Good day, I bought a theme, very very best. Prompt on my page blocks, blocks are displayed in the “off” position. And I need to take the unit home page Our ??Clients. How do I do this?

themeboutique

Hi mrbogdan,

ThemeTastic uses the Context module for block management, found at Structure > Blocks. Here you can manage block templates for the blog, portfolio, homepages, etc. I hope this points you in the right direction, let me know if you have any questions! :)

I turned off all the blocks (have been disabled after the installation, I have not changed anything). Although the site is running. T.e.sli walk into blocks – all the blocks at the bottom of the list. http://td-agrosistema.ru/

Give your e-mail I am give the username and password will see.

Hi mrbogdan,

Navigate to Structure > Context in the Drupal admin. Here, you can edit the “homepage_layout_1” context to modify the homepage.

If you really want me to login and take a look, you can e-mail a username and password through my author profile page, although from what I’ve seen nothing is broken or malfunctioning.

You’ll just need to disable/manage block templates at Structure > Context instead of at Structure > Blocks.

Thanks changed through context. But why so complicated) Thanks for your help.

themeboutique

Hi mrbogdan,

A lot of blocks are re-used in different templates on the theme. For example, the tags block or popular posts block appears in both the sidebars and in the footer.

Context lets us reuse these blocks and place them in different regions for different templates—using the “traditional” block management system, we would need to create two separate popular posts blocks and two seperate “tag cloud” blocks (one for the footer, one for the sidebar). Does that make sense?

With context, we can use only 1 block and place that block in as many different regions as we want. On top of that, context is also used to set the “active trail” for pages that don’t exist in the menu.

In summary: ThemeTastic has a lot of templates, three different homepages, many views/blocks and context makes managing all of these templates more organized. :)

I find it interesting your subject but I would like to ask some questions. You can see the documentation for how to program your theme? I would like to do a column on the right with banner advertising, you can make your theme? I await your response. thanks

themeboutique

Hi abrando,

If you would like to see the documentation, please send me an e-mail through my author profile page. Regarding a banner on the right hand side, this will be very easy to do with ThemeTastic. :)

If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!

This can be compatible with mobile phones, tablet PCs and general computer?

themeboutique

Hi tjm917,

ThemeTastic is fully responsive, meaning the design will adjust to the screen size of the device you are using. ThemeTastic will work on all of the devices you mentioned. :)

Great, thank you, I’m interested in buying this. And then ask, is not able to add this http://ppt.cc/tRZa in homepage

themeboutique

Hi tjm917,

Adding a form to the homepage will be very easy to do with Drupal. If you end up buying the theme, that would be a great question to post on our support forum so we can post instructions for you.

Overall, this a really simple task that should only take a few clicks to accomplish.

http://td-agrosistema.ru/ here is my website. tell me how to translate into Russian “Learn More +” all files I’ve updated the theme on Russian but not displayed. if translated through configuration-translation, then there can not be used tags in the translation.
themeboutique

Hi mrbogdan,

Thanks for pointing this out. Currently, that text is rendered in a view. We could use the PHP Filter module in Drupal core and translate this text directly in the View, but using a template file instead will be a cleaner solution.

Could you contact me via my author profile page so I can send you a new template file? All you will need to do is drop the new file in your themetastic/tpl/views folder, clear your Drupal cache, and the “Learn More +” text will then translate. :)

Hi, the item details page states “Responsive Lightbox Plugin” – I can not find it and it seems not to be mentioned in the docs. I want to include a lightbox – if lightbox support is in the box I would like to use it instead of any other solution. Can you guide me to the plugin?

themeboutique

Hi Murando,

ThemeTastic comes with a license for the FancyBox 2 plugin. This plugin is already integrated into the portfolio content type, so for portfolio nodes, no code is required on your part (you just need to check the “Toggle Fancybox” option when editing the node).

Many of the portfolio items in the demo content already use this feature if you wanted to refer to the live demo for an example (ie. the “Liesure Golfing” item has both a link and lightbox icon on hover).

If you need the Lightbox for other uses such as inline content, you can also use the examples found here to get started. The FancyBox documentation will have many more options not found in the demo if you need to expand the functionality to suit your needs. :)

I hope this points you in the right direction, if you have any questions, I’m here to help!

You can change the highlight color of the item and not just the 5 proposed in the demo?

themeboutique

Hi abrando,

There is no theme setting for a custom color, however adding an extra stylesheet is very easy.

Each color scheme, for example, has a corresponding CSS file (like blue.css). All you would need to do is make a copy of this file, name the file “mycolor.css”, and then add this file to the list of colors on the theme settings.

