It’s really good start for a theme – even version 1.0 is impressive. I will probably buy it in upcoming weeks (I need something by the end of April), I have only 2 questions:
1. What types of audio files are supported by theme player? Is it possible to upload .m4a files to it?
2. Would you consider making update in the future and add some page top customization? Or maybe it is possible to customize it with CSS (for example to make it with fixed width and change it’s height).
1. the audio player can play .m4a’s but its not support across all browsers see this the audio player also uses a flash fallback for older browsers(aka IE) which only supports mp3’s
2. Im not sure exactly what you’re asking here, you can make the whole thing fixed width pretty easily just removing a few lines of CSS

Any idea why I wouldn’t be able to upload a Background image? When I click the “Upload” button, it doesn’t do anything. No dialog box pop or Browse window. In fact, on the settings page, none of the upload buttons work.

Um, not really.
without being able to look at whats going on I cant tell you how to fix it/whats actually broken, you can create a separate admin account and delete it after I have a look other wises there not much I can tell you. Its been tested in all major browsers without issue.
I tried FF and Chrome. What SHOULD happen when I click “Upload”? A browse for file window?
yes it uses the default WordPress media uploader, if you watch the video walktrhough you’ll see it. I just tried in both Chrome and FF and it works fine from my side on both my local and live installs.
Which is why I need admin details to see whats going on, it could be many things simple or complex, but I cant just guess why its not working for you I need to take a look.

What version of WordPress do you happen to be using?
I just tried a bunch of buttons and they aren’t working either. It’s obviously my WP install (3.5.1).
To anyone reading this thread, this is an amazing theme! The upload feature is not broken. It’s my problem, not the theme’s.

If you haven’t fixed the issue try deactivating all of your plugins and see if it fixes the issue. Then reactivating them 1 by 1 until you find the culprit, if you dont have any plugins try reinstalling WordPress Core
I uploaded over my install and it seems to have fixed the issue. Thanks again for making my blog look so good.

Can you confirm the audio player works on Windows IE and Firefox? When I try your demo theme on browserling.com it doesn’t seem to work on Firefox and the player doesn’t seem to appear on IE… Is this just something to do with browserling?

I want to buy this, but does it allow users to download a track? Or is there an easy way I could implement that?
Its not coded to for a download link show, but WordPress can do this by default by simply inserting the audio into the post. Depending on the web browser it will either download and play or download the file(that’s default functionality of most browsers).A download link wouldn’t be that hard to code into the loop either but it would still either play/download depending on the browser set up.
If you want your users to be able to download the files without worrying that it will just play in the browser you’ll want to use a download manager plugin and then zip the files
I really would like to buy this but couple of things are stopping me. If you can assure me you will fix, I will get it in a heart beat!
1- when leaving a comment for a post, can you add validation to the form? if you miss a field, can you make it so the field’s border turns red for example but not go to a blank page “ERROR: please fill the required fields (name, email).”
2- can you add a 404 page? instead of “no posts were found”, keep the “no posts were found” page when you search and the search does not come out with anything, but for a dead link, add a seperate 404?
3- when you go to the HTML check page, in the pagenation at the bottom, the 1, 2, 3 numbers are randomly spaced! can you fix that?
Please let me know asap, if you can fix these simple issues, consider another copy sold
1 & 2. that would require customization, which I do not provide the theme uses the default WordPress comment so any plugin can hook directly into it, same goes for the 404 pages.

That again the default WordPress setup it doesnt wrap the active page in anything(the default number) and the only proper way to do it will get the theme rejected, as it has to replace default functionality
It uses wp_link_pages which is required by the theme check plugin, you can swap it for a custom function but it throws an error in the theme check(which gets the theme rejected)
One last question if you dont mind, in your gallery posts, i see that when you flip through pictures, the pictures fade-in and out, which is fine, but when using iPhone or iPad, and you swipe throw pictures, they flicker, can you make them slide so on mobile devices they look more natural?
the flicker was a slight but it should be fixed in the demo, will push an update, but if you want it to slide it can be done with some modification. The jQuery plugin used is flexslider but it would require knowledge to edit the files properly
EDIT: I take that back, the files on themeforest already had the fix I just never updated the demo apologies

Er sorry. I actually want to use an icon you don’t have listed in your icons.html sheet. How would I go about editing an existing icon or adding a new one?
You’ll need to regenerate the font with the new icons http://fontello.com or add a new font. and then edit the code in the footer.php as I mention above to either add or replace the icons I use in my theme.
If you’re not using a font based icons then you will need to change the code and add the images with the proper paths.
Half of the fontello fonts are not working under the latest chrome in windows 8, some do work, some dont! they work just fine with the latest chrome on windows 7 though.
Also, they all work great under IE and FF, could you please assist? it is doing same thing on my website and your demo website
Hmm its working in the latest version of Chrome on the Mac too, let me dig into this a bit it maybe a browser bug in Windows 8.

-more-> tag in every post, but I want it done automaticallyI went to the content-standard.php (for example) and change the line under ”<section class=”post-content”>” to ”<?php the_excerpt…” but that only shows “Read more” and thats it
On the font issue, It seems to be only in Windows 8 in Chrome every other OS with the latest version of Chrome its working fine and I cant duplicate it with other fonts so it maybe a bug, I still need to dig deeper to try and duplicate it(or find the cause) but again it is working on all other OS’s with the latest Chrome.
For the excerpt you need to replace all of the “the_content();” in the content-posttype.php (the post type being the post type you want an excerpt).
Theres actually hidden excerpt functions in the theme that aren’t being used currently but in for future releases, open up the includes/theme-functions.php and delete lines 216-255
I opened content-standard.php, under <section class=”post-content”> i changed it to the_exceprt but now all i see in my front page is just “Read more” there is no teaser, and when i click on the “read more” it takes me inside the post and the post is empty with just “read more” again!!!
My apologizes, you need to add a conditional http://d.pr/n/BMpv as its loaded for both singular and loop pages.
also note I dont provide any customizations as part of my support just for direct issues(like the font) if you cant make the proper edits you will need to look into hiring some one to do so.

I did, nothing, and btw 216 is the display retina logo function! are you sure delete from 216? even though, i still tried, nothing, then i tried deleting 231 to 255 because my ”* Excerpt Length.” starts from 231, and still nothing! perhaps I have an older version? I downloaded it again earlier today and these are the files I have
Man I’m messing you all up today, I was looking in a newer version than whats available on TF(its an upcoming update), the proper lines are 231- 269 and you will also need to delete line 194.

on the font issue, it seems that Chrome is only loading half the font on Windows 8, Ive submitted a bug to Chrome it seems its doing that with any icon font I load Im digging deeper to figure out what the exact cause is but still unsure.
