I am using Chrome. Can you tell me what is supposed to change? I don’t see any changes after I do that. Still a white background all the way through.

I see in your examples, yes that does change. But with Chrome in the Preview, the templates is stretching across the whole screen, so nothing changes as it is white from left to right. I don’t see any patterns when I change the menu.
Could it be my computer? I don’t seem to have any problems with the other previews. Strange. Is there a boxed version tab that I am not clicking?

you probably have a very narrow resolution with your display or the browser window may not be maximized.

Hi, Nice temp. but, Is the email contact form script build with SMTP authentication ? Every hosting provider today require SMTP Authentication? without this future the contact form will not work. Thx
right now the contact form works with PHP mail, but we can modify it for you to use SMTP . Just post this on our Forum (themefuse.com/forum)
Even though I plan to use my own PHP mailing script, I love that the contact form provides a confirmation that the message was sent right on the same page, this is a STELLAR feature.
Also purchasing due to general sleek and gorgeous-ness of the forms layout and pre-styled dropdowns, awesome submit buttons etc. and twitter widgets. Would be interested to know if its easy to make the template full-width or “wide” rather than boxed/narrow though.

It is a very beautiful template, however I was very upset when I discovered the twitter widget featuring the ‘Latest News’ headline on the homepage is a fake. I feel very deceived by that and just want the authors to know I find it VERY irritating when fake twitter widgets are deceitfully put in templates. You cannot simply change the username in the jQuery to your own twitter handle and have it start feeding in your tweets with this widget as you can with other templates – the text for the tweets themselves are just text put in list item elements with links to twitter posts added. I am working on a project that needs to be completed QUICKLY and have a client that specifically requested twitter integration like this; this is the #1 reason I purchased, now I have to spend HOURS extra getting this setup. If I would have known the twitter widget was not functional I would have purchased something else to save time, even though The Practice has such a beautiful visual design.
Hey Ruby, sorry about this, it was not our intention to trick you or something, but being a HTML theme we don’t make all the functionalities working in this step. How our process works is we make the HTML and after that the WP version. In the WP version all it takes and more to make all the features working. (Unfortunately can’t share the link for the WP here due to the envato policies).
More over in our experience, developers that purchase the HTML version usually implement them self different parts of the HTML (maybe in different CMS like Joomla, etc) and every developer has his way of doing it (different scrips, different approaches, etc).
Thanks for the reply. I already checked out the WP version on your site but unfortunately not interested in the Wordpress version for The Practice, but possibly for Medica in the future. Its just that, I have bought dozens of HTML templates from Themeforest that did have fully functional twitter scrollers (just change the username), but never needed it, and for this template I really did need it, so when I realized it wasn’t setup to work I wasn’t happy.
It probably should be noted in item details or something if widgets like these are functional or just for display or for a developer to setup fully later, that way people know. I’ve been searching endlessly for something that WILL vertically scroll one-tweet-at-a-time for the last day and a half now but unfortunately cannot find anything that will allow me to keep with the sleek look of the Twitter bar in the template with the ‘Latest News’ heading, etc. I also bought a Twitter scroller from CodeCanyon even though dozens of people had commented and said that the file did not work properly, just to see, but that didn’t do the trick either.
Just keep in mind that many (though not all) of the buyers here on Themeforest are designers, who are not as strong at development. This is why they are purchasing templates – they expect the templates will be ready to go. Please consider making more items already functional in your templates in the future like some other authors do. Your work is beautiful and this would make it even better! It would not only help with sales but would probably also cause Envato to raise the selling price of your template, resulting in even more success! I will say that other than the problems I ran into with Twitter (still haven’t figured out a solution), the rest of the template is very well-coded and designed and easy to work with.
Ruby, I’ll talk to our guys and see if we could implement the twitter widget for the HTML as well.

Very nice and clean. Fresh! But… the responsive doesn’t work correct. Not in my computer when I test the responsive layout or in my smartphone (HTC Desire HD). Is it something that’s going to be fixed? Thanks again for good work!

have you tried resizing your browser to smartphone sizes (try i.e. 320×480). The theme seems to be responding to about more than ~500 px – if you open the theme on a smartphone, the content floats and you have to scroll. Is this a bug and will you resolve it? We would love to buy this theme, but it has to look good also on smartphones.

I’ve just tested and it works fine on my iPhone. Have you tried to tilt your phone the other way? The theme is built to work on 480×320.

Just wanna let you know that we’ve fixed the issues in iPhone (320px resolution – iPhone portret mode). The files already in the update queue, it will take a short while and you’ll be able to download the latest version. Give it a couple of hours.
