Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/compiac/www/www/wp-content/themes/dt-unicorn/plugins/options-framework/admin/options-functions.php on line 111
is this normal???
Regard
Hi,
No, not quite normal. This is caused by Google Font library. Please, submit a request via our online help-desk http://support.dream-theme.com – our staff will help you getting rid of this error.
Hi, After fresh install and importing dummy.xml , i could see all the dummy content posts but no sidebar and footer. Any idea ?
Hi,
I’m afraid this is normal: unfortunately information about widgetized areas cannot be imported/exported that way.
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/98/6445998/html/MYWEBSITE/wp-content/themes/dt-unicorn/plugins/options-framework/admin/options-functions.php on line 111
i am NOT able to open a new ticket on dream-theme.com the Captcha Text image NOT working.
Please Email me the FIX.
Hi,
Most probably you are using older version of theme. This issue was fixed some time ago. Please, install newest version of theme . Thanks!
okay, all good now, after fresh install fix the problem.
btw, Wordpress dosnot let install the theme because the file is too big. the solution i use: i unzip the theme file, then compress it again without the “images” folder. i install it, then i upload the “images” folder via FTP.
thank you!
Hi, Thanks for comment!
I’d like to highlight one thing: every hosting has a different restriction on upload file size. This means that on some hostings theme can be installed via standard interface; and on some – manually via FTP. This is not a quality characteristics of hosting (it’s not bad or good), but rather its specific.
Hi dream theme
great work love the theme. i have a slight issue im trying to put a jpeg image in the widget (right hand side) but it displays the image in a very small size. can you advise
Hi,
Can you be more specific, what widget exactly are we talking about? If it’s “text with photo”, that easiest way is to use standard “text” widget (you can simply put any image you like there).
Problem getting this error on the front page: Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), called in /home/content/82/4770682/html/2013redesign/wp-content/themes/tanology/functions/core/core-filters.php on line 8 and defined in /home/content/82/4770682/html/2013redesign/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 990
please help! Already submitted a ticket
Before I purchase this theme, which looks good – how can we integrate a Pin It button well to all gallery and portfolio images?
Hi, yes this feature is available and is enabled on theme demo. Please check if you like how it works.
Hi there Dream Theme! A great theme you have created! When will you update to WP 3.5?
Hi, it’s just being released
Hi Dream Theme , i love your themes. Just one problem, i upgraded to WP 3.5 and am getting the following error.
Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), called in /home/Mysite/public_html/wp-content/themes/dt-unicorn/functions/core/core-filters.php on line 8 and defined in /home/teambuil/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 990
What should i do?
Hi,
It appeared that final release of WP 3.5 is a bit different from RC that we used to test theme compatibility. We are going to submit an update within hour or two. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
Hi, I have two presale questions:
Is the height of the sliders customizable? (full screen sliders apart…). I am a photographer and I want to show my images with the real proportions (3:2)
Could I increase the gap between the two green little arrows? I tested them on my iPad, and it is not so easy to tap on one of them with a medium size male finger without tapping the other one
Hi,
Slider height cannot be changed.
Portfolio and galleries page templates SUPPORTS arbitrary image height.
You’ll need a professional developer assistance to change the space between arrows.
Btw, you can take a look at our Nimble theme – arrows are not overlaping there
http://themeforest.net/item/nimble-multipurpose-retina-ready-wordpress-theme/3009347
Along with TwailerChelal I’m also getting these two;
/wp-content/themes/dt-unicorn/functions/core/core-functions.php on line 81
and
/wp-content/themes/dt-unicorn/functions/core/core-functions.php on line 102
so far

Hello, i have a big modification to do, i need to put the logo in the middle, and the nav below the menu, and for that i need to delete the black over effect on the menu item that take all the height and don’t let place for the logo. Generally i find myself how to change this type of things in the css, but this time i’m lost. i know how to move the elements, but i don’t find how i can delete this over effect. Can you help me please
Hi,
This customization can be done in CSS . If you are familiar with it, you can use FireBug (FireFox plugin for web-developers) or Chrome web developers tools to define which style should be changed and where. Here’s an awesome screencast by WooThemes on how to use it: http://vimeo.com/20917974 Please don’t forget about ”!important” statement to overwrite cascading rules.
Otherwise you can consider hiring a freelancer to help you.
If you’re a plugin/theme author, please read: http://make.wordpress.org/core/2012/12/12/php-warning-missing-argument-2-for-wpdb-prepare/.
Sorry but your comment is a bit offensive.
1. Yes, we are authors – not resellers or moneymakers.
2. We aware of issue and it is already solved in v.1.0.1
sorry, i didnt know u already fix it. and btw i didnt mean to offensive but to help.
thank you.
It’s OK. Sorry for misunderstanding. Peace
Is it possible to change the aspect ratio or dimensions of the slideshow for the homepage? I’m using this for wedding photography and not all images look good with the default aspect ratio (960×430).
Hi,
It can be done. But requires considerable amount of customization which is, unfortunately, far beyond the scope of theme support
Please consider hiring a freelancer to help with it.
