Hi, very nice theme and looking into buying. Just wondered if the slider on the current home page is included (the bits sliding in one at the time). Also, are the PSDs included for customisation?

the theme’s 6 sliders come with a default image just showing the dimensions, and also I have provided some sample text with corresponding markup to get you started. I have also provided PSD templates for all 6 sliders for your convenience to help you create your slides quickly and with the right dimensions. There’s extensive documentation and support forum to help you out with setting up the theme.

I have included instructions with the theme on how to use the included (*.pot) file.
Generally, you don’t need two instances of the same website for English and French, just one and you translate it with the help of plugins. Two that work with the theme are qTranslate and WPML .

Can you change the header background for individual pages?
Hi,
by default you can set it up for all pages that are not “Home page”.
If you would like to have a diff. background for specific pages then you’ll have to do it manually, WP provides unique classes that you can use to load specific to page css declarations.

I’m thinking about purchasing this theme, but have a few questions first.
1. Is there a way to get rid of the + signs in the navigation bar?
2. Is there an option to require a click before the screens slide or to eliminate the slide feature? I love having the option, but I don’t want to commit to using it just yet.

1 ) You can disable the ”+” from the backend under theme’s “General Options -> Top Menu Auto Arrows”

if you’re talking about Cycle 3 (the default slider in the demo), I can help you make it so that if you only have one image it will just stay still, it will not rotate. But as soon as you add more images it will start to rotate, would that work.

I’m interested in this theme. I have some questions on the home page.
In your home page example 3 and 7, - how many posts can be put in those block style on the home page? - Is it limited to only 1 category? - What will happen if the posts are from different categories? Will they be put into different rows with different categories title?
I hope you understand what I mean. I want to use this theme for amazon associate.
- Oh! For a regular license can I use it on many domains? I’m going to modified it and use it by me only. Can I do that with regular license?

the Regular License is only good for one domain, so you will need to purchase a new license if you use the theme on a new client with new domain.
Regarding your other question, on Home page layout 3 and 7 those columns are not pulled from Categories, they are just plain text with images, but if you would like to pull content from post, you can use my widget “U-Design: Recent Posts” widget which you can have unlimited instances of and it allows you to offset the posts you show from a categories so that you don’t repeat the same post all the time. I have also created a non-widget version of the U-Design: Recent Posts” which you can insert anywhere in the content of the site by using a shortcode, more here:

Just purchased this theme and I am trying to update the slider (just playing right now) and I keep getting the following error “There was a problem uploading the file! Check permissions.” Check the server permissions and they are 755. What am I missing here?

I am interested in downloading this theme, but was wondering if it is possible to do a static image on the homepage where the slider is?
Hi,
yes you can, Cycle 1 slider will do a static image if it’s only one and starts to rotate them if there are more than one images.
Cycle 3, will do it as well, but I have to tell you to tweak one line of code for that.

Hi there, cracking theme for starters, before buying can I ask a couple of questions?
1 – Can I literally change all colours, add image backgrounds to 4 different page sections on every page?
2 – Can I reuse home page styles for other site pages? For example I want a page called services, could I have for example homepage 2 for the default homepage & homepage 4 for the services page?
3 – Is the login form used for client area or secured area or is this a WP login form. Is it a widget so I could place elsewhere on the site?

1 ) Yes, you can change the colours for all sections of the site. But if you choose one color for the top area or for example for the footer are, it will be that colour across all pages.
2 ) Sure, the 7 Home page examples are not page templates, but rather HTML code with shortcodes that you can paste on any page.
3 ) The Login is a widget for the regular WP login, and being a widget you can place it anywhere a widget can go.

I’m not sure I understand your question, but all you have to do it install the theme and activate it, you can only have one theme active at a time in WordPress.

not by default, the theme is not built to have another image above the slider, it would look too busy, the top area is designated for menu, logo, search and phone number, but if you really want to you can replace all of the above with an image by modifying the ‘header.php’.
