You could try the Postmash plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/postmash/

It has worked for us in the past so it’s worth a try. It will allow you to reorder posts in any order you want.

Any chance of making this responsive? I’ve looked over the Classic edition of this theme, however, that one is not e-commerce.

This theme is a mess. Comments missing from pages, homepage not flexible at all, ugly bloated code, weak documentation. Really regret the purchase.

Sorry to hear you have a bad experience. We left out the comments on pages on purpose, since pages are ment to be static content. You can actually put it in quite easily if you want.

Also, you can populate the frontpage with three widget areas. The first one has the banners on top of it, and can handle up to three widgets. The second one doesn’t have the banners and can handle as much widgets as you want. And there’s the footer widget area that can handle up to four widgets. You can basicly use any widget you want.

I hope this clears it up a bit. If you have any questions, let me know :)

You should never disable functionality like comments within a theme if it can be turned off using settings in the WP admin. That’s a bad assumption that pages are meant to be static and not commented on.

Hi just a couple of questions really

when you checkout can you have an option to pay on delivery and also I need to ask them do they want it delivered or will they collect – with a discount for collection – is this possible at all

Also can you alter the email template so that when it is sent it is very narrow width to allow printing on a PDQ machine

Hi Paul,

Yes, in the Cart66 plugin you can create as many shipping options as you like. You can also create shipping option called “Collection” and charge nothing for it.

Regarding the email template, you can customize it in the backend. If I’m not mistaken the default email layout of the Contact Form 7 plugin is plain text, so I guess that will fit just nicely :)

Hi,

Yes you’ll need to remove the twitter widget from the page. Twitter recently changed their service so it becomes very difficult to easily support twitter widgets in a theme. The best you can do is to create a text widget, and include the twitter widget from twitter itself. They’ll provide you with the code that you must copy/paste.

Hi i have had this theme for a while now and i like it. The only issue i am having is the in the mobile department. have any of the new updates made it more responsive for mobile users? are you working on mobile? or do you have any suggestions to make this theme more mobile friendly for my customers?

Hi, after installing the full version of cart66 I found the checkout page not working properly anymore. I then asked assistance to the Cart66 guys and found out with them that the template may have some issues. Please, visit the http://ordina.misterchefsrl.com/store/checkout/ link (you will see that the template loses the font and does not show the delivery address) and check for yorself. Hope you will help me! Thanks.

For the dummy content, please make sure you unpack the downloaded .zip file first. You need to upload the .xml file inside it. Also make sure you have the theme installed first before uploading the dummy content.

Hmm, could it be that the upload folder isn’t writable yet? That’s a common problem when importing images with the dummy content. Check the following WordPress article for more details: http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions#Using_an_FTP_Client

I think this is probably due to the new WordPress version. We’ve updated the theme (v4.6) to take care of this problem. You can also use the solution that we’ve posted on our support forum here: http://support.redfactory.nl/forums/topic/cart66-checkout-page/#post-2175 if you don’t want to update the whole theme.
