Well, hypothetically it’s possible for a professional coder, but we don’t provide instructions on such a deep customization and can’t predict how will it affect other settings. Sorry.

Can someone help me out with adding a slider into the body text of a page?

Say I create a page with header “TEST” with a right sidebar and I want a slider in the body of that page (to the left of the sidebar) , but when I add the slider it appears above the header text and uses 100% width.

How do I go about doing this?

Actually there’s no way to make the slider slow in a content, it only appears at 100% width beneath the navigation menu. Unless you’ll use a Content Slider shortcode or a Slider Project format.

Unfortunately we have no information on this matter.
We haven’t made any tests and can neither confirm nor deny, that our theme would work properly with any plugin, except of WordPress Importer or Contact Form 7 (which are 100% compatible). And as it might been known, we don’t guarantee compatibility with any additional plugin.

If you’d like to have a plugin-compatible theme, we advice you to buy Roundone WP theme or more recent themes by cmsmasters – they supposed to work fine with most popular plugins.

Hello. For some reason the index page is not showing up properly in IE. I have a link to the test site so you can see what I mean but would prefer to send it privately. Can you let me know how to email that to you? I viewed the live preview from themeforest and it works great. I am not really sure what I am doing wrong as all I did was copy it to the server without changes and it does not show up correctly. Please advise. Thank you for your time. Connie

The options you referred to are available at TryMee/Styling Options/Font Color Options. You should change your links’ color – it will automatically change this button and the active menu item line colors as well.

You’re right, I didn’t read the “How To” before asking. But I did just read the “How To” and it doesn’t list how to link a slide to a url without a caption button. Please advise.

Unfortunately TryMee slider has no slide-as-link option. The link can be added using caption and button only (or you can add video as well).
We had to sacrifice this feature in favor of responsiveness.

Also, is there a quick way to remove breadcrumbs from pages? Tried looking for it in the page.php file and couldn’t…

But talking about ready pages, I think you might need to disable breadcrumbs manually for every page (see this instructions – here)

i was helping a client install your theme and while importing demo content i wondered…could you have selected a worse username?

Our site was just hacked. Our host actually was aware of it at the the same time we saw it and had already went in and was cleaning it. They said there was a vulnerability found in the theme. Below is what they sent us. Was wondering if anyone else has reported this and if you have released an update to fix this?

“Upon investigation it was determined that an improperly secured file upload script on the account was responsible for this issue. It appears that the upload script in question is not verifying file type and/or content prior to allowing the upload of files, which has allowed malicious content to be uploaded to your account. We have removed all of the malicious content from the account at this time however further action is required on your part to prevent future issues. Please properly secure this upload script, ensuring that it does not allow for the uploading of arbitrary files. You may also wish to add a captcha or force users to login prior to using the upload script. Failure to secure this script will very likely lead to further compromise. To prevent further abuse we have restricted the file /public_html/wp-content/themes/trymee/theme/functions/upload-bg.php.

Hello! After auto-upgrading to Wordpress 3.5.1 the Slider-Manager-Fileupload shows only the grey overlay but no upload-window. Also the changeable fontsize isn’t shown > there are no numbers to see. Do you have an idea? I try to disable the pug-ins and change the browser without a result!

Hi. It’s hard to say what happened. What version have you been using? Is it the recent one 1.3? If not, please, update the theme.

To update, please, follow to your Downloads tab on Themeforest and click “download”. Then follow to the Fix_1.3 folder and open README.txt, you’ll find the instruction on update there. Basically you should replace some files at your server. But please, make a backup beforehand – just in case. If you have made some code changes in style.css, the update can harm your customization. You should copy changed code to the new file.

Oh, it seems like you have made some code customization. In your ie.css there is a class: .cmsms_plus { position:relative; }

Our site was hacked as well and we had to delete all backups to be sure we got rid of everything. We’ve now updated wordpress to 3.5.1 and having the same issues with the slider manager and no upload window for images. The rest of the control panel also has issues – the boxes with numeric values for line heights, header positions etc are not showing.

Hi there I’ve noticed on your Forums that TryMee has upgraded to 1.3. However on my upgrades panel in Wordpress it is still saying that 1.2.1 is the current version. After seeing posts on this forum about hacks to websites, this is making me nervous.

Can you point me to where I can upgrade the theme.

After the hacking, We have been having issues. Like compatibility issues on PS versions of Firefox, IE and Chrome. Specifically the inner pages which have a blue BG don’t show and some of the fancy box functions don’t work (like the short code for text link and to make the image larger) What is strange is that it appears to be ok for some people so we thought it was a caching issue but we have flushed our DNS several times and made our individual settings consistent but we are still all seeing different things. Anyone else reporting this issue??

I meant PC versions btw. I should mention that we had compatibility issues form the beginning and was able to correct all that. It wasn’t until we got hacked and did the update that everything got buggy and inconsistent.

In fact, if any code customization took place, or even some plugin added, it could affect the whole theme.
Have you tried to reinstall WordPress by the way?
But be careful, please, don’t replace wp-content folder, wp-config and .htaccess (if there is one) files.

Another way to check what happened and is it our theme’s fault, is install and activate a default theme got from fresh archive.
Other than that, I’d like to see your ticket, please.

Hi, I purchased this theme last week and downloaded it immediately. For some reason, I don’t seem to be able to import it correctly as I keep getting error message: Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init() in C:\xampp\htdocs\xxxx\wordpress\wp-content\themes\trymee\theme\classes\protected-api.php on line 349.

Unfortunately we can’t assist you while you’re working at the local server. Some local servers have incompatible settings. Please, move the site online – it should solve the issue.
Generally we recommend to develop web sites online, because it’s barely possible to help you having no wp-admin and FTP credentials. Every case is special and needs deeper consideration. The most convenient way to get it sorted asap is move the site online and submit a personal support ticket if the issue remains.

Hey there,

I purchased this theme a while ago, and it recently started playing up a bit with the Coloured Sidebar.

I have the Homepage template set to Coloured Page and the Coloured Sidebar widget is in the correct place. Up until now, it has worked fine, but I checked it today and it is not there?

The website is www.kimsyrus.com.au The coloured sidebar usually sits right under the slider, but it has gone now?

Not sure what is happening, if there is an easy fix, or anything you can do to help, it would be much appreciated.