Overall, the process only takes a couple of minutes. :) If needed, I’d be happy to post step by step instructions for you on the support forum as well. Let me know if you have any questions!

Hi, with your theme IMCE in FCKeditor doesn’t select file, why? there is a solution or another module to do that? Thanks

themeboutique

Hi uniquemultimedia,

This is a known issue related to the version of jQuery the theme uses, I have a very easy fix available.

Could you contact me via my author profile page so I can send you an updated version of the theme’s template.php file?

i purchased your theme, my requirement is, home example 3 slider as header and remaining blocks from home example 1. could you help me out..

themeboutique

Hi arunkab,

This should be relatively easy and take only a few minutes to accomplish with the Context module, found at Structure > Context.

If you modify the “homepage layout 1” context, you can replace the slider block on this page with the one found on homepage layout 3. After you save your changes, everything should display as you describe. :)

If you have any questions or run into problems, I’m here to help!

This is a great looking theme. Is it W3C compliant? I need to make sure it validates Thanks

themeboutique

Hi shrcc,

There are a few errors thrown by the W3C validator, but nothing too serious.

I’m prepping an update for next week that will include a new page builder, version 4 of the Revolution Slider, and remove dependency on the Context module. I could easily sneak in some changes to the template files to ensure W3C compliancy in the same update. :)

Default-user

Thanks that would be wonderful. I need it to be W3C compliant before I get started. I will purchase the theme next week then :)

Another question sorry. Does the theme download include sample content? Thanks :)

themeboutique

Hi shrcc,

The theme comes with two installation options, one of which includes sample content. After installing Drupal, importing the sample content only takes a couple of clicks.

Hi, How did you go with the new release? Will it be w3c compliant? Thanks :)

themeboutique

Hi shrcc,

The update is almost ready, I hope to have it submitted to ThemeForest before the end of the week (maybe even later today). A few minor changes to template files for W3C will be included. ;)

Can’t wait!! Thanks :)

Can you mix and match the front page elements or is it just the choices of the 3 different homepages?

themeboutique

Hi shrcc,

The front page elements can be arranged in any way you would like, they are simply blocks inside of regions in Drupal.

Right now, ThemeTastic uses the Context module to generate the homepage templates so there are many different configuration options for the homepage (or any page on the site, for that matter).

Mixing/matching the homepage elements is very easy. :)

Thanks I have purchased the theme now. Any word yet on when the update will be out? Thanks

themeboutique

Hi shrcc,

Very soon, it’s honestly just a couple of very minor changes to a some template files to ensure W3C is reading the document as HTML5.

I’ve been trying to sneak a few other additions into the update (a much better version of the Revolution Slider module, a page builder module, removing Context dependency) in hopes that I could include them all in one update but it’s looking like that won’t get done for a few days.

Could you contact me through my author profile page so I have access to an e-mail address to send the updated template files? I’ll get this taken care of for you so you don’t have to wait around for the rest of the updates. ;)

themeboutique

HI again,

I hope you read this comment! For some reason both of my e-mail addresses are getting rejected by your mailserver, so I’ve been unable to send the updates.

I’ve logged on through a proxy and tried as well thinking my IP address might be the problem, but had no luck there either.

Is there any chance you could open a thread on our support forum so I can just upload the zip for you to download?

Hi,

We’re about to purchase the theme yet we have one issue with it; the slider’s height. We’d like to show some more of the content, to hint visitors that there is info below the huge image of the slider, on lower resolutions.

Can we alter the height of the slider on the home page?

themeboutique

Hi llmatthijs,

Sure, you can easily set any width\height that you want for the sliders (on the homepage or any other page) through our Revolution Slider module (and modifying one line of CSS).

The slider also has a “fullscreen” option, so if you needed the slider to automatically adjust to the full height of the page (no matter what resolution) this feature is available as well.

Should you buy the theme and run into any issues, just let me know, I’d be happy to provide instructions for increasing the slider height. :)

we never got the email with the password… is it possible to send it again? thanks

themeboutique

Hi LoukiaL,

Have you checked your spam folder? You could also try resetting your password.

Otherwise, I’ll need to manually change/send you a new password, Drupal sends out a one-time login so if the mail isn’t in your spam box there is no way to “resend” without installing some extra modules.

Could you send me a message through my author profile page so I can e-mail you a new password in private? I apologize for the inconvenience!

Hi. Please can you tell me where to change the (meta) page titles? For example, on the Contact page, the title displayed on the browser tab is Contact | Themetastic and I would like it to be Contact Us | MySiteName.

Thank you

I realised that the import of demo data caused the title to use “Themetastic”. I’ve amended it back to the correct title and that is all I needed.
