The PaperCore - Elegant Wordpress Theme

Hey, Will this theme have any problems with 3.3.1 wp ? will it screw up the design or any thing ?

I am loving both your Papercore and Dandelion Theme.

I am hoping to combine my blog http://fairfieldcountylandscapedesign.com/ and my website http://landdesigns.com/ .

On wordpress.com I created a blog without too much trouble and changed a template. I am a new wordpress user and not quite ready to mess around with a lot of code. You do make it look pretty easy.

Could you tell me the difference between PaperCore and Dandlion? I am a landscape designer and would like to (1) present pictures of my work (2) create a blog that is easy to read and search by categories, (3) easy to design and update.

Is it possible to change the height of the slider on the home page so some text below can be read?

If I decided to change from one theme to another is it a straightforward process or will I spend days cleaning it up?

I have been over in the help forum and your videos make the process of making changes very straight forward. I am leaning toward the Dandelion Theme for the reasons you listed – a lot more options.

Hi, is it possible to have multiple menus? I’d like to have different sub menus under different pages. Basically what you have under portfolio – So under main “about us” page there would be a another bar – “staff”, “history”....

Pretty farfetched that I had to change ‘page’ into ‘contact’ for the contactsidebar to work on the contact page.

Contact form page template (contactPage.php) <?php get_sidebar(‘pageSidebar’); get_footer(); ?>

Just installed the theme. Love it!

One initial problem is the footer appears at the top only on the home page and I’m not sure how to fix it.

No worries I fixed it by removing the search widget!

I purchased this theme, installed it and activated it, but there is only one page of the template showing up, that is the “sample page” and it does not load properly. There is no contact form, or portfolio template, etc. I understand that the photos are not included in the download, but I assumed I would get a template for each of the pages included in the demo. Am I missing something?

I’ve used your Cotton in the past and love they way your themes are set up – very easy to customize. I’m hoping this one will work for a project I’m starting and have a few pre-sales questions for you:

1. Is there an option for the sidebar to be on the left? I don’t see it this way in the demo.

2. Instead of the large image slider on the alternate home page, I would need a two column area with a smaller image slider on the left and a youtube video embedded on the right. Is this possible?

I have problem with filter category. Look at site http://przepilotka.com/wyjazdy/ I don’t know why, but filter does not work. Posts “Beskidy” and “Alpy” have category “Gory” (mountains) and “Morawy Poludniowe” – “Czechy” (Czech Republic). And when I choose subcategory from filter, nothing changes. I downloaded last version v112.

Before I do….does PaperCore support video with its own built-in video player or is it necessary to always embed a video from a source such as YouTube?

How do I know if you’ve got a newer version here on themeforest than the one I have installed. I dont see a version or date where you have “A new update is available” The update includes: .......

I dont want to update a theme if I dont have too, but I dont know how to tell when you are saying a new update is available. On your dandalion theme you have dates and versions for all the updates.

Is their an easy way to add a number of photos to create a gallery and just view the images with the built in image viewer? The portfolio is cool but I would prefer to just display 3-4 images per row on a page for a gallery and be able to launch the image viewer and move through them. I dont want to have to manually post each image as a blog post.
