Hello,

The testimonial shortcode was built with and image in mind, if you don’t use one, a small blank square will remain on page. Maybe you can use a dummy instead for similar scenarios.

Why does my site always fail to load properly, its always stuck on load and saying things at the bottom of the browser, waiting for youtube.com or waiting for cache.com or something like that and you have to refresh it. I don’t even have anything youtube on my site.

A webpage test on http://www.webpagetest.org/ should tell you more about what is your site loading and where is that coming from. The actual theme shouldn’t slow down your site.

There’s no built-in mega menu option in the current version. We haven’t tested with the latest version but uber menu should work with The Retailer.

Hi. I’m unable to separate paragraphs. On every page or within every text block/column, the first time I try to make a new paragraph, it doesn’t allow me to add a space between the paragraphs.

What do I need to update to fix this?!

This is how my paragraphs look:

Hi Is there any way to have the portfolio images shows as a slider vs have it just as a long list? (i have 50 pictures per portfolio filter and the page looks bad just having them as a list) Thanks for this great theme!

There’s no slider option for the portfolio. You can user the Slider Revolution plugins but I guess that won’t be convenient in your case since you have so many images, you would still have to manually create the sliders.

Maybe the built-in WordPress gallery functionality could help you: http://theretailer.getbowtied.com/demo/gallery-in-a-page/ It’s not a slider, but it does look great when you have lots of images.

Amazing theme – used it on 2 projects so far!

Guys there is an update out for WooCommerce 2.1.0 – do you know when you’ll be releasing an update to the Retailer theme for this update?

BTW – I did update my local copy and the woocommerce update messed quite a few things up, could not add items to cart, logout wasn’t working just to name two. Thanks

That’s available only if you enable the sidebar on the shop: http://theretailer.getbowtied.com/demo/shop/?product_listing_sidebar=yes otherwise the products will be displayed on 4 columns. There’s no option for 3 without the sidebar.

Hi, on the whole a really great theme, and I’ve used many.

A couple of quick bug reports

1) When adding a link into ‘Theme Options > Footer > Footer Copyright Text’ it goes in okay, but after re-saving other options it screws up the link in the footer.

2) After changing the colours in theme options, the bars on the product ratings remain the default brown.

Ah, I just saw the same issue reported about the footer link. @blieben you just have to re-save it again correctly after saving other options. Obviously not ideal, but a work around until it’s fixed in an update.

No, that message is for those who made changes directly in the theme files, such as custom coding. Is this the first time updating?
