I uploaded the folder “ultimate_hosting” into /billing/templates/ , and then in the admin area under Settings I picked “Ultimate Hosting” as the template and saved it, also cleared the template cache.

But when I go back to the client view in /billing/ , it has not changed from the default template. Documentation does not explain how to make this work, only that you need to use a bullet-ed list for some of the features.

PS: Using WHMCS version 5.2.4

Hi, You see – you need to rename ultimate_hosting folder to something without _ something like ultimatehosting for example. I’m sorry for not mentioning that in manual, but when I was uploading that template it wasn’t an issue, but after update from 5.1.x whmcs that became an issue. I hope it will sort the other problem you were mentioned .

Thank you for your response, that does make the theme show up.

However I am not at all impressed with the degree of hard-coded content inside of the templates themselves, such as requiring to open up header.tpl and inserting an image tag yourself, or changing out the international phone number that’s also hard-coded into the template. I would have expected the WHMCS template to be more like other templates out there, pulling the common fields that are set in the template such as logo location, and company name, and phone number which is available to the templates already rather than editing out the hard coded portions.

I’ve already purchased another WHMCS template elsewhere.

You completely right – I’m working in my spare time on small update as recent WHMCS update to version 5.2.4 or higher forcing us developers to take a little bit more care about some elements. Your suggestion for a phone number and logo is great. I will implement it.

Also, this template goes crazy when an SSL Certificate is used. WHat should I do to fix that?

You can make sure jquery library is on your server and linked there instead from external server

I have to disagree with you – 230 buyers didn’t have that many problems. If you don’t know basics of web development why do you doing it ? About the refund – you bought this template of Themeforest and when they were taking this template WITH MANUAL they decided that is good enough to meet their high standards. Talk to them.

Hi, To be honest i din’t have time to upgrade my testing whmcs installation, however this template doesn’t rely on many whmcs features as this is only client area – bit of html changes and obviously css. Thanks.

Am i supposed to get a “orderforms/ultimate_hosting” folder with files to copy to my whmcs/templates/ as well, not just the “ultimate_hosting” folder to copy to same server path. And then I should be able to select both the default (client area) template in WHMCS General Settings -> General tab, as well as the default (order form) template in WHMCS General Settings -> Ordering tab.

Im not sure if i have this tight but is the cart template part of this package because i dont see it.

Last question. I love the theme, howver, how do i remove the hardcoded contact number

I think you modified link to jquery library putting something like: <script src=”js/google.js” type=”text/javascript”></script>

instead use that:

<script src=”http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.1/jquery.min.js” type=”text/javascript”></script>

What the heck is wrong with this. I buy a template, because i dont want to have to do all this work myself, instead i get this that dose not even work? the slideshow is not even showing up on my page. need some kind of help here what is wrong with this?

I need to know where to upload the to_server folder to, and where to upload the rest of the stuff,,, I bought a template because i did not want to have to set all this up. my web site is not displaying any of the stuff like in the live demo, there is no slideshow, and nothing else…. need some assistance here or a refund,......

Upload it to the main folder where you would keep your index files – I think is in he manual.

Are you going to upgrade this to bootstrap 3? I was minorly disappointed to find this on 2 still.

I could have sworn it was WMS the first time I talked to them, but when I called to set it up the second time, the 2nd representative I talked to must have been knew because he told me something different. I told them I would call back when then other rep was working and talk to him. So that will be today and I will let you know for sure.
