking for.
My main concern at the moment is the number of images it can handle, as I am talking in the tens of thousands…... is it unlimited or?
Also, do you have an idea of when an update to make it responsive will be available?
I just want to check also that it has multi-tiered menus? What I mean is that I can list ‘houses’ for example as a category and then ‘modern, traditional, timber, etc etc
Also if the search function is based on keywords…... so if someone was to put in house, pool it would bring up any properties that had these keywords?
Thanks for your interest in The Navigator!
1. I haven’t tested the limits of how many posts can appear, but the number you mentioned is quite large. I wouldn’t recommend loading that many items on a single page as the loading times would be very long.
2. No immediate plans for responsiveness, but it’s on my list of features to add for sure.
3. Yes, there are multi-tiered menus. You can see an example of this in the demo.
4. The search feature is using the default WordPress search system. Basically it searches post content and title. There are plugins to extend the search feature as well.
Hope that helps!
Thanks for your response Chris….. and yes, it helps!
In terms of the number of photos, it would be a situation of menu items that went something like this:
Then within ‘modern’ – House julie, loft david, white house etc etc
The each of these would have maybe ten photos or so….
So what counts as a ‘single page’? If each single page is the ultimate sub category then it will be fine…... as long as the overall website can hold the whole archive…... is there a backend storage limit? Does the site have to search the whole archive every time a property loads?
I apologise if it is not exactly clear what I mean – while I do have some (self taught) experience with Wordpress sites I am by no means a coder or expert in the terminology of all of this.
Thanks a million Chris, I appreciate your time!
There’s no storage limit I’m aware of (aside from your server/hosting limitations). Categorizing your posts is the best method so that you don’t have to load everything on a single page/map. Instead, you can link to categories in the menu (like in the demo site), so that posts are broken up into groups.
Hope that helps.
That’s what I thought so that will be fine – each final ‘page’ would have no more than 20 photos.
Thanks again for your time and help!
I apologize for listing my question through a comment but your links for support and custom questions don’t seem to be working?
I’m interested in this theme and would like to utilize it as a geo-based coupon/business map marker.
I have a few “custom” ideas that I’d like to talk to you about to see if they could be incorporated? I’ve found several plugins but wanted to make sure they would work with your setup?
Plugins/Features I’ve found and would like to incorporate:
Convert WP to Mobile App (utilize geolocation to populate nearest markers on the map based on where the user is viewing from on their mobile device)
Category/Marker Icons (to represent different places of business .. ie: restaurants, lodging, etc).
Please let me know if you’d be able to set that up and at what cost? Again, I found plugins but just didn’t know if that’s the best way to go or if I should have you personally customize it for my needs?
My sites were temporarily experiencing server issues. Sorry about that. They should be back up now. Please feel free to submit customization questions here: http://themolitor.com/custom
Hi! I think i will definitely buy your theme for my travel blog! But I have just a short question: What is the minimum webspace required for this theme?
Are you asking how much space you need on your host to use this theme? If so, that isn’t something you should have to worry about.
Are there any plans to add Openstreetmap as standard option or would this be possible as a customization ? just thinking of a way out of jail if google increased charging for maps or reduced the free threshold.
That isn’t a built-in feature, but you can definitely submit a customization request to explore custom solutions: http://themolitor.com/custom
Got a couple more questions after watching the videos – hope you can help..
through ui or with code can i do any of these …?
1) can i get the place preview box on the main map taller and show content ?
2) can i get ‘view details’ link in place preview box on the main map to point to what i want ?
3) can i add custom fields to places ?
4) can i get any custom field i’ve added to a place to show up in the preview box on the main map ?
5) can i change map pin ?
6) can i change colour of map pin and locator ring from red.
thanks a lot.
1-4: These are not built-in theme options. For changes like this, you can submit a customization request here: http://themolitor.com/custom
5. Yes, this is a built-in feature (custom image for each post).
6. The locator ring is an image you can easily replace in the images folder of the theme.
I am so happy to come across your theme. I think it is exactly what I need for a project but I have a pre-purchase question.
In your demo, the pin links to a page with a box for information, including (in the demo) details, gallery, share, related, meta, and comments. My questions are regarding this box:
1) Can the size be increased? Or the font within increased?
2) Can text be added to the DETAILS tab or is it just for location information and lists? I need it to be able to contain text.
If not, 3) Can the map pins link to a page like the ABOUT page in your demo?
4) Can the Tabs (details, gallery, share, related, meta, and comments) be deleted/not displayed OR changed to a custom name?
I hope to hear from you soon as I am anxious to get started. Thanks.
Please ignore previous questions. I went ahead and purchased the site and your videos and documents are SO HELPFUL that I am already up and running! Thanks!!
Awesome! Thanks for purchasing and following up with your previous comment
Hi, I would you ask the questions about this theme: this is responsive? how large is this package with all data, and how long is loading on slow servers? sorry, if this questions was eariler, but i want buy this theme and knew all about doubt. And please forgive me my very very basic (if you now what iu mean :)) english, my learning in progress
Przemek from Poland
The size of the site and how long it takes to load really depends on the amount of posts you have and type of hosting account you have setup, so I can’t say for sure as it’s different for everybody.
Is it possible to create a pin location for a City example ‘New York’ and then have multiple pins for that city?
So when the user clicks on New York, the map zooms in and you see more pins with general information about each pin overall
That currently isn’t a supported feature, but please feel free to submit a customization request to explore your options: http://themolitor.com/custom
It looks great theme but, Each time user needs to clicks the zoomin/zoomout button. Zooming must be user friendly. I don’t find the way to easily zoom the location by double click or scrolling the mouse like how google map is working.
Is this option double click / scrolling mouse for zoom in & out can be enabled ? so that I can buy.
You can turn them back on, but scroll and double-click to zoom were disabled for a couple reasons…
1. Since the map is fullscreen, scrolling through content on the page would simultaneously cause the map to zoom, creating a confusing experience for the user.
2. This theme uses custom zoom control buttons. As a result, they don’t “talk” to the other methods of zooming.
Hope that explains things a bit.
For the map function, Can i limit it to my own country, instead of world map?
Yes, you can adjust the zoom level so that is focuses closer to the area of your markers.
Hi and Oooops what a beatiful theme you have made.
But… I need a directory with different pins for different categories and also the possibilty to choose “view category xxx”?
Yes, you can customize the pin for individual items and view by category.
And one more Q (Sorry ) Is it any option so visitors can submit posts easy on a form?
That isn’t a built-in feature, but you can submit a customization request for something like that here: http://themolitor.com/custom
it doesn’t have compatibility with budypress (bb forums) please update that so i can buy it thanks
Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in
Currently I don’t have any plans to add buddypress support. If you need features not built into the theme, you can submit a customization request here: http://themolitor.com/custom
Regarding the error, where are you seeing that? On the demo site?
