It looks great ! is there an option to change the color of the slider font “top caption” I intend to use bright colors on the slider, that white wont looks great with dark bgs, not o sure with colored photos?

Just purchased. Installed successfully BUT Highly confused with the slideshow, please help. I am not a views expert nor a coder. I just wanted to install and build the site.

There’s no content type for the slideshow, Ok so if I create one, how do I make the association between the content type and it’s fields with the current slideshow view provided?, specially the text on the slideshow.

Would have been much easier to just provide the content type and it’s view together working so we could just insert our content. It may be a simple thing I am over looking, but right now I am stalled.

So, I was reading the documentation, and the documentation is for pepps who install the theme without the installation profile, hence my confusion.

The Slideshow content type is ARTICLE.

The structure is very messy. Everything is made with the “Article” content type!!!

You should use blocks and not use views for everything.

Love the theme. Different organization system, a little getting used to.

Was switching around blocks, adding and removing and now the footer blocks seem to be not functioning correctly, the contextual links trgger for the block is stuck in my “OUR CONTACT” block and causing the fonts to be different than the original theme fonts.

Also, the edit options of the site’s content (pages or blocks) are not accessible when I am directly on them, I have to go to the content area and find the page I want to edit, or go to the bllocks area and look for the block I want to edit as well. There’s no “edit view” or “configure block” available when I hover.

I just installed this using the universefolio_kickstart.zip and the universelfolio_database.mysql.zip files. All seems to be up and running, but your documentation fails to give the username and password of the account associated with the user in universelfolio_database.mysql. Have I overlooked it, or is this something you have to private message?

Never mind. I saw in your SQL that you are not importing the actual user, just the roles and the url_alias. So my original login does indeed work.

A couple installation questions:

As this is a “files” folder, should it not go in /your_site_folder_name/(PUT HERE)?

Also, it would appear that the Devel module is improperly installed/located within the modules directory. Shouldn’t it be in it’s own folder?

Also, I’m trying to install using “alternate installation”, since the main kickstart installation seems to be a full, fresh Drupal install? I’m trying to integrate this theme into an existing drupal installation. I’m getting stuck at this line: “Then import your respective database with given file.universefolio_database.mysql.zip”. What do I do with this sql file? Where do I put it, and how do I run it?

Ok last post for the day (sorry, edit button seems broken on this site): I figured out how to populate the database I created using the sql file—I think just one last step: how do I link the database I created to the theme?

OK, I figured out that I run the script on my existing database. Just about there, ne last problem: there seems to be something weird/broken with ctools. First it’s oddly missing from the modules list included in package. I already have it installed. After I run database script, try to login to access site admin area (www.mysite/?q=user), I get a Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ’.../public_html/.../profiles/acquia/modules/ctools/ctools_access_ruleset/plugins/export_ui/ctools_access_ruleset_ui.class.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /.../public_html/.../includes/bootstrap.inc on line 3119. I can’t get past this.

I do not want to overwrite my existing Drupal setup files or create a new database. I believe this is what the “kick start” method does. I have a lot of already installed modules and information in my database. So, I have copied over all files from your sites directory into my installation, performed step 2 (sql update on my database), but now I get the ctools error. If you could answer the following:

- Where is ctools supposed to be located? It’s not in your modules directory. I already have it installed in the sites/all/modules directory. - Can Devel be moved into it’s own folder (where it belongs)?

I now see: acquia drupal has a different file structure than standard drupal (ctools is one of the things that’s been moved).

I think I managed to merge the databases. May I suggest a documentation update (assuming the following is correct):

Alternate Installation for existing drupal users (existing database)

universal.zip file, extract this file and put it fllowing direction, /your_site_folder_name/sites/all/themes/(PUT HERE). * folder name match with zip file name

modules.zip file, extract this file and put it fllowing direction, /your_site_folder_name/sites/all/modules/(PUT HERE). * folder name match with zip file name

libraries.zip file, extract this file and put it fllowing direction, /your_site_folder_name/sites/all/libraries/(PUT HERE). * folder name match with zip file name

Backup current database to a SQL file. Delete database Recreate database (same name) run www.yoursite.com/install.php follow dialogs, input (freshly emptied) database info, user name access complete installation import your SQL backup into database import file.universefolio_database.mysql.zip into database.

Why are the full width images pixelated and blurry? On the demo your pictures are crisp and clean. When I replace the images in your file, they get blurry and pixelly.

No link available this is on a localhost. For some reason the theme only displays the smallest photo everytime. I have 3 image sizes, and it will only display the smallest resolution. If I only upload the large image, it will display nothing.
