Hello!
Your theme looks very very good
but I´ve some questions:
1.- Is it possible to use your theme with a fixed width, not full width?
2.- Does the home page works without a slider?
3.- I´m planning an e-commerce site, can you tell me wich e-commerce plugin is totaly compatible with your theme?
Thanks in advance.
Have a nice day
Hi,
1 ) The theme is fixed width, it’s not liquid to do full width.
2 ) You can disable the sliders on the Home page ‘yes’, you can choose the “No Slider” options for the home page.
3 ) Should be no problem with the theme.
Regards
Thank you very much for your quick answer
1) Sorry, I mean if I can have colors or images as background behind the body, so the body only is 960px, and around, left and right, you can see an image.
If that is possible… I will purchase it now
Thanks again.
I see. Well, I have provided a way to specify the uploaded background image position property, e.g. centered, left, right, so if you crop your image to be exactly the width of the site 960px, and you center it, then you’re all set
Fine…
I´m going to try it out… right now !!!
One of the most powerfull themes… with super fast support…
That´s just what I was looking for… and finally… I found U !!!
Uhm… I need the Purchase button…
Yes, I see the button… I´m going to press on it!
...
Hi,
Thanks for a quick response
By ‘blog categories’, I mean the list of categories displayed on the blog page on the right sidebar. Instead of using the ‘arrow’ icon, I’d like to use a different one (a folder icon, like in Windows).
Thanks!
I see, yes, it’s possible but you’ll have to customize a little bit css code for that, I can give you instructions how to do that when ready.
Regards
OK.. I work with themes all the the time and so I’m pretty familiar with how everything works. The simplest of things.. getting Cycle 3 slider to work is driving me crazy? I’ve added 4 slides, activated it etc.. and nothing… just shows the standard 940×430 jpg with no sliding text or anything. Please help!
OK, I’m sure there’s a reason why it’s not working out for you, let’s have a look. Please email me backend access to your site: You can send me an email through my Profile page. Scroll down the page (bottom right) and you’ll see the contact form in there. And explain in that email what the problem is exactly.
Thanks
I think I figured it out. I renamed the theme. I do that for all of my clients as I don’t want them to go to their source code and easily see the theme name. I only do it in the “styles.css” and not much else… that’s telling me now that I can’t do that? What is a workaround?
Yeah, this was it, the name should stay u-design. The work around would be to find all the places in the theme’s code, might 2 or 3 that I have relative paths including the theme name, this would mean recompiling the SWF files for the flash sliders Piecemaker only, because they have a relative path including u-design in them.
Regards
Hello again!
I´ve set a 960px background image on all positions in the options panel, it works great!
But… I can´t find the same option for the footer…
How can I set the same for the footer?
Thank you!
Do you mean an image for the footer??
Yes, because the whole page has now the same background image, and I can´t find an option to change the footer with the same image.
OK, I see, you have the bottom area and footer.
I didn’t think that someone might get to the bottom and footer and and want place a BG image, but now that I see that there’s a need for it, I’ll implement it and post it with the next theme update in a few days. If you can’t wait until then, you can add the background image in the ‘styles/style1/css/style.css’ around line #2114 add it to the #bottom-bg css rule declaration and for the footer it will be same file at around line #1075 and this #footer-bg css rule declaration.
Regards
That will be great! I really need it.
Thanks!
Oh! It´s a honor to be the first registered member who writes something in your new forum…

@internq7 –
Couldnt wait longer, so I purchased your theme!
I registered on your support forum, so hoping that I could be very first! lol
Yes Gopal, you are the first
and thanks for the purchase!!
do you have the html theme for this? I want to incorporate this theme in my .NET website.
thanks
Hi,
not yet, but most likely within a week. Email me so that I can have your email added to let you know when I have it ready. You can send me an email through my Profile page. Scroll down the page (bottom right) and you’ll see the contact form in there.
Thanks
The designer is super kind and offered me great advice before buying this theme. I am so happy to have such a great theme to use for my non profit company. Thank you so much for this amazing theme and the kindness you showed me.
Thanks for the kind comment!!
I love this theme. Thanks a lot. its really close to my current site and didn’t need a lot to switch. Thanks a lot!
Hi,
Is it possible in the next update to add a “newsletter subscription” form?
Regards
Hi,
I don’t see the point creating one because all newsletter services like aWeber or MailChimp give you the code to paste in your app and it will give you the form, all you need is to paste it in a Text widget. Actually, there are some nice plugins for MailChimp which offer Widgets for that.
Regards
I guess I have one more questions. What fonts are on the cycle 3 slider? I don’t think they are listed in the documentation
The text in that slider the general body font and it’s inherited. In my demo it’s Arial, I’m not sure what it is in your case.
I created a support forum, if you have any more questions please have yourself registered and post there.
You should be able to register yourself with the Support Forum here: http://dreamthemedesign.com/u-design-support/entry/register?Target=discussions

