i LOVE this template!!!!!

One question – I’m using the “Dark” theme. When I click a link on the homepage, is there a way to change the color once clicked from the “blue” to something different (such as HEX #B40025) ?

Thanks, and again, this theme is AMAZING !!! :)

Default-user

Hi,

Thanks very much for buying the template, really glad you like it! If you mean that you want to change the color of visited links, then if you add

a:visited {color:#B40025 !important;} to the CSS file then this will do that.

Hope I’ve understood you correctly, if not just let me know.

Thanks,

Tom

Thanks for the response!

Actually, I’m not talking about visited links. I’m talking (after doing a little research) about the “data-theme” properties I think?

On the homepage, if you click the list menu item for “About,” after you release the mouse (or after you touch it on a mobile device) the button turns Blue for a split second before loading the about.html page. I would like to change this to a red color. Does this make sense? :)

Default-user

I figured it out. If anyone would like to style their own colors for a custom theme (for buttons, etc.) you may do so at this link: http://jquerymobile.com/themeroller/

Default-user

Glad you figured it out! Any more problems, don’t hesitate to ask!

Can you go into a little detail (or I can give you my email if that’s easier) on how to incorporate more than one form on a site?

For example, I want to have another contact form with different options in addition to the included one. (so two separate forms). I see the form action in the top of the script.js file, and then the script at the very bottom of the file as well. I want to have this second form contain different fields than the first, but also validate and send with Ajax. What would be involved in accomplishing this?

Default-user

Multiple forms should be no problem. You may have to add some javascript depending on what fields you want. If you drop me an email with your exact requirements at the address in the documentation, I can send you some code!

Tom

Default-user

Ok, I sent you an email to the address in the documentation. To summarize, I’m mainly looking for some generic code I can add/modify so that I can add additional fields to forms and have it validate, and include in the php mail.

Also, if I need to add whatever code to the same scripts.js file, or create a new one for each form?

Hi there,

I’m thinking about buying this template for later use in Wordpress. Do you have a Wordpress Plugin version?

Default-user

Hi,

I’m currently developing a wordpress version that should be available soon if you would rather wait for that. If you would rather not wait, it is not too much work to modify the template into a wordpress theme.

Cheers,

Tom

Default-user

I’m young – I can wait :))

What is your estimated delivery date? If it’s a month, I’m fine. If it’s 3 months, I’d rather go for modifying it.

Default-user

It should definitely be within the month, hopefully within the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned :)

Wordpress version is now available on Theme Forest!

Hi, I am trying to integrate MySQL database into this theme. For start I am trying to make a login form. How would I do this?

Default-user

Thanks for purchasing the template!

You can integrate any database just as you usually would. For the login form you can find just use the same markup for the text input as they are on the contact form (just be sure to change the form ID) and then you can POST this to your desired PHP function by setting the ‘action’ on the form in the normal way. Hope this helps!

I’m having the problem when I press the log out button it goes to logout.php

It ends the session and then redirects it to the index.php using header(‘location:index.php’);

It logs out but I then have to manually navigate to index.php to log back in. But the page displayed is the index.php page.

I hope it makes sense.

Also how to you access the alert box to say something link “Username or password not correct”

Finally could you also post here an example of an Ajax function here to access a method from a Class.

Default-user

Page dialogs can be called by adding data-rel=”dialog” to any link to a page. You can see

http://jquerymobile.com/demos/1.0/docs/pages/page-dialogs.html

for more documentation on this.

I’m afraid I’m having trouble understanding exactly what the problem is with your sessions. Maybe if you sent am email detailing the problems to the address in the documentation I can do what I can to help!

Thanks,

Tom

What I think @steprescott is saying, is that if you use a header('location:index.php'); to redirect the page after a logout, or form submission, the URL in the address bar reads …/form-process.php

In order to get to the actual index.php page you have to manually hit the refresh button in the browser. Is there a fix for this?

Default-user

If you are using AJAX for the form/login then you can echo a success to the javascript and then forward to where you want with javascript like so:

window.location = "index.php"

If the form is not being POSTed with javascript and being POSTed straight to the PHP function then it must be an issue with your PHP code so it is hard for me to say without seeing it.

Does the template automatically resize the photos for the gallery?

Also, when I view the photos in the gallery I keep seeing the same text for all the photos. Can I put unique descriptions for each photo when they are viewed?

Default-user

Hi,

Yes, the photos are automatically resized depending on the screen size and also the number of columns you choose. The photos can be any size.

All the text is just placeholder text, it can all be changed very easily for each photo. I hope this helps!

Hi…....Is there a way I can use this to work alongside a flash website. Thanks

Default-user

Hi,

Yes, you can run this alongside a flash site, you just need to detect mobile browsers and redirect them to it, probably on a subdomain such as mobile.yourdomain.com. If you google mobile redirect script then are quite a few out there that are easy to use.

Hi, really nice template! Could you do a custom color theme for me (paying for it obviously) ?

