It seems that your theme is quite popular. Nice work. Nowadays it is mandatory for a theme to be responsive. Is your theme responsive? We cant buy if it is not responsive. Please reply. Thanks
yeah, it might be now for new themes, but not when I released the theme initially back in June 2011…
It’s a lot easier to create a new theme responsive as opposed to one that’s already being used on 26,000+ installations, so that needs to be handled with care.
The theme works and looks great in all popular mobiles.
I’m looking into making the theme “responsive” soon but for the moment I don’t have any firm future date to give you. Alternatively, there are services like http://www.dudamobile.com/ and plugins like WPTouch that will give you a mobile version of any WordPress theme/site, so if that was of your concern there’s always a way around it.

I do provide an XML import of the demo site but without the images because of copyright restrictions, but I can give you the websites where I got them from if you want to get those images or similar ones from there yourself. It’s much cheaper to purchase images for single site license use than extended license.

I asked another author and he say the opposite : GoodLayers AUTHOR 54 minutes ago Hi, Well, yes, it’s kind like being uploaded from our host to your host. But the purpose of that is just for customer to easily config the site(because there can work on something like demo site) But when you’re launching your site, you must change those image first or buy a license for those image. Well, this is not actually a distribution. If I include all images in theme package, that’s a distribution. But this seems like you click ‘save image as…’ from demo site… Hope this makes clear
Obviously it is legal, so Is there any chance to get the images with the demo import? I will buy the licenses for sure. It si simply more convenient ti get them with the theme. It’s kind of strange that the authors are not aware what can annd cannot be done

what other authors do is their business, I try to stay legal and do not distribute those images, so no, I do not provide the demo images. The actual image HTML is still in the content so you can still see where the images are located, you just need to replace the bogus image link with a valid one, which is not a big deal it takes 2 seconds to upload an image.

I’ve used the theme for a client in the past and I liked it. I just have a question before I buy it now. Is it possible to to use the “homepage before content” on multiple pages besides just the home page. I wasnt sure if it’s something fairly easy to modify if I buy. Thanks

I’ve written to you in the forum and gotten no response. I had bought U Design some time ago and i’ve now returned to it because of some of the upgrades. I’m having challenge uploading my logo and the background images?? The settings are as you’ve prescribed in the forum – re files and folders – so no problem at the host. Still my logo and background images are not showing up. This is a problem. I’m able to upload post images no problem. Thanks!

It was more than 6 hours ago. I’ve sifted through the forum and there’s no info on my problem. Simply put, I cannot upload my logo, nor background images. A few people in the for seemed to have experienced the same issue.

Great theme, bought it some time ago – now back to it as you’ve added some features I’ve been hunting for. Trying to upload my logo as well as some background images now. Nothing is working?? I can change the custom colours ok. Even your logo seems to be too far up the page – fashcam.com.
Also is it possible to have embedded videos show up as Featured Images on Blog pages and on the Home page as recent posts?
Finally, I’d like to adjust the spacing between the post heading and the excerpt in the recents on the home page – where do I do that?

I’ve now checked the permission at the host ”...it works if you have all folder set as “755” and individual files as “644”... ” Everything is set as you’ve prescribed. Still I cannot upload my logo and background images – could you please advise.
Also re my CSS question – need to know which CSS file it’ll be safe to make the changes on. Unsure which is the child theme.

Hello, I am trying to use Google Web Fonts, which support the symbols of the language I use, it’s UTF-8 supported, the font support all the symbols nicely in http://www.google.com/webfonts
Let take those fonts for example:
Englebert, Titillium Web, Cuprum and many more.
And try to preview this text:
http://oi45.tinypic.com/23w4tba.jpgAll the symbols are displayed nicely, but when I select those exact fonts in the theme options – I don’t see those symbols displayed correctly, they are replace with default/ugly symbols from default font.
What is the problem?
