Hi there, just a quick question on the multilingual stuff. How do I set this up? Do I have to use a plugin? Will it work with the mqTranslate plugin?

Hi,

it should work with qTranslate and each plugin that uses the .po/.mo files. You can use their documentations to see how it is set up. We included a quick how to for the Codestyling Localization plugin in the documentation.

Hello, I add a plugin to deer Defer parsing of JavaScript. Now i have this message : “The Google Maps API server rejected your request. The ‘sensor’ parameter specified in the request must be set to either ‘true’ or ‘false’”. What is wrong ? Thank you for your help.

I’ve purchased the theme and just got a quick Q, how do you make the font bigger?

I know how to change the font type, but not size.

Hi,

thanks for your purchase.

You will need to modify the css for this in the themes stylesheet.

If its just the body font you want to adjust, checkout the style.css and look for the body tag in the first couple of lines.

Here is some general information about how to easily find the style you need to edit for a particular element:

Easiest way to get the CSS attributes to change is to use Chrome Inspector or Firebug/Firefox and right click on the element you want to change, “Inspect Element”, then maybe select a parent/child element in the markup shown (the corresponding element on the page will be highlighted), then copy the CSS to adapt to your needs.

Now paste this CSS in the Custom CSS box of the Layout Tab in our Theme Options.

2. Upload the image via the wordpress media uploader and copy its URL
3. Add img to widget:

Hello,

I’ve just purchased this good looking theme but i can’t find the .mo file which i need for the translation. When i follow the manual, i go to localization, then i see the theme, but at the right side there are no language options. Also i can not add a new language too. When i look at the plugins there is see the language and also the option tot add an new languague, but at the theme there only is a lot of URL domains.

Can you please help me?

Did you install the code styling localization plugin? When you follow the step by step instructions, there should be an option to “rescan” the theme files which essentially generates .mo files :)

Thanks, i will try this. Also yesterday i’ve sent you a ticket with the next question:

I cannot change the color of Theme Main Highlight Color. When i change this in the admin, nothing happened. It still stays green. Also the same problem with colors of for example a text separator which i can add with the visual composer. It does not work.

Can you help me with this problem?

the highlight color change works just fine with the latest theme version on our test system: http://themepunch.com/themetastic_test/

The separators from visual composer cannot be changed in color via the options.

Use this css in the theme options custom css box:
.vc_separator .vc_sep_holder .vc_sep_line { border-top: 1px solid #e5e5e5 !important; }

the theme update yesterday included a newer visual composer version. When did you purchase the theme?

This sounds more like a wordpress issue (javascript issue in the backend, maybe caused by other plugins)

Hello, I just updated to the newest version of WP and your theme. All my theme options reset, and I am now getting the following errors whenever I try to update the theme’s options. In addition, JS Composer did not update, still showing it’s on an older version. I tried deativating/reactivating it and that did not work.

Okay never mind on the error messages, it was a write permission error on the style.css. But how do I get Visual Composer to update (uploaded files through FTP)?

You will need to manually update the visual composer via ftp if you did not purchase a license separately from the plugin author.

We are including new visual composer versions in every theme update.

Quick question : the breadcrumb always shows “Home + / Name of the subpage”, while if the page belongs to a menu item it should read “Menu Item Name / Name of the subpage”. Can you tell me how to fix this and how to translate the “Home” term. Thanks !

The “home” term can either be translated via localizing the theme (see docs) or via editing this file:
functions/theme_breadcrumbs.php

All other breadcrumb related mods can also be done in this file :)

Thank you for this nice theme, but there is something wrong with the visual composer. It is not fully functional. I checked the plugins and WPBakery Visual Composer needs to be updated but every time I try it gives me an error message “An error occurred while updating WPBakery Visual Composer: Update package not available.”

I have updated to the current version of Themetastic and this problem has not gone away. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!

The visual composer is fully functional. The automatic plugin update of the visual composer is only available if you purchased a separate plugin license (this is the case for all themes using this plugin).

You can dismiss the notice on top and it will not appear again.

Thank you for the response. But, the composer is not working the way it should. I bought 2 licenses for this theme, on one website it works perfectly. On the other it does not. The website with the older version of the plugin seems to have less options I assume that’s because it’s not updated.

The WPBakery Visual Composer plugin for one site is Version 4.1.3.1 (this one works great) while on the other it’s Version 3.6.13 (this one is much harder to work with and does not have the same capabilities). I have tried updating Version 3.6.13 to Version 4.1.3.1 but that is when I get an error message. I assumed when I uploaded the most current version of your theme to the website that the plugin would also update but it did not.

Help on this issue is appreciated. Thanks.