Default-user

Hi,

Yes this would be a possibility. If you send me a message through here or contact info@22lines.com with your requirements then we can discuss what you need.

Thanks,

Working hard on it at the moment, just trying to make sure everything is done right! Hopefully early next week though.

@2x graphics? I’m viewing the Demo on my iPhone4 and it seems the graphics are lo-res (at least the logo and social media icons). Can you confirm this?

thanks!

Default-user

Hi,

I haven’t included @2x graphics mainly because 99% of the template is rendered with CSS3 so there are very few graphics.

The icons used are free to download in higher resolution however if you want to use them and the only reason I left the logo in one size is that I assume you would be changing it and just wanted to keep the download to a minimum :)

Hope this all makes sense, if not please get in touch again. The upshot is that since I only used 4 graphics (not including the blog/portfolio images) I didn’t use any x2 versions but there is nothing stopping you from using them with the template.

Cheers,

Tom

Hello, I’am also interested in buying the wordpress version as soon as possible. Could you please confirm that it won’t be a wordpress plugin but a theme ? Regards, Fabrice

Default-user

Hi Fabrice,

Yes, it will be a full theme and not just a plugin. I am working on it at the moment, it will get it finished as soon as possible so check back over the next few days.

how difficult would it be to add a fixed footer with 4 buttons (ie, Call to Click, Map, Social Media buttons, etc)...

Default-user

Hi,

This would be very simple, it would only be a few lines of code added to the bottom of the page. I can write it up for you and send you the code to add if you would like, feel free to email me.

Kind regards,

Tom

Hi there;

How do I modify the colors of the header and the collapsible divs?

Thanks

M.

Default-user

Hi,

The easiest way is to use the jQuery mobile themeroller which can be found here

http://jquerymobile.com/themeroller/

This is a lot easier than trying to overwrite lots of CSS values. If you have any problems with this, just let me know. Thanks for buying the template!

Tom

stoneypointe

Thanks Tom

Basically I created a new theme with the colors i wanted, downloaded it and in my template I replaced this: <link rel=”stylesheet” href=”http://code.jquery.com/mobile/1.0/jquery.mobile-1.0.min.css” /> with this: <link rel=”stylesheet” href=”themes/Natalis.min.css” />

It is not working. Am I missing something here? Thanks.

M.

Default-user

What you have done is all correct so I think if it is not working, there must be an error with the link to the file.

If you view the source in a browser and click the link to your new CSS file, does it bring up the code?

Tom

stoneypointe

Yes, if I load it from the browser it loads correctly. I even tried an absolute path in the template, but it does not work. Thank you for the suggestion though. I will try to figure it out later.

How do I get rid of the grey square that is behind all of the text blocks on all of the pages. Love the template! New to web design. Sorry for the newbie question.

Default-user

Hi,

Thanks for buying the template! If you would like to remove it, you just need to remove the classes ‘ui-body’ and ‘ui-body-b’ from the containing div and it will be gone. Any problems, just let me know!

Hi there, I’m having trouble with form submission.

When I submit the form

<form action=”submit.php” method=”post”>

the url is changed to submit.php even after the page has been transferred to home.php (after successful login).

The same with logout, when I press logout from home.php in url it shows logout.php even thought it shows index.php (login page).

How do I fix this problem so that it shows appropriate URLS ?

Default-user

Hi,

Sorry for the slow reply, I managed to miss this comment yesterday! That is probably because it is trying to POST via ajax. Try adding data-ajax=”false” to the form element. Let me know if this works, I think it should do.

Thanks,

Tom

Great! That helps me get rid of the grey background. How do I keep it but change it to another color other than grey? I looked at style.css but couldn’t get a grasp around how to edit the body class to change it to another color. Thanks Tom!

Default-user

As Rejanu mentioned, to change to a different color, just change the ui-body-c to ui-body-a or ui-body-b etc to change it.

Thanks for buying the template, any other questions, please let me know!

How do I change the button colors on the contact page from that blue… I set the ThemeRoller css document up and it doesnt change the colors of those buttons…

Please help…

Thanks!

Default-user

Hi,

Which buttons do you mean exactly? Do you mean the Phone Us and Map buttons on the business contact page? If so, have you changed the data-them=”x” to your Themeroller value?

Tom

Default-user

Hey 22lines,

Thanks a lot! That did the trick! One more question, I added another field to the form on the contact page and I cant get it to look like the rest of the fields “style-wise” that is… Can you point me in the right direction…

Thanks again!

Default-user

And also do I need to add anything to the form to make it send mail, I thought everything was fully functional? do I have to change anything other then my email address to get the form to send out?

Default-user

What kind of form element were you trying to add? If you use the same markup as the other elements it should work but let me know what you are trying to do.

Yes, all you have to do is set the email address where you would like it to go. Obviously you have to make sure that the server you are running it on is set up to send mail.

Cheers,

Tom
