I am getting a failed message when trying to upload the theme zip folder. “unzip-thepractive-wp-theme.zip” or the “themeforest-7631488-the-practice-lawyer-wordpress-theme-wordpress_theme” folder.

and how do I get the slider to show on the homepage?

ThemeFuse

You need to un-zip the folder, inside you’ll find the actual WordPress theme. Regarding the other question please be so kind and emails us on support@themefuse.com and our guys will help you asap.

can we change colors?

ThemeFuse

Hi,

the only way to change theme color scheme will be to make changes in theme stylesheet and also there is needed to change the color of some images/icons. If you need more details you can send us an email to support[at]themefuse.com and we will help.

Cheers, Max.

^ I also would like to know how to change the color scheme. I may be needing this for a different color.

Hi, for this theme, the slider, can add in a youtube video in the silder?

ThemeFuse

Hi,

by default the slider doesn’t allow videos, only images can be added but it can be replaced with a slider plugin. If you need the instructions please let us know.

Cheers, Max.

I have tried uploading the theme directory after unzipping and still get the “style.css” missing error. What is the exact name of the zip folder that needs to be uploaded? This is a nuisance.

ThemeFuse

Hi,

not sure what you mean, please provide more details. Thanks.

Hi, Under the Fuse Framework there is a Styles Tab on your website (http://themefuse.com/wp-themes-shop/lawyer-wordpress-theme/ ) . However I dont see any Styles option in our installation

ThemeFuse

Hi,

sorry for a late response and misunderstanding, the theme doesn’t have the option to change colors from backend but if you want to change those, please send us an email to support@themefuse.com or submit a ticket from our website and we will be happy to help you.

Thanks for understanding. Cheers,
Max.

Does the theme includes the PDSs?

ThemeFuse

Hi,

PSD’s are available with developer package only which can be bought only on our website.

Cheers,
Max.

Is there any way to have a full width page? It seems like the only option is to have a page with widgets.

ThemeFuse

Hi,

sure, from Appearance -> Widgets, go to Manage Sidebars, when you add a sidebar for a page, you can select to have sidebar right, left or no sidebar option. You can watch this video for more details.

Cheers,
Max.

Hi! When I upload the website, the slider in the Homepage Header doesn’t show… although I select it in the framework (homepage tab, home page header…). I also tried selecting it in the page tab (header tab, slider on header…). But it doesn’t run. It runs in local! Do you know why? Thanks!

ThemeFuse

Hi,

please submit a ticket from our website and add there your wordpress installation link, username and password from wordpress dashboard and we will have a look into this.

Cheers,
Max.

Hi. I solved it. I tried in another ISP provider and it runs. So it seems to be any incompatibility with the old server. Thanks!

ThemeFuse

Ok, in case you will have any problems, don’t hesitate to submit a ticket from our website.

Hey Guys,

Great theme!

Two questions.

(1) On all other pages the following works, but NOT on the home page: I cannot change the header in any way. I tried editing the text for the “Quote Before Slider”. I tried changing Element of Header to “Without Header Element”. Each time, I clicked “Update” to save the page.

I emptied my cache and restarted my browser as well. Nothing I did changed the default quote text or slider.

(2) I tried creating a NEW home page with the same content as the original homepage to see how that would work. On this page, I CAN change the header, but it WON’T get rid of the sidebar.

Please advise!

Sincerely, Erik

Can I delete a page footer with text wordpress?

ThemeFuse

Hi,

yes, you can remove it or replace with yours.

Cheers,

Hello,

I’ve a clients website, where we need to have main categories and child categories. What we need is when the main categories are accessed, the subcategories to be shown as list, and only when the subcategories are clicked, the articles belonging to the corresponding category to be shown.

Right now it doesn’t show the subcategories at all, but instead it just lists all the items from the main category and subcategories, thus making subcategories to nor work at all as expected and not be shown on the frontend.

We want to be able to list all the subcategories with name, image, etc.

Thank you!

Best Regards

ThemeFuse

Hi,

sorry but the theme doesn’t have this option. To get it you’ll have to create another page template and with a wordpress query to get the child terms of the current category or you can create some pages and with html code to add the child categories there then add those pages in your menu instead of categories.

Cheers,
Max.

Hi did you receive my message?

ThemeFuse

Hi,

This are the steps that you need to follow. In TF_EXPORT.php file located in framework\extensions\export directory find this code:
//add_action('admin_menu', array($this, 'add_menu'), 20);
and replace with:
add_action('admin_menu', array($this, 'add_menu'), 20);
Then in Framework menu would appear an export option. from where you can export all your content with a simple click. Now, all framework options, sliders, testimonials, posts, pages etc would be saved in one xml file which would be saved in uploads folder. After this you need to replace uploads folder from the-practice-parent/install (on your localhost) with the one from wp-content folder. After this on your server installation just copy via ftp, parent and child theme folders and you would be able to import the content on your new site.

Cheers,
Max.

First thing I want to change is ”Quote Before Slider” but it doesn’t… Even after clearing my cache. So much for first impressions.

Please advise.

The theme looks good, but the modifications are very limited…

Kind regards

Default-user

Nevermind, found it. Bit strange it’s in two places…

Default-user

‘Services we specialse in: Curabitur vulputate, ligula lacinia scelris que tempor, lacus lacus ornare ante’

Where can I change this?

ThemeFuse

Hi,

when you edit your homepage, you’ll find that text at the beginning of page content.

Cheers,
Max.