Your theme looks proper to my requirements I just want to know one thing:
- How can I use two languages using this theme? Considering one language is Left-to-Right and the other one is Right-to-Left(main language is Persian).
Thanks
Hi,
the theme has multilingual support I have provided the (*.pot) file ready for translations. However, I don’t provide the converted RTL version of the theme, you will have to do it yourself. I have clients who have done it with my previous theme’s, so it’s doable.
Regards
Should I be a pro to make the theme RTL ? Would you gimme some hints…..and is it possible to have both RTL and LTR at the same time, I mean whenever the user switches between two different languages, automatically the view changes from RTL to LTR ….
Hi,
I’d say if you’re not comfortable working with CSS and HTML and PHP it could be challenging for you. Perhaps I can give you one of the sites that have done it and you can look at the css and figure out what they’ve done.
Regards
i could give a try…i know html and a little css but not deep in php….which web site has done the RTL modification?...will i be able to modify ur theme by referencing that web site?
by the way, i didnt get my anware…is it possible to have the RTL and LTR themes at the same time, when the user switches languages?
Thanks!
Yes, I have see some clients to have that, both LTR and RTL with a language toggle.
Please email me and I’ll share a link with you.
You can send me an email through my Profile page. Scroll down the page (bottom right) and you’ll see the contact form in there.
Thanks
Hi!
Glad i found you your themes are beautiful!
Does this theme have the price box option like the PureVision theme?
Regards
Change sub-menu color?
Hi,
for that you will need to edit the menu PSD i have provided and save the image again.
If you need further instructions, please move to the support forum.

Disregard my question, i found it. Very nice themes will definatly be purchasing!
The Short Code Insert Button is not showing in the WYSIWYG is there an option for this?
So sorry again! I need the plugin!!
Hi,
thanks for the purchase,
yes, you need to install the plugin for the “Short Code Insert Button”, the plugin is located under the “plugins/” folder in the initial file you downloaded from ThemeForest under you unzip it. Also, please refer to the Section “B” of the Documentation where I describe where you can get the plugin.

That’s weird, my compliments on the theme a couple of hours ago have vanished from the comments!
Anyway, there’s something weird with the comments with Safari on a Mac. The content font size is way out of proportion and using cufon or Google font.
It’s only with Safari. Chrome and Firefox are fine.
Hi,
Thank you for purchasing my theme!
In my effort to provide you with better support I’ve setup an independent Forum where all comments are searchable, you can upload images and insert code with code-highlighting, etc.

Hope to see you there.

Well, I was trying to be helpful by pointing out this bug.
I am most willing to post this in your forum, but I can only become a member if I have purchased the theme. I will, but only if this bug is solved
So please, can you correct the bug I mentioned:
The comments text in Safari on a Mac is way out of proportion, using Cufon/Google font.
Thanks! Tom
You are correct, I didn’t even notice that you haven’t purchased the theme, sorry!!
Regarding what you’re seeing as bug, I don’t have this problem and I don’t think it shows for many other users because no one else has reported such an issue.
So, this is definitely not a bug, check your browser settings, perhaps you accidentally zoomed in, or clear the cache. Do a quick test and open the page on another computer.
Which page do you see like that, can you post a link here?
Thanks
Thanks for responding so fast
Sorry to say, it is a bug.
Recently there were a few other developers here as well that I helped with similar issues with Safari that they themselves didn’t see.
Point is, there is actually a great many that will see this, because this is a standard fully updated Mac with the latest version of Safari. No alterations. So it’s fair to assume that many, not a few, will notice.
It’s the same with all comment texts for blogs.
I have checked everything here, but it simply can’t be on this end. I can send you a screenshot if you wish, just let me know which email address to send it to.
Please do that. You can send me an email through my Profile page. Scroll down the page (bottom right) and you’ll see the contact form in there.
Thanks
