Hi

I have an issue when a single blog post is viewed. Basically, the following text is displayed after the comment box and I am lost as to where to remove it, i.e.:

You may use these HTML tags and attributes: <abbr title=””> <acronym title=””>

<del datetime=""> <em> <i> <q cite=""> <strike> <strong> You can view the issue here: http://www.international-restaurant.co.uk/curry-night-thursdays/ Regards, Javed.</strong></i></em></del>

redfactory

Hi,

You can remove this by adding the following to the bottom of the style.css file:

.form-allowed-tags { display: none; }

That should do the trick :)

Cheers!

Hi

I have just tried that and it did not work. I also made sure to clear the cache in order to get the new stylesheet but no luck.

The issue is on the following page:

http://www.international-restaurant.co.uk/history-of-kashmiri-cuisine/

Any idea mate?

Thanks.

Hi

We are ready to launch the website and this is the only thing outstanding so any help to get this resolved would be appreciated.

Thanks.

redfactory

Hi,

I just tried it myself to be sure, and it works just fine. Make sure that it looks like this, and is at the very end of the style.css file:

http://cl.ly/image/3c231G1j2U3N

If you have that then the “HTML tags and attributes” block will be hidden.

Cheers :)

Hi

Thanks for the screenshot, I had it before the last curly bracket.

Just tried it and it works.

Thanks.

You’re welcome! :)

Hi

We are using the Custom Contact widget in the footer and wanted to know if it is possible to update the e-mail field so it becomes a “mailto” compatible. In other words when you click it, it launches the e-mail client ready to send an e-mail?

Regards,

Javed.

redfactory

Hi Javed,

You can create the link directly in the widget like this:

http://cl.ly/image/0P3s2K2L1T10

This will break the widget a bit in the admin (as seen in the screenshot), but it will show up just fine in the site :)

Cheers!

Hi

That worked a treat.

This nifty feature should be implemented into the main code as it’s a quickie but adds more value to an already excellent theme.

Thanks

redfactory

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll include it in the update :)

Cheers!

Hi

We have finished our site but have one outstanding issue. Basically, we have a widget which is placed in top right corner of the website and this covers the Facebook like button. You can view the site here:

http://www.international-restaurant.co.uk/

I want to move the Facebook like button towards the left and can not find where it is positioned. Can you show me how to to do the modification?

Thanks.

redfactory

Hi,

Search the style.css file for the following css class:

#headerBar .social .facebook

You can change the right margin to change its position :)

Cheers!

Default-user

Hi

I have updated the style sheet and cleared the cache and it didn’t work. This is what I changed:

headerBar .social .facebook {

position: relative; top: 1px; margin-right: 200px; }

.button { margin: 0 0 200px 0; }

Is that correct?

Thanks.

Default-user

Hi

I am still awaiting a reply to this outstanding issue as we have a site ready to go with only this issue to be fixed.

Thanks.

redfactory

Hi,

Changing the margin-right of the ”#headerBar .social .facebook” element is indeed the best way of moving the facebook button. That way you can put it a bit to the left to safe some space for the “Order Online” button :)

Hi,

How can we remove the text on top of the slidebox on the homepage?

Thanks

redfactory

Hi,

Do you mean the fading text in the upper left corner of the website? Yes you can disable that :)

Let me know if you have any more questions!

Cheers!

Left a very important item/question/message in the support forum… 12 days ago !! Still no response…. Cloud you please be good enough to respond to item #3948 ? Thank you.

redfactory

Hi,

Our developer was on vacation till last monday and is now catching up on all support questions :) We will get to your question asap! Our apologies for the wait!

Cheers!

Thanks.

2 1/2 months later and still no response to item #3948….!!! Don’t you think that’s a little too long a wait for support…! Unless, of course, your “developer” is still on vacation… I, for one, don’t have that luxury…

Hi,

Can you tell me how to adjust the size of the font for my menu (product items). The menu font is too small and simply changing the font with the customizer is not sufficient. Thanks!

Thanks for the great theme. Just purchased it and it works beautifully for our cafe website.

Just wondering can we choose to show more than 12 gallery items? We are using the gallery to showcase our vintage fine bone china for sale and would like to list more than 12.

Default-user

Also another issue – the chosen Google fonts worked on non-mobile devices only. So far most themes I’ve gotten could get the Google fonts to work on both mobile and non-mobile devices. Could you advise on this? Thanks!

Default-user

Hi trying to get into your support forums at www.redfactory.nl, but my purchase code does not work.

redfactory

Hi,

Did you get the purchase code as shown in the following image? http://www.redfactory.nl/themes/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/purchasecode.png

If it still doesn’t work, could you email us the purchase code so we can have a look?

To get more then 12 items in the gallery, open the template-content/content-trcGalleryPage.php file in the theme folder and replace the $posts_per_page variable on line #23 with ‘16’ or any other number you’d like.

Regarding the google font; this is a weird issue indeed. If you get access to our support forum, could you please open a ticket there? Our developer will be able to help you out with this :)

Hope this helps!

Thanks! I’m in your support forums now.

redfactory

Hi,

Did you find the purchase code like this?

http://www.redfactory.nl/themes/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/purchasecode.png

Sometimes it takes a bit for the purchase code to work properly. Could you maybe try again in let’s say an hour?