I have a problem with theme after update Wordpress to 3.5. Look at this pls: http://www.monca.sk/sklad/problem.jpg and http://www.monca.sk/sklad/problem-index.jpg
Hi,
Theme was updated to v.1.0.1. It if 100% compatible with WP.3.5 Please update
Hello, i think you forget my question because if all the others questions after.
Hey,
Your question is already answered…
Hi, i know how to use CSS, but here i don’t find even where are the css file, and i put a plugin custom css, but it don’t work
I have change this 2 rules, to have a larger header, and the hover black effect only 10px:
ul#nav li a.dt-depth-1 { }
header {
background-color: #FFFFFF; background-image: none; background-position: center bottom !important; background-repeat: repeat-x; height: 150px !important; }
but in custom css nothing works, and in firebug, the file adress is http://localhost/unicorn (i’m testing in local) and if i copy the declaration and make a search in the theme’s files i found nothing!
So i would like to resolve all that by myself, but if i can’t can we hire you to make this changes and how much it costs
Hi,
Unfortunately we are not providing any customization services: payed or free. But if you will publish your site with all your customization – I can take a look at it and tell you what is wrong. Thanks!
Can you put UPDATES HISTORY ? ^^“
Because I worked to modify some CSS files .

This theme is truly a Dream Theme
It has everything that anyone could ever need!
I do have one major concern, though… After a couple of days put into developing this theme, as a photographer, the slideshow aspect ratio is a serious limitation… I either need 2×3 aspect ratio or the ability to set my own dimensions for the slideshow. Even a simple slideshow with just fades will do (without the effects) – I just want to showcase images in a clean way on the homepage.
Are you planning on slideshow upgrades?
Also, is there a way that i can jsut use a simple jquery slider that i like for the homepage and have it not break the responsive elements of the homepage?
edit: Can I purchase the Nivo slider plugin and create an alternate homepage with my own Nivo Slider? http://nivo.dev7studios.com/features/#wordpress
Hi,
Theme will not accept any plugins to replace standard homepage slider. Though you can use them on regular pages (you may need some customization to fit it 100% well).
Can I ask you a question: Why don’t you want to use a fullscreen slider build into theme? I thought it is perfect for photographers… Please give me more details, so we can improve it. Thanks!
Good questions
- So, I did try to use other sliders in the theme… I purchased Nivo Slider and set it up on a basic page… there are performance issues and responsive design issues (http://v2.fiaforever.com/option-3/) – I also tried CuteSlider WP and it appears that there are some conflicts with theme scripts (http://v2.fiaforever.com/cuteslider/) – any help you can provide here?
- Thanks for your willingness to improve the theme… As a photographer, especially a wedding photographer, we want to make sure that our images are portrayed in just the right light based on our brand… we want clean and simple – and MOST importantly, we want to control how the images are displayed. When you go full screen, you loose that control depending on the screen size and dimensions, you may or may not see the full image as its intended. For commercial photographers or landscape photographers, it “may” be ok… but for wedding photographers, if I put up a shot of the ceremony with a large tree in the background, there is a possibility that you may not see the ceremony and only a tree. Huge limitation. Photographers will always need a 2:3 slideshow and will skip on the default slideshow, which has its purpose for most other applications
Hope this helps!
Let me tell you, other than this slideshow thing, this theme is probably the best one ive used on themeforest. Kudos for that!
Update – I have purchased and placed Cute Slider WP on this page: http://v2.fiaforever.com/cuteslider/
It’s not perfect and there are some bugs… the developer of cute slider had to to some work to get it to even show some images… This needs a lot of fine tuning. wish other slideshows would “just work”.
I would much rather use the gorgeous built in slideshow if we could change dimensions… and with a choice of a “simple fade” transition.
Hi, Thank you so much for your kind words and positive feedback!
I’m still not getting what is wrong with “Fullscreen slideshow” :
1) It can be set to fixed height (so it will become not fullscreen)
2) it can be configured to display photos proportionally without cropping portrait photos. Also I can help tweaking it not to crop landscape photos (to display 2:3 slides perfectly)...
I’m still not getting what is wrong with “Fullscreen slideshow” : 1) It can be set to fixed height (so it will become not fullscreen) Raheel: Yes, i can fix the height, but the width is still expanded horizontally, thereby changing the aspect ratio and visible area of the image (http://v2.fiaforever.com/standard-theme-2/) 2) it can be configured to display photos proportionally without cropping portrait photos. Also I can help tweaking it not to crop landscape photos (to display 2:3 slides perfectly)... Raheel: Yes, I would love to get your help in achieving this – THIS WOULD BE PERFECT
Next steps?
Hi,
Then please, submit a request via our online help-desk http://support.dream-theme.com . Specify somewhere in ticket that this request is for Miroslav, so our support staff will redirect it to me (if you do not mind, I’ll need your FTP accesses). Thanks!
Just created a ticket! Thanks so much!
Hi,
Our staff was a bit quicker than me and changed slider width by herself
Check please. Thanks!
BTW: I’ve noticed significant lags in your server response time. Also big photos in slider were loading REALLY slow today. Maybe you should contact your hosting company support about it…
