I downloaded Transform Theme coz its really great! Only I had a problem with its slider manager and slider on the homepage. Images are not showing.

Check out the permission of cache directory in the js folde of the theme delete all the files in the cache folder and try again if still you face the problem
Please provide me the you login info of your ftp and wordpress both some time by using the another hosting to store the images timthumb create the problem

Additional question if you may… Aside form plug-ins and caches, what are other reasons why sliders don’t work or function well?

I have downloaded new versions and tried to install via ftp but the minute I activate it it says the above.

I love the theme but there are a few questions I have. I added 5 slides into the Slider Manager. The pics are coming up and when I hit the Accordian option they are visible. But the Nivo and thumbnail don’t show what they are supposed to. I am very interested in the Thumbnail option I looked thru the help info and nothing is helping. Also, how are updates done for this theme? How and where do I update them? You mention updates but I can’t find how to apply them. If you need to look at our site it is golfcolorado9holes.com Jeff

Please re download the package and try again for update you have to go in the download section of your account and re download the package

Unzip the package you will get the transforms name folder in a extracted folder , open the folder in that folder you will get the following things
Documentation (folder) Licensing (folder) Plugins (folder contain the plugins for theme dont forget to install them after the theme )
transforms.zip (a zip file which you have to upload )
Upload this file in your wordpress

Is it possible to turn off the home page banner slider? I need to replace this with a vimeo video as the slider does not handle video… also, the recent projects text snippets just stop, is it possible to add … to the end or even a read more link? Many thanks!
Additional: when adding recent projects to the home page it ALWAYS appears at the top of the page… Can this be adjusted so it appears where it is put? This is an issue because it now appears above the vimeo video I am adding to replace the banner slider when it needs to be 2nd in the order. I have removed the home page banner by creating a new template, so that issue is solved. Many thanks!
If you want to remove the thumbnail slider please edit the home_page.php and remove the function (thumbnail_head) and file attached (thumbnail.php ) attached with this file

Hi, I have solved the cut off text issue and added a linked [...] by editing formatting.php file. However I still have: when adding recent projects to the home page it ALWAYS appears at the top of the page… Can this be adjusted so it appears where it is put? Please can you advise, this is the last issue I have before the website goes live! Many thanks

NO its not in the plugin list , they are just two simple php file in the theme directory

I did a new download Slider still only works as accordian.
to set the thumbnaiil slider to your home page , login and check out the slider options in theme panel
