Best theme! Simple, yet effective. I have few questions for you:
1. When someone uses the contact form it doesn’t show “Message sent successfully”, only the loading animation. The message is send, but the message does not appear. Same problem on quick contact and the full contact form. Any reason?
2. How can I make the images from the slider appear from the left side and not from the right as they do by default?
3. What file can I change to show my twitter feed and not yours?

Have you found our documentation? Slider on main page is in “section” tag with id “top”. Two things: I was hoping for more info on using the tip tool and secondly, I wish you guys would just post the answers to people questions openly and publicly. That way if someone else had the same issue we might use it as a guideline to solve our own issues, without having to submit something and then wait for a response. Just Saying – Cheers B.

I was just checking the template demo in various browsers and found out that in IE7 and IE8 the browser shows horizontal scroll bar. Also, in IE9 it doesn’t display the background color. I wanted to purchase this theme, but i am not assured whether the issues would be resolved. As, all your responses says to raise a ticket on your support forum. But without the purchase code, its not possible to register to your support forum. Hope this is issue is solved.

Can you, please, make screenshots for us? It works fine on our end in IE8 and IE9 . Have you tried to turn off a Toolbar in the top of the page?

If I put a video in the header image area, will it also appear on the mobile version or just the desktop version? The screen shot of the mobile version of your site seems to not show the header image, whether it’s a static image or a video. Please advise. Also, is possible to show the navigation as buttons rather than as a drop down menu? Thanks!

What exactly do you mean by header image? On the mobile device you can see the logo and slider. And yes, our slider can show video on small resolutions as well.
There’s no way to make navigation menu appear else than drop-down. This is how responsiveness work.
HI, Does the slider work for safari 5.1 and Mac OS.? The videos don’t show in the online version, only a black screen appears. I suppose the online version is syncronized with the last zip to download, isn’t it?

Hello. For some reason the index page is not showing up properly in IE. I have a link to the test site so you can see what I mean but would prefer to send it privately. Can you let me know how to email that to you? I viewed the live preview from themeforest and it works great. Actually, I just tested your HTML version from the Live Preview in IE8 / IE9 and see that it doesn’t show up for you either here on Themeforest. I guess I should have checked that before purchasing. I simply just noticed the compatibility and since I work mainly in chrome, assumed it was correct. Unfortunately, the intranet system I am placing this on is exclusively IE8.
Any help would be much appreciated.

yes that is correct. So I did a random test on computers here in the office found that 50% of the people with IE8 and IE9 could view the website and the other 50% couldn’t, including me. I am not able to view the site at all on IE8. We checked versions, we deleted cache, java cache, set the browser back to default settings everything. I had my help desk team here and I look at this for over 5 hours today and we cannot find anything in the code that is causing this yet this is the results we are getting. I am GOING NUTS!!!! This is ridiculous. Why would some computers display the website on either IE8 / IE9 browser but other computers using the exact same setup not be able to see the website. I really just don’t get it at all. And no, I am not using compatibility mode.

I think have the first version even though I just downloaded it. All my files in the zip file say 4/24/2012. But according to the changelog there were changes in October. I don’t have that version. Can you somehow send me the latest version? because the download version is from 4/24/2012. Thank you!

You may download fresh theme archive from Themeforest – it will have the latest version of your template.
But actually I’m sure, that theme version is not the reason of your problem. We only made a fix for video slides in Safari.
I guess it may be caused by some system settings. For instance, 50% computers in your office have clean Windows 7, others have some additions or different Windows versions, it may affect. Partially javascript can be blocked by system updates installed incorrectly.
We checked on all devices – your site looks fine.
Where is the “download fresh theme archive”? I keep downloading it from the downloads page but that only gives me the files from 4/24. Is there a different place to download? There is obviously something wrong with the code if it is being interrupted by the user’s system. We checked system settings and they were identical and still the site refused to come up. It is just frustrating trying to determine a site that works intermittently. Since this is on a intranet with company owned computers, all the computers are setup the same. Updates would be the same as well. You saw from my attachments how the site doesn’t even show. Any other suggestions? Thanks for your time on this.

As about code interrupt – I’m afraid it’s not about our theme settings, but about IE browser. As you know, it’s one of the most buggy browsers, slow and inconvenient as opposed to Chrome, Firefox and even Safari
Okay. Figured it out kind of. The intranet that this site is being used on, forces all IE8 browsers in the company to “Browser Mode” = IE8 Compatibility View, which makes this site unusable. Any suggestions?!? I have done everything I can think of to force Browser Mode but I cannot find how to do it. What needs to be modified in the code so that people can view this site even in IE8 Compatibility View?!? I have been working on this for 4 weeks and pulling my hair out over it. Another note to make is that this site will only work 100% of the time on IE8 in this company when in an iFrame. If the site is not in an iFrame than only 50% get to see the site at all. I think my ticket got closed, I don’t know but just wanted some expertise to let me know if it is possible to either change the ‘Browser Mode” through code or change the code of the site to work in “IE8 Compatibility View”. Thank you!
Unfortunately it’s impossible to change TryMee code in a way you referred to. We already made it compatible to the most commonly used browsers, including IE8 and IE9, and can’t make it compatible to IE7 and earlier versions (in fact, IE8 Compatibility View converts it to IE7). So editing this template code is not an option, but it’s better just ask the administrator to set all the browsers to a default mode so they all could run IE8.
Actually I would highly recommend to upgrade the software and use IE9 instead of IE8 if possible.
