Hello just purchased your theme U-design, installing on my WP site was not possible error: stylesheet is missing (translated from Dutch to English)

I thought no problem, just register on your support forum and ask my question. But it’s impossible tot subscribe. Also here an error: Invalid Envato Username

Please your reaction and hopefully your solution.

Hi,

Thank you for choosing my theme!

You were supposed to unzip the initial zip file you downloaded after purchase onto your hard drive and then inside you would find Documentation and another zip file called ‘u-design.zip’ which is the actual theme. Please refer to the Documentation for installation instructions.

If you end up doing the FTP method to install the theme then make sure the directory path to the theme files look like this: 
wp-content/themes/u-design/

I’m considering purchasing this theme. However, I would like to know if it’s going to be made responsive. I understand not being able to ask questions on your support forum without purchasing, but not being able to see your answers to others who have already asked this without purchasing is frustrating. So, hopefully you can answer here.

Hi,

thanks for your interest in the theme!!

I’m not planning on changing the current theme to responsive, I don’t see the need at this point. The theme works great in most popular mobiles, “responsive” is not always the best option, as the content can get re-arranged, so if specific content order and layout are important then responsive would not be desirable. I’m reading mixed reviews on the usage for responsive layouts.

Hello! I get an error message “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet” when trying to install the theme on WordPress. Any ideas how to correct that error?