In the meantime I’ll send you the demo content via email :)

Hi,

I have inherited a site using this theme. I am using Woocommerce too and your customSubmit function is causing problems.

e('input[type="submit"]').customSubmit();

It makes the input submit actions useless and turns them into divs?

Add something here and try clicking update cart or proceed to cart on the cart page.

redfactory

Hi,

Could you ask the original buyer to give you the purchase code of the theme which can be found here: http://www.redfactory.nl/themes/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/purchasecode.png

This way you can post on our support forum. Our developer will be able to help you out with this :)

please let me know

thank you!

redfactory

Hi,

Sorry, we don’t support that at the moment. You’re actually the first to ask about it.

That being said, we’ve recently launched Theme Customizers to take on customization jobs from our buyers. If you want we can do this work for you. If you’re interested, check out the website: http://www.themecustomizers.com/

Hi, I bought the Restaurant theme a while ago and I’m interested in buying the Classic Edition. Does this version allows integration with the cart66 plugin for deliveries and Take away as well or does it require custom coding?

Thanks for letting me know.

Marc

redfactory

Hi Marc,

The Classic Edition doesn’t support cart 66 I’m afraid, so you’ll need to do some custom coding for this. However, we’ve recently launched Theme Customizers to take on customization jobs from our buyers. If you want we can do this work for you. If you’re interested, check out this website: http://www.themecustomizers.com/

Cheers :)

Default-user

Hi Mate, Thanks for the reply. One more question, with a good coder would it be possible to integrate woocommerce with the classic edition?

redfactory

Hi,

Yes, with a good coder anything is possible :)

But now that I think of it; We’re currently working on a company theme with WooCommerce integration. Once that is done it wouldn’t be too difficult to implement it in The Restaurant Classic Edition as well. I can’t give you a timeframe on this right now, but we might just put it in the next update :) How long do you have until you decide on which theme you’ll use?

Cheers!

Default-user

Hi, I need to give a quote by next Wednesday. what I like with the classic edition, it’s the responsiveness of the theme, which the other version doesn’t have.

Hello! Before I buy. I need to make a kind of portal where you reach different pages. Each of these pages should be like a home, with its own menu, several galleries and sections. This theme allows? I need it to be suffciently flexible. Thank you very much!

redfactory

Hi,

You can make as many pages like the frontpage as you’d like :) So if I understand correctly this should not be a problem with our theme.

Cheers!

I’m thinking of buying this theme. Just one question: Is it hard to add so that you can click on the picture in the menu to make it larger (like you have in “the restaurant” theme? What would be neccessary to do?

redfactory

Hi,

You’d need to make some changes in the code, but it’s not a lot of work :) If you are familiar with php and html then it shouldn’t be a problem!

Cheers!

can you add a shopping cart to sell wine on The Restaurant: Classic Edition

redfactory

Hi,

This theme doesn’t have support for WooCommerce yet, but it might be included in a future update :) Is this a must-have feature for you?

Cheers!

Default-user

I hope it does soon. I went ahead and bought the template since I did not hear back and support was not there. Even after signing up still could not find an answer. It is a restaurant menu, they have orders, take out, wine to sell. Please provide anything as soon as you can. Thank you. Very much needed for online wine sales.

Hi,

Did you change anything in the code or are you using a plugin? It seems like the site is constantly reloading itself. This is not something that we’ve build into the theme.

Hi, great theme – but there’s a bug on Safari & IE (not on Chrome or Firefox) where the menu/navigation markers are offset and doesn’t look right.

The bug is obvious on your live demo too.

Any chance of a fix? I assume it’s just a bit of CSS that needs tweaking.

redfactory

Hi,

Thank you for the feedback! I can’t believe we missed this! I’ll report this and make sure it’s in the next update :)

Cheers!

Default-user

thanks, but if you do fix – any chance of letting us know which bit of CSS is updated, I’ve got this installed for a client (they bought it), but don’t want to install full updates if you see what I mean.

redfactory

Hi,

Open the style.css file in the theme folder and add this to the very bottom of the file:

#headerMenu > div > ul > li > .arrow-container {
    position: relative;
    width: 100%;
}
#headerMenu > div > ul > li .arrow {
  width: 100%;
  height: 9px;
  display: inline-block;
  background: url('images/menu-arrow.png') 50% 0% no-repeat;
  position: absolute;
  margin: 0;
  bottom: -8px;
  left: 0px;
  z-index: 9000;
}

Cheers :)

Thank you, works perfectly on my site now!

Hi RedFactory, I like your new theme and judging by the comment that you will be adding woo commerce compatibility I am going to buy this theme, do you know approximately how long the woo commerce compatibility update will be?

Thanking you in advance Mr Website

redfactory

Hi Mr Website,

I’m not quite sure how long this will take. We’re working on adding WooCommerce to a couple of new themes at the moment. After those are done adding WooCommerce to this theme should be quite easy. I’ll keep you posted on the progress :)

Cheers!

mrwebsite

Thanks for your response, I have now purchased the classic restaurant theme, I am also interested in the beauty salon theme for one of my clients is this one of the themes that you are adding woo commerce to? Thanks again, Cheers

redfactory

Yes this is indeed one of the themes we want to add WooCommerce to. Nothing is sure yet, but we’ll keep you posted :)

Cheers!
