Good theme! Wish there were more “aggressiveness” to the theme itself. Some more shadows, some more out of the box stuff. It’s sort of plain for me.

Looks good. How hard would it be to put the logo on the left and the menu on the right? That’s a must for me.
markb1439: easily done, you just have to change 2 css properties
in style.css search for: .navwrap (arround line 647) and change the property left:5px; to right:5px;
then search for .logo, .logo a (arround line 49) and change right:20px to left:0px
This is gonna make big bucks.

With the images on the home page, how do you add more? Can you describe the post/category structure a bit more?

you just create a post in a specific category (you can choose this category at the backend page that comes with the theme) and upload the image to the post. instead of putting it into the textarea like normal images there is an extra input field below this area now, where you enter the url of the image just uploaded… thats pretty much it

Can the transitions in the featured area be changed? For example, can the fade be changed to a slide?
Unfortunatley there are no predefined options for this, you would have to modify the transition on your own. this could be done but only if you know jquery to a certain extent.

TIPS and TRICKS : You can also add PNG files to the home page for transparency effects. For example, have a semi-transparent effect on the left with text, and an image on the right.

Regarding the portfolio section … I have about 100 images to display. What do you think the best way to implement that would be using your template? Single page? Multiple portfolio pages?

+3 moremilset: the portfolio page comes with a pagination option, you can just set a number in the portfolio backend options and each page will display that many items.
I would recommend to use 12 or 15 if you got such a high number of images to display
