After I upload your theme, do you supply the xml file for content to appear as yours does on live preview.

an xml file for the WP import/export tool will not give you everything from the demo, only some of the posts/pages, categories, comments, etc content. The actual theme options and settings and Widgets do not get included with the xml. So I’m considering creating an mysql dump which you’ll have to import on a new WP installation and then your site will look like the demo.
I don’t have the file ready yet, but I’m going to prepare it with instructions in the next few days.
Keep in mind that I have also provided some of the code used to create the Home page layouts. You can see the code in the demo under “Home -> Get the code” page.
The theme is really easy to work with and help you customize so you might even like to experiment on your own.

I think I know what’s going on!! You need to place one space between shortcodes, if you leave no space b/n the previous and next shortcode, it won’t work. This is a WordPress problem, that hasn’t been fixed since I remember.
Let me know if you still trouble with the button shortcode.

Hello! Great theme! Forgive me if this answer is somewhere and I didn’t see it. The first home page slider that appears on the preview, where the text is dynamic and slides in… Is this available to do within your theme’s admin panel or is it some sort of flash you created and uploaded?
If that’s not clear, I mean, can you create the dynamic text that scrolls in on the slideshow within the theme?

yes absolutely, what default slider shown in the demo is “Cycle 3”. You can setup all 6 sliders from the theme’s Options page in the WP backend.

I have a few questions:
1) Is there the ability to feature full width header images in the homepage slideshow? (like ‘the planets’ background in your showcase page, but with the ability to scroll through full width images. Alternatively, could you insert slideshow images with no border and the same colour as the background to give the impression of a full width slideshow?
2) Can we set the height of the homepage slideshow or is the height fixed?
3) Is there the ability to add slideshows on internal pages?
4) The sidebar on the internal pages looks quite wide – would it be possible to adjust the width of the sidebar column?

thanks for the interest!
1 ) the sliders are not full screen width, they are fixed width. And ‘yes’, you can insert slideshow images with no border and the same colour as the background to give the impression of a full width slideshow. The only exception is cycle 2 slider with the small image frame but you can remove the frame from the other sliders.
2 ) You can set those up in the first three sliders, which are Flash based.
3 ) You can, but not from the backend since it’s not a default feature, let me know and I’ll show you how, you just have to add some code to the ‘header.php’ file.
4 ) I suppose you could, but I haven’t tested it so I can’t guarantee it will be a smooth change.

Yes, I think you have the home page to be another page not the default, to revert it to the default, go to Settings > Reading > Front page displays and select “Your latest posts”

Ok, I did that and now I got everything in except the div clear class doesn’t seem to work. Are they all supposed to be in one widget, or am I right in skipping down for each section.

make sure all your divs are closed.
Also you can place each row in its own Text widget if you’d like and all three of them in “Home Page Column 1” Widget area, this would work too. Or as it is shown in the “Get the code” page you can insert all main content content in one Text widget. I cant add transitions. I cant add images. I cant add anything. Both in Chrome and Firefox, those buttons do not work. I am trying to get the cycle 3 working but I cant add images or nothing.
Is there a known problem with this theme working in those browsers or something?

Hi, it’s really a great theme. I’m so glad to have it after browsing the whole forest for 9 days.
I might have found a small bug. When I tried to change the title font sizes via Font Setting ->Title Headings Font Settings menu, the size of the tagline could not be changed, but at the same time, the titles of the posts could be changed. Would you please check it?

This is not a bug, the font size for the tag line (slogan) can be changed under theme’s “General Options” section where you specify the slogan position, you’ll see it in there.

Yes, sure, you can use the bg.png, no problem
Just don’t hotlink, download it and upload it to your server.
You can add it as one of the background images under the “Custom Colors” section, and more specifically “Home Page Header Background Image” and select “Repeat only Horizontally” and vertical alignment “Bottom”.

Pretty much all the things you want to remove/disable you can do from the theme’s options page, I have provided a checkbox to disable those, so you don
1 ) I’m not sure I understand your question. What do you mean by ‘blog categories’? And also which icons are you referring to??
2 ) Sure you can change it, I can give you direction as to which files and where you need to find the code to modify. However, the author name can be removed from the theme backend, there’s a checkbox if you don’t want it.

6 ) My support is free as long as it’s within the default theme configuration and layout. Additional modifications and customizations should be awarded as paid work as they require more time and effort to do research, implementation and testing. I usually respond same day or within a few hours depend on the time of the day. I’m going to create a support forum very soon, probably within a couple of days that will be specific for the theme.
