I registered for the forum and entered the purchase code for: The Restaurant Classic Addition theme, but it’s telling me it’s not the right code. Any help with that?
Nix that last comment. I was choosing the wrong, Restaurant theme when trying to insert purchase code.
Haha ok, glad you got it working
I am interested in purchasing this theme but have a question/comment:
When I view the demo site on my iphone the homepage has a very long load time. Then everytime that the automatic “highlight” overlay comes up over one of the square images, the graphics cut out on the iPhone. However, because it is the demo site, the site is still pulling the desktop size theme and not the mobile. I am curious to find out how this theme actually functions on the mobile because it will make or break my decision to purchase and use this theme.
Is there a way I can view the mobile version of the demo site on my phone? IE: is there a url I can enter to force the demo site into mobile view while using my mobile device or is this not possible with the iframe used on the demo site? I can adjust the browsers window on the desktop until the mobile menu and such come up but I am really trying to test the appearance/functionality of the homepage on the mobile device itself.
I have a question on the TRC Custom Contact that displays in the footer or a widget area. There are social media links to Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Flickr and pinterest. I need to add Instragram to the list. Is this possible?
Shouldn’t I just be able to use the Flickr form field, then just put the new icons in for Instagram in the images/customimagewidget folder and get the outcome for Instagram? I don’t need the Pinterest field so wondering if I can substitute Instagram for Pinterest.
Yes in theory that’s possible Could you open a topic on our support forum? Our developer will point you in the right direction.
Is it possible to have an image slider for the front page rather than the mosiac of images? If so, I shall be purchasing as I currently use your other Restaurant theme.
It’s currently not possible to add a large image slider. We used the tiles in this theme because a lot of restaurants don’t have large images available. However, you can still add large images to the top of your pages
Hope this answers your question
Hi, I’m going to purchase this theme.
But before that, i would like to check with you, can i change the categories name (for example “meat” change to “Cake”) in the menu card?
Even better, you can change everything on the menucard You can add as many categories you like to the menucard, in any order you want. You can also create multiple menucard pages.
Is this theme compatible for Paypal as well ?
Well you can install a paypal plugin, depending on what you want to do with it. It’s not build-in if that’s what you mean
This Theme looks good hence I bought it, but looks like it is buggy. Products (one of the main reason I bought this one) in particular doesn’t work as expected. When you click on product to get see more detail – it displays no post found message. I posted this on developer’s website but he is clueless.
$45 for a buggy product is not worth it.
I will take a look at this and let you know what I find. Hopefully we can resolve it soon
very nice theme ! original and modern, but does it will be possible to have a data.xml for have the same as the demo website ?
thank you so much
Thanks! Glad you like it You can download the demo content from our support forum here: support.redfactory.nl
Thanks for buying our theme
great ! thanks for your answer
It looks amazing, congratulations. I´ve been looking for a restaurant theme long time, this is perfect looking.
I see it´s designed with low size pictures in mind, but can I create a regular gallery with showcase?
You can create a page and included images on it if that’s what you mean? The tiled gallery will allow you to link to other locations on your website. If that’s not what you’re looking for then a normal page with images included will do the trick
Why, what I should to do to see the menu system of theme? At normal place haven`t the link to menus of theme. tks!
I’m not quite sure what you mean. Do you mean the menucard? It can be viewed on our demo here: http://www.redfactory.nl/themes/therestaurantclassic/menucard/
If that’s not what you mean, let me know!
sorry, was a conflict with a plugin. tks!
Ok glad to hear you solved it Cheers!
I have purchased the Restaraunt Theme recently and am developing a website for it. I like the theme and find it somewhat agreeable to work with. I am having an issue though where I set up custom sidebars and enable them on pages via the additional options, the only issue is…I’m not seeing these sidebars on the pages that I have chosen. Has anyone else dealt with this issue and how can I resolve it?
Thanks for purchasing our theme! Glad to hear you like it
We’ve set up a dedicated support forum to handle any support questions you may have: http://support.redfactory.nl/. We’d be happy to help you there
Hello im planning to buy you theme but i have some questions:
The “reservation form” is a simple contat form?
Dont ask 2 times for email, and dont shows date rigth?
Is it translation ready?
The gallery is like the home page? , only 6 images that opens a post, not really a gallery?
Glad to hear you like our theme!
For the contact page we make use of the “Contact form 7” plugin. This is a very flexible plugin that will allow you to make as many forms as you want, with as many different fields as you want. This means that you can also add a field for date and time
The theme is indeed translation ready with the use of translation plugins like WPML. This will allow you to make your website fully multilangual.
The gallery is a collection of tiles that shows you an image, title and content. The options with a standard gallery are just too limited. This way you can have full controle over your gallery. You can choose to either fill the gallery with posts from certain categories, or make your own custom tiles. With the latter you can link the tiles to any page you want.
The frontpage does indeed include a gallery. We’ve make it very easy to combine different kind of pages into one. On the frontpage we’ve included a gallery, a normal page and a menucard to show how this works
Hope this answeres your questions! Let me know if you’d like to know more!
Hi, tahnks for your answer, but my main question is about the gallery, the one you have on your demo, for me isn´t a gallery is like to show of the post and links, my question is , if its possible, to put liker 80 picures, like a normal gallery, not a image link gallery,..
i hope i express my self clear!
i ll wait your answer!!
Hello anybody here? that can answer me?
Thank you so much!!
Just answered your questions

Ah like that! Yes that would be possible by simply including images on a page. You can use the posts gallery to create ‘albums’ for galleries. On every post in that gallery you’d make a list of images If you don’t want to use the posts gallery or tiled gallery you can just include several images on a normal page as well.
Hi! Great theme…! One question, before I buy… The menu card doesn’t seem to work the same way as in your previous “The Restaurant” theme: the side slider button is not sliding down with the page when you scroll the menu (page) down…? That was very well designed, why not doing the same here….???
Thank you for your response.
Thanks for the compliment! I agree the sliding arrows are indeed a nice feature The reason why this isn’t in the new theme is because it’s a whole different framework. This means that we build it completely from the ground up. The sliding arrows simply didn’t make it in ‘yet’. We’re making a list with all the requested features for future updates. I’ll add this one to the list as well
Cheers, and thanks for the feedback!
Bring it back soon…! Cheers to you too…
very interested in purchasing this…but want to see it in a client’s application and adaption…do you happen to have the site’s of any clients who have purchased and used this?
Thanks, nice to see you’re interested in our theme
Sadly we don’t have a list of websites from our buyers. I’d wish we had though, because I’d like to see how people are using our theme
If you have any questions, please let me know!
Just want to say that this is a really nice them. Well appreciated.
However, We need to add some custom Java code to the all the pages, so is this possible and could you direct me to the right place?
Thanks for the compliment!
Let me know what you’re looking for
if ($(window).width() > 600)
// Display Food Order Widget
Best would be to make a child theme like explained here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
This way you can keep updating the theme afterwards. In the child theme enqueue the custom javascipt file in the functions.php file and you’re fine
Stunning design, an interesting UX that works really well.I assume that the menu cards can slide more than just the two pages as in the demo if we have more items to display? Thanks
Yes the menucard can slide for as many pages as you want. You can create unlimited pages and fill them with product categories.
Let me know if you have more questions
I can´t see the live demo. The page isn´t available. Why?
That’s strange, the live demo seems to be working fine for me. Can you please check again?
In your demo the footer has a transparent image overlaid on the grey background. How is that done as I am unable to find the transparent image in the media library.
Or if you can send me a link to image that would be greatly appreciated.
Here’s the image from our demo
