field name : Image

key : image path like www.domain.com/wp-content/themes/themename/images/image.jpg

Hi There

Thankyou for the theme, I purchased this theme last week and I’m having problems with the footer menu. Basically everytime I create a footer menu, it overwrites my main menu (left menu). I have tried several times, deleting and recreating menu items (in WP 3 .0.1). Are you able to advise how I can fix/ resolve?

One question:

How do I specify the “Blog” page template to only pull posts from the category “blog?”

Right now it is pulling posts from every category (blog, gallery, etc.)

1. Create a category called Blog and add few posts in.

2. Create a Blog page and assign the category from which you want pull the posts, here you need to assign Blog category. you will notice dropdown box at the right side.

Is there a way to edit where the thumbnail image is cropped on certain pics in the gallery page? Sometimes the timthumb script creates thumbs i’d like to change. Thanks!

you can open template_gallery.php and find the code like this in few places where you can make changes the sizes of the thumbnail image.

The theme looks great and that’s wy I decided to get it, but I need your help in relation to 2 problems:

1. The headers font does not whos any ÁáÉéÍíÓóÚu, or Ññ symbols, which I need, for this is for a Spanish company. How can I replace the headers font for a similar one with Spanish symbols? Or if there’s a better option, this would be welcome too.

2. I need to create tables with files and columns. What’s the easiest way?

1. You need to change the font because the existing font do not support the characters you mentioned. you can generate new font js file and add it in header.php

please use this link to generate the js file. http://cufon.shoqolate.com/generate/

To generate the font follow the instruction bellow:

a. Find out the which font do support the letters you mentioned b. go to this http://cufon.shoqolate.com/generate/ and follow the instruction there and get the js file and place it in js folder in theme folder.

c. open header.php and remove the existing js link and add new generated js file link.

2. you can use any table generated plugin, just google it find it out, I have not yet used them.

you need to create Dynamic pages for category listings.

Suppose you have create Portfolio category and added few posts in this, then Create a page called Portfolio and Assign the Portfolio category to Portfolio page from Pages Category panel which is located right side and just bellow the template panel.

hi. love the template. one problemo for me right now though.

i have several portfolio pieces with long text. on the home page it shows all of the text instead of just the excerpt as written on the post page. how can i get the home page to use the excerpt. also when i place a gallery on the a portfolio post, the quicklink code (or whatever that is called) also shows up on the home page.

you have done everything is correct except one thing. that is , you have not selected the “Blog” category while creating Blog page. and also you have not yet created any posts in the blog category.

I have created sample post in in blog category and selected the blog category for the blog page.

now the comments works.

hi ram,

sorry just one more thing, I tried to change the background for the website by replacing “background-image:url(images/bg-v.jpg)” in the css file. But it’s not working for the ‘white’ theme settings. It seems to work perfectly fine with default theme whereby it captures the new background but the alignment is all wrong after that.

Is there anything that i am doing wrong? please help.
