Hi,

I am noticing a problem with the contact form. If you include a period ”.” in the message box, you get an error alert saying that “The message field is mandatory.” Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Hey bitshok, I’ve ran into an issue with the theme’s form. Particularly the contact form doesn’t actually submit anything, no matter the post action or post method. Changing the code entirely to be a generic form with generic input doesn’t work at all ether. Generic elements on a page without the theme works just fine.

Love the theme by the way, just finding this issue to make it pretty much useless in my case,

Hello ZenBamboo, thank you for purchasing. I have just tested the contact form and it works. Did you change the ”$to” variable in mail.php file to your email address? If you changed the email address and it still doesn’t work send me an email so we can find and fix the problem.

I was using the contact form as an example, the submit button simply won’t post any data to a new page – anywhere. This doesn’t work the unedited version of the theme either. Should I email the code as an example?

I have identified the source of your issue. I use Ajax for form data processing and it was preventing the default behavior of form data submitting so it was a JavaScript problem and it is now fixed, I have updated the files. Just download them again (this won’t cost you anything).

I’m a little new to the themeforest community, but I was actually having the same problem Zen Bamboo discussed on even external buttons copied onto any page with the theme. I understand you have narrowed this down to a javascript issue, since I am 95% done implementing the website i was wondering what files need to be replaced to correct this issue.

Hi, if you bought the template simply download it again and replace the old script.js with the one you have downloaded.

Same person as above, different account (one i purchased with). I am specifically having trouble with Paypal “Add to Cart” buttons working within the template. I have now managed to get the “buy it now” button working with the new script.js file… i have also separately tested the add to cart button outside the theme and it is working fine. Could this problem be resolved via another JS update?
