Everything works fine, except that the menu card shows all categories and items in only the left column, the right column in empty… (http://oceanviewtakeaway.com.au/menucard/)

Also, I tried to rearrange the menu categories by dragging and dropping, but when I hit the save button, they don’t get saved..

Hi there,

You say that there are 4 different base colour versions you can choose from, and that you can alter the colour of any aspect of the site.

Is there any chance that we can see these other colour versions (either as PSD or live site)? I am particularly interested in the grey version.

Hi,

Actually you can choose any color you want :) We had four presets in an old verison of the theme, but now you can use the color picker to select whatever you like.

How can i break menu into parts Like Lunch, Breakfast, Specials and things like that i want to create unique menus for each section not make it slide left & right thanks

We cannot get the slider or menucard to function properly on our site (http://www.dragosrestaurant.com/). We have disabled the slider for the time being, but we’re wondering if there’s any kind of troubleshooting guide or if this has happened before to other sites. We would really like to get the menucard working ASAP since that’s how we list our menu items. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, First off I must congratulate you guys in a very nice theme. I would like to know if your site will work if I add Qtranslate. I need to have the site in 3 different languages for all content (menus, text, images, banners etc..).

Yes it works with Qtranslate, but I’d recommend using WPML instead. They both work just fine, but we’ve worked quite a bit with WPML and we like it a lot. Maybe it’s just a matter of taste ;)

Sorry, I’m unable to log onto the support page you have set up.

I’ve been using your great theme on a website for over a year now, but today I noticed the menus and the slider aren’t working. I think it may be a javascript issue but I’m not sure where to start to troubleshoot it.

Could you please disable that plugin? Untlill they release an update for WordPress 3.5 I’d leave it off since it breaks WordPress. Luckily my theme has nothing to do with it. Other users on our forum had exactly the same issue, that’s why I know ;)

Hi Alax,

Best would be to upload the theme zip under “Appearance -> Themes -> Upload”. That way you don’t have to use ftp ;)

when someone clicks on my website using a smart phone or device from a google search it takes them to my menu page, at the bottom of the screen it says view full site/ proudly powered by wordpress. how can i get them to go direct to the index page not the menu page?? I also dont want them to see powered by wordpress, my site is self hosted how can i get rid of this.

Hi, i want to purchase this theme for eCommerce uses, but want to make sure a couple of things.

1) Can we display the Take Away menu same as in the demo, by using Cart66 lite version (the free one).

2) Do this theme has an Ajax Add to Cart notifications function .(when an item is added to cart).

Yes it’s compatible with the lite version as well, and you can set it up just like the demo :) I don’t think the cart66 plugin supports ajax add-to-cart functionality, so the theme doesn’t support it as well I’m afraid.

Hi,

There’s really nothing in the theme that makes this happen. What you can do though, is installing the Yoast SEO plugin: http://yoast.com/wordpress/seo/ That will give you some controll over what shows up on google.

Hello, Just as jesspetrella described, suddenly last week for no apparent reason, and with no changes or updates made immediately prior to this problem, the slider and menus on our website www.ShrimpGalley.com were gone. Purely on a hunch, I disabled Jetpack (which had worked with this site since day one with no problems), and our sliders and menu are now working again. I would like to continue to use Jetpack, but can’t. One clue – after the site had this problem, I immediately made a backup of it, but the backup was unable to read from the folder Stats>Logs. (That’s what gave me the idea to disable Jetpack, since Jetpack keeps stats.) Any ideas as to the problem? I am running The Restaurant v4.1 Do I need to update to v4.2 ? Can you point me to documentation regarding the best way to update? Thanks! – Paul

It seems that with the new version of WordPress, jetpack and gravatar are suddenly having problems. I’ll look into it, but I suspect they’re not yet updated for the latest version of WordPress.

For now I’d advice not to use those plugins untill there’s a fix.

I was under the impression it came with the images and we then simply replaced those images with our own. Your blog/portfolio just continues to add page numbers. One of my clients is up to three lines of page numbers. We have been told that this issue would be corrected with no fix in sight. Is this going to be fixed? It is unbelievable that a Wordpress theme developer creates a theme that does not properly support multiple blog pages. Having multiple rows of page numbers is not acceptable.

If you don’t know what I am referring to….just go to the following link and scroll to the bottom of the page. There are 3 lines of page numbers!!!
