Hi Salman,

I love the template and so glad to have found you here! What sophisticated theme you made! I only have one itsy bitsy problem with it though. My blog posts are not displaying the date and time they were published either on the homepage or when you click the posts itself. How can I make them appear on both?

Also, I tried the instruction you have here for incorporating a footer, but it doesn’t seem to work in my case? I’d like to put a 3-column footer, if that’s possible. Thank you!

Thanks you so much for liking the theme. I have checked your blog filipinaexplorer.com and both date and comment tags are not showing up on your blog. You might have disabled your comments and dates from your blog setting. Check (Post and Comments) and (Language and Formatting) section in your blog setting. Another things could be that you might have accidently deleted them while editing your blogs codes.

Go to Template > Edit HTMlL > Press CTRL+F to find ‘date-header’ with quotes. You will find it around four times. If the code looks like this –
<h2 class="date-header"> <span> </span> </h2>
You have to change it to

<h2 class="date-header"> <span><data:post.dateHeader/></span> </h2>
Then for commets. Search for ‘post-comment-link’ with quotes. You will find it around four times. If the codes look like this -
<span class="post-comment-link"> </span>
Change it to - <span class="post-comment-link"> <if cond="data:blog.pageType != "item""> <if cond="data:blog.pageType != "static_page""> <if cond="data:post.allowComments"> <span class="comment-link"><data:post.commentLabelFull/></span> :if> :if> :if> </if></if></if></span> Hope this solves your problem.

When you solve this issue we will look at the footer part. :)

Hi Salman. I looked into the template and I do see three date-header codes there, and two of them are actually correctly coded (based on the second code you gave). The first one though looks like this:

<data:post.dateHeader/>

Could that be the problem?

Never mind the footer. I think it looks cleaner without a footer anyway.

Also, is it possible to change the font color/ font type and size of the elements on the sidebar (e.g. Popular Posts and the texts thereafter)?Would like to do that too and change it to a color lighter than tangerine. Thanks!

I mean the first one looks like this (sorry): : div class=’date-header’> <data:post.dateHeader/>

You do this. Go to your Template and Press Ctrl+A to copy all the codes it has, paste and save it on Notepad/Wordpad and send it to my email.

hi,

i can’t find the way to change all the fonts – some (post body) work in the template editor, some (post title) don’t. Can I make that work somehow?

the built-in blogger search box doesn’t really work – I can’t see the results. is there a way to fix this?

TemplatesZoo
Sidebar is not an active part of the blog. So you need to add the Search Box on your main page.
Follow the instructions below to add the Search box between menu and social media links at the header.

Open your menu widget. You have some codes in it. Just before the last word i.e. <|div> you have to add the following codes -
<style>
#search-box {
float: right;
width: 200;
}
</style>
<span><div id="search-box">
<form action="/search" id="search-form" method="get" target="_top">
<input type="text" id="search-text#menusearch" name="q"
placeholder="Search ...">
<button id="search-button" type="submit"><span>Go</span></button>
</form>
</div></span>

that’s great (and it works! showing posts as results) but there was a sort of boxed list-view in the built-in search function that i liked very much… isn’t it possible to bring that back?

thanks!

TemplatesZoo

Yup, we have to create a widget section there and then add the official search box. Contact me through my profile (http://themeforest.net/user/TemplatesZoo) so that i can easily send you instructions and codes. Plus mention your demo url.

yeah that works on my page as well – I added your code and it’s perfect. I’m asking about the original thisblog/web/referredn from this page etc. list-view table, that used pop up after entering a search phrase.

Hey! I love this theme! Thank you!

Just wondering how to change the height of the photo in the header? If I change the height in .topwrapper {, I get an orange bar.

Where do I insert the monitoring code to activate Google Analytics? Thank you so much in advance!

TemplatesZoo
Two ways to do that.

1. Automatic
Follow this – https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1009610?hl=en

2. Manual
Go to Template, click on Edit HTML and then press CTRL+F to find
</head>
Add your analytics code just before this line.

Hello TemplatesZoo very good job on this template, but before purchasing the template I was wondering how to add the comment to it original position am not digging the sidebar things :-D

TemplatesZoo

Reverting back the comments section to its original position is very easy. I will guide you to do that once you have purchased the theme,
