This theme has bugs with Chrome and Safari. The sliders are displayed only with Firefox.

I also have a bug with your custom widget area and the menu is not well displayed…

I never see so many bugs on a theme !

Do you maybe have a link for me so I can take a look? We’ve tested this theme a lot, and we also have a lot of sales. It’s very unlikely that it just doesn’t work in Chrome or Safari. It could be that something isn’t set up correctly in the theme settings. If you give me a link I’ll see what I can do to help you :)

The main problem is when you change something, for example a category name, it tooks several minutes before the website is “updated”. I just change a post (=menu) and modifications are not yet displayed…

why the google map widget on footer only displays US address. I am trying to use this address Hastings Rd? Greater London BR2, UK but its not working pls help

It should be able to display any adres, not only from the US. Can you try and input on google maps itself? It chould be that the adres needs to be a bit more specific or be written in a different way.

I’ve just tried it in google maps, and it says this is the correct adres: Hastings Rd, Bromley, Greater London BR2, UK

This adres works when I use it in our demo :)

Hello Maybe I am doing something wrong but

1. I wanted to buy fully responsive theme. 2. I thought I am buying a theme and won’t have to worry about playing with widgets and setting up front page and other pages. 3. Theme to me means that is a theme where I just replace text and images and such… :( 4. Do you have something like dummy data where you import data and pictures and all I will have to worry is replace it with my data.

1) I’m sorry but this theme isn’t responsive 2) If you use a WordPress theme you always have to set up widgets since they can’t be imported. It’s also better to set it up yourself since it will match your website a lot more that way. 3) I can understand why you would think that, but a theme simply means that it’s a template for your website. You still have to set up the content yourself. However, we do offer our demo content for download on our support forum: http://support.redfactory.nl. That way you can just replace our content with your own.

Take your time with WordPress and it will pay itself back later on :)

is it possible for the takeway menu to be a sliding menu just the the original menu?

and also

is it possible to add items to cart without redirecting for checkout every time you add one item?

Yes that’s very much possible. Actually, the normal menucard and the take away menucard are exactly the same, only the take-away uses only two categories ;)

I don’t think the cart66 plugin supports that I’m afraid. You could check with the creators of the plugin, but I haven’t seen the option in our admin yet.

Hello, This might be a loaded question but I really want clarity before I purcahse another theme. I’m going to be creating a website for a resturant owner who knows almost nothing about wordpress. We literally would want the menu to look exactly like your take out menu, color, button design, and cart option just like you have on the take out menu. I know how to use cart 66 but what i’ve noticed with a lot of themes that I’ve attempted to create with it that the buttons come out completely different from what I’m seeing on the preview. So my question is are these buttons options available pre-formatted in your theme or is this something that will have to be created by me. Also I want the owner to be able to add products without my help so I want to know is it as simple as creating a product, adding description and shortcode for cart66 or is it much more tricky like some I’ve seen have been. I know it’s a loaded question but I really want to make sure of this before purchasing. I don’t want to waste another 45 on something my client won’t be able to use.

Yes everything is already in place. You can set up your cart66 items as usual and link them with the menucard items with a simple dropdown for each item. That way the cart button and price will be added automaticly :)

Hi redfactory, I’d like to thank you for an amazing theme first of all.

I am currently facing a problem where my slider and some items in my footer (google maps widget and twitter widget) disappear as soon as I activate Cartlite66. When I disable the plugin, the slider and items come back.

What should I do ?

Any Chance this theme will be responsive in the futurs?? Since most people now use a mobile device to look for a place to eat I think it would be necessary? Not being responsive is the only reason I have not purchased this theme today

Any chance on an ETA on making this theme responsive? Thanks for the suggestion and link but the theme does not work for us no one here liked the layout. But we do like The Restaurant I do have one more pre purchase question, is your home page lay’d out with widgets? If so can we use it without the widgets? Our concern is that H2 and H1 headers make wordpress site SEO friendly would the widgets take away from this?

Hi,

Yes the frontpage is indeed layed out with widgets, but you don’t need to use them if you don’t want to :) You can also just use a normal page for your frontpage. I don’t think the widgets will take away from the SEO friendliness. The headers of the widgets are H3, so they would only add to the SEO of your website, if used correctly.

Regarding the update; I can’t give you an exact date. I’m working on it right now, but it’s a heap of work and I don’t want to rush it.

I’ll let everyone know when it’s ready :)

Could it be that you altered the code of the theme in some way? I suspect that there’s something wrong in the jquery.php file in the theme folder. Can you check if you changed something there? If not, please let me know!

I was wondering what the dimensions are for the logo? Are you able to use a logo of any size or does it have to be exact dimensions?

Hi Nikolas,

Currently the space for the logo is 80px by 450px. Any logo within those dimensions will fit nicely. If you want a bigger logo you can easily achieve this by doing a couple small css changes. I’ve already given these instructions to other buyers as well on our support forum :)
