Will you be updating the the future to keep compat and uptodate – and is it any good for a tech blog and is it viewable on phones and tablets, plus can I set the homepage etc as a blog
We keep the theme working with each new release of WordPress. There have not been many updates needed but should any conflicts arise we will make the necessary changes.
I think the design is great for blogs. It might be the best use of typography and visual priority of information out of all our work. This lends the design to uses like blogging.
Will this work for Wordpress 3.4.2? And how do I upload it?
Yes, it works with the current version of WP.
Uploading is just like any other theme. You can use the admin feature in WP to upload the included ZIP file (the one inside the file you downloaded) or FTP the files to your WP install directly. Hello, I have a plugin installed called “Attention Grabber,” which is a header banner at the top of the site. However, on Unite theme, it won’t show up. Can the slider images on the home page be linked to pages or posts? I noticed in the demo the slides are not linked.

Yes, the home page can be setup without a slide show.
With the image shortcode you can change the size of any image. The theme will automatically create resized graphics for you in each area. If you want to change the dimensions of a graphic that is part of the design it can be done in the code.

When a user clicks on my ‘read more’ on my blog post excerpts, it takes them to a page which displays all of the blog post titles with a brief excerpt, rather than the full post of the entry they clicked on. It also has this text at the top:
Welcome to Unite, merging crisp design, powerful communication and ease of use.
Any idea on how to fix this? Here is the site I’m working on.

You’ll need the License ID rather than a purchase code/ID. You can find it in the “Downloads” area of your ThemeForest account. Click the “License” link next to the item. It will be inside that document.
