The HTML conversion is almost done. I did NOT support IE 6 .
Also, as I only purchased a single license ( and not even really sure what that entitles me to ) MedioWorks has contacted me and asked me to notify him/her when I am done converting – which I will do, of course.
I have been taking it slow, as my client is in no rush.
Additionally, I have also been simultaneously converting to a WordPress template, which is apparently very popular on this site. I am new to Word Press, but it’s going surprisingly well. PHP is PHP I guess, so it’s only a matter of learning their API template functions.
My client’s site was ( of course ) not exact to this PSD , but I did convert to HTML 5 exactly – to be honest, just to see if I could replicate MedioWorks AWESOME design exactly. I have it really REALLY close! This is the first time I have used the “Select/Merge/Copy/New” method, rather than the Slice tool. If you don’t know what that means, I suggest purchasing the tutorial on this site PSD to HTML . Anyways, it’s so much more efficient!
I will be contacting MedioWorks shortly, as I expect to finish up soon. Hopefully he/she and I can come to an agreement to share my work with you guys.
... but it appears the author is in the midst of converting himself. So cool! I will buy the converted template just to support this kick ass designer, that I promise you!
