I am having a problem with the Homepage Box Section titles. I enter titles I want (About, Undergraduate, Masters) but these titles are not replacing the original titles (Experienced, Progressive, Worldwide).

If you click on the contact page in the top menu I get an error message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in C:\inetpub\vhosts\gau.edu.tr\subdomains\psychology\httpdocs\wp-content\themes\universe\contact-form.php on line 34

I have everything set up as I should do (selecting ‘contact’ as my contact page in Universe options, and selecting the contact template.

Any idea what is happening here?

Hi,

OK – mostly working now! However, if I put an image in place of the existing map image, the address and other text comes up to the right of the picture and not below it (like the ‘left’ setting for an image in Wordpress)

And one more important question -

If you click on the rotating blog post on the right panel here:

http://psychology.gau.edu.tr

You can see that the blog post comes up with a distorted ‘landscape’ image. How do I get rid of that?

You get the same thing in the footer panel.

Adding an image to the ‘portfolio’ image option doesn’t work – it results in a distortion. (Although the image didn’t go directly into http://localhost/universe/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/ – it went into http://localhost/universe/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/)

First off the theme is excellent! Thanks for the good work. One quick question – which I assume has a relatively simple answer:

When I create child pages with longer titles the drop down from the main navigation does not allow for an extended amount of characters. I’m guessing there is a quick CSS fix I can do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have one more question that i am hoping you can answer for me. I understand if this is outside of your realm to answer but would appreciate it if you can.

Question:

I am a big fan of the product overview page but is their a way that i can link the “Detail Information” button of a product from the list to a URL other than the individual product page that it automatically creates?

Any word on my last question:

“The problem that I am having is that the drop down from the main navigation does not stretch width wise when there is a longer title of a child page.

For example: On the live demo of this theme there is a drop down for “Services”. There are several items in the drop down (which are the titles of the services child pages). In the demo some of these include “Business Solutions”, “Branding/Identity”, etc.. Now if I have titles that are longer, how can I get the drop down to stretch?”

Hi there,

My client purchased this theme and I’ve been hired to build the site. First, let me say I LOVE this theme. I love the custom content types. I haven’t had any issues with it. I’ve had to make minor tweaks to the php files since the server doesn’t support timthumb, but nothing else.

I was curious about any shortcodes in the theme. You left that portion out of the documentation. Specifically, I was wondering if there was a shortcode for the buttons you are using.

Thanks for a great theme !! (even though I corrected a lot of the already mentioned bugs myself…)

Therefor I am sorry to say, I’m also finding that the sidebar disappear on sub-subpages. I have looked into the sidebar.php, but can’t figure our a line to match:

if (!function_exists(‘dynamic_sidebar’) || !dynamic_sidebar(”$pagetitle”)):

so it would be something like:

if (!function_exists(‘dynamic_sidebar’) || !dynamic_sidebar(”$subpagetitle”)):

What would you recommend?
