Hi,
it’s because you have obsolete PHP version on your server.
Anyway, I can see, you’ve ordered installation service, so I’m already taking care of this, don’t worry.

Which it is the safest way to update Time theme from 2.3. to 3.3.2.?

Thanks!

kubasto

Hi,
remove old theme folder and upload a new one. If you didn’t make any theme files modifications before, you should be fine. In most cases there should be no problems at all. If you have any, please let me know. Backup is always a good idea, though.

Hi,
can I see your site, please? If you prefer, you can contact me directly using contact form on my profile page.

Hi there, I just updated to the newest version of time theme (Version: 3.3.2) but now the classic slider doesn’t work anymore. Instead of sliding, it gives me all the pictures i posted in the slider. This is my site: http://www.michaelminneboo.nl/

What has changed in the new version of the theme? What can I do to fix this? I’m running wordpress 4.2.2 (it was automatically updated because of security reasons)

Thanx! Cheers, Michael

Hi,
you can grant me an access to your admin area, so I could take a look at this. You can contact me directly using contact form on my profile page.

Hi I fixed it. Was too tired last night to figure it out, but I woke up with the solution this morning. There were just some short codes missing. Sorry for the inconvience.

Good Morning. I’m having issues with recent posts showing on the home page. It shows on some browsers and not others. And doesn’t show on any mobile phones.

Here’s my site – thejourneyjunkie.com

My last 2 recent posts were: A Bali Experience & How to Use a Strap. Please let me know how I can fix this.

Thanks!

I checked the settings, there’s no password and it’s labeled as public. Any other idea? It’s showing in Internet Explorer, which yes I’m logged into, and not showing on Google Chrome or my iPhone.

kubasto

Please check on other machine/network. Theme doesn’t affect posts visibility, just displays what gets form WordPress, that’s why i would rather suspect a plugin. If you still can’t solve it, you can grant me an access to your admin area, so I could take a look at this. You can contact me directly using contact form on my profile page.

Hi. I figured it out. The WP3 Plugin needed to be cleared from within. Thank you!

Hi Kubasto, I see your answer to adaki on theme update to newer version, but wonder. Couldn’t I just FTP to current theme folder and change name to “time-old” then add new zip file with auto install. This will allow old theme and new them to be present and interchangeable, yes? Then once seeing all is well, delete old folder? This seems even safer than deleting folder first. Is there anything I’m missing here?

kubasto

Hi,
if you want to keep old version, and test new, it’s better to upload the new one by FTP as well. So change old folder name by FTP, and upload new folder also by FTP, not by WordPress installer, as you would have a phase with some default theme activated in the meantime.
Cheers

OK Thanks!

Everything was flawless, didn’t even bother testing I was confident enough. Thanks, and now looking at your themes for next project. - Elad

Hi Kubasto,

When I use this shortcode on a page:

[section_posts cat=”10” posts_per_page=”10”]

There’s no pagination.

What am I doing wrong?

Great theme by the way!

regards,

Marco

kubasto

Hi,
the “posts_per_page” parameter may be misleading, but it’s name is from WordPress. Anyway, it means how many posts will be displayed, but it doesn’t support pagination.

Ok. Is there another way to create a page that shows posts from a certain category WITH pagination?

kubasto

You can use a category page. If you don’t know how, you can add category page to menu in Appearance / Menus.

Found bugs in xx_XX.po on line 69 and 1554.

What software do you use for editing? I’ve checked with POEdit and it’s fine.

proadmin76

POEdit OS X. Long lines where quoted wrongly. I corrected them with TextMate.

kubasto

I think it’s a matter of the editing software. Thanks for reporting.

I also have a needed feature request. The “Time | Page” widget needs to get WPML aware with a language selector, just as the Multilingual Text widget.

This request also goes for some other Time Widgets.

kubasto

I’m glad it’s OK now, thanks for sharing. I’ll make some extra tests to see what could go wrong.

Confirmed. I talked to WPML support. It’s a bug in WPML version 3.2 and they also recommended installing the WPML Widgets plugin I mentioned previously :)

kubasto

Yes. Thank you.
