Noticed a couple of things on the template
1) After entering the Universal Business Options (Address and Phone Number) The bubbles appear in Firefox and Chrome, but not in IE.
2) The CSS Drop Down Menu doesnt seem to handle long page titles.
Can these be resolved?

I’ve added the following code within the header to resolve this:

chamberinternet, It only happens in IE8 and will work in “compatibility mode”
Any idea to why the CSS drop down menu’s doesn’t display the full page titles?
It seems to be cropping after a certain no of characters.
Is there a way to extend the width of this?

Hi, I’ve just downloaded this theme and I am also having trouble with the drop down menu at the top of the page, I’ve tried all the solutions posted in the comments here, and none of them have worked… The menu is just not showing up at all. If anybody has any other suggestions I would be appreciative. The URL is www.positiveequitynow.com.

you need to install a plugin called: “WP CSS Dropdown Menu”. Have you checked the documentation?

I tried to upload this theme and it appears to timeout. I get a message, “Are you sure you want to do this?” Please try again. I’m in Install Themes > upload > Install a theme in .zip format.
Try to upload using FTP .

You said to “Go to “Appearance” -> “Widgets” ”, but what am I supposed to do once I am in the Widget page?
I would also like to be advised on where to put the slider links.

Yes, I have thoroughly read the documentation.
My “Home page boxes” are correctly filled and, when needed, are linked to internal pages.
I have also fixed the menu to have it properly work with the new “dropdown menu plugin” version.
The template is fully set up (I have also used the contact form layout you made available for download)
Anyway I can’t find where to set the homepage slide show so to have a fade effect.
In the Home Bars there is no way to set anything but the picture to be used and there is no reference to the word “fade” in the provided documentation.
I have Wordpress 3.01 but I have also tested with version 3.0.0 with the same results.
Would you please advise?

I have managed a workaround by changing a few things of the provided template:- added jquery cycle
- modified header main
- slightly modified css
- added a new javascript to invoke the jquery cycle.
- changed the functions.php file to properly import the new javascripts

I think there is some problem with the template version available for download. Uncompressing the file downloaded from themeforest, I have re-downloaded it a few minutes ago, I have several folders one of which is the WP folder. The WP folder creation date is August 10th.
This folder contains only one files named as follows:
universal-business_WP2.zip
The file creation date is March 26
rw-r-r—@ 1 alessandro staff 2146474 Mar 26 17:09 universal-business_WP2.zipIs it the file I should expect to find in the WP folder?

I used godaddy’s ftp and got the file up. Under the theme directory, I unpacked the zip file. I had to move all the contents under directory WP up to the parent directory for wp-admin to reconignize the template without giving back errors. It was saying there was no CSS file. I am trying not to setp though the steps in the configuration part of the install doc. When I activate home box 1 your default picture goes to the left of the form, where the company logo is to be and the pixel heigth and width is much smaller. I would like to increase the image size in Home Box1,2,3 to 316×250. Where can I make that change?
Second question: Can I change the bar on Home Box1.2.3 to blue rather than the standard green, gold and gray. Tks
Tried to setup HeaderCompany& Motto via Widget Home Box. My bmp image will not load and on the page your picture_flowers_homebox image is small in height however the width appears fine. There is a message below the image saying “reinstall version 2.3.7”. If I delete HeaderCompany&Motto it all goes away. There are two alpha characters to the left of the menu bar- (P & c) The menu options do not display and I have the plugin WP CSS Dropdown Menu. bleusolar.com Tks for responding.

Can I ask what files a necessary in the upgrade to make the theme 3.0 compatible? I’ve done a fair bit of customization to some of the page templates etc. and don’t want to overwrite anything if I can avoid it.
