thank you very much! one more question – on my site i’m using cyrillics and i changed fonts trhough Font Settings menu. with body font everithing is good, but heading fonts stay unchanged.(only cyrillics, latin is good) P.S> image preview while uploading still not available, even after changing server permission from 750 to 757

you’re probably using a font which doesn’t support Cyrillic characters. You would need to choose another font which support Cyrillic characters, OR use the CUSTOM FONT option.

Hi, I have a few remarks I noticed:
Latestnews: I got and error that the latestnewstable did not exist.
Then added news but it was not saved. (but it did remove the table does not exist error). Tried it 5 times and every time it was not saved. Turned out that I had to fill in the Englisch tab aswell (I have two languages). And the englisch content is required. But there was no error message that I had to fill in the english tab!
Al the backend universum pages have as page title: Universum Latest News With the html code!
Also saw the filemanager error. Can you tell me what file I need to update so I don’t have to do a complete upgrade?

If the english language is set as default language it’s required to be filled. I’ll check why the notification is not working. It works for me, but I’ll install another language to test it.
The missing database table error could only exist if you try to open the News page without the module installed and saved, which is obviously normal.
The html code is shown, because the title is colored. If you wish to remove it you would only need to edit the module language file.
For the filemanager you would only need to replace admin/controller/common/filemanager.php
However, if you’re using OC 1.5.5.1 there is a new update waiting for review with two more fixes – search page and sitemap link. It should be available in 1-2 hours.
For this update you would need to replace the following files:
catalog/controller/common/header.php catalog/controller/product/search.php
If you’re using the 1.5.4.1 you don’t need to update anything.

I did have the news module inistalled when the error occured!
Html code should be removed from the theme (all your the module titles). This way if I remove it it gets overwritten by every update.
I updated the filemanager!

As for the HTML, you don’t need to update the language files, so you could do it once only. I would leave it as is, because for most of the users it’s more convenient to have the custom modules titles colored and more visible.

I know exactly what you are talking about. As I said you could simply edit the language files if it is a serious problem for you. I would not change the theme files for now as it is more convenient to most of the users.

On the registration page the terms and conditions link opens in the same window… I just filled the complete registration form and cllicked on the terms&conditions and all my work (filling the reg form) was gone…
Should open as a popup preferably or else in a seperate window I think.

I am not sure what do you mean? The theme is fully responsive and works perfect on phones and tablets.
The banners works just like every other banner module. You would need to create banner set in System>Design>Banners and then apply this set in an instance of the banner module with position in header.

I am afraid what you need is not possible with OpenCart. It’s not like WP where you can import everything with a single click. The installation process is simple – just drarg 3 folders to your installation directory. For everything else there is a dosumentation with recommended settings.
About the update: What am I supposed to do? I see there is a different file structure in the admin common folder (and maybe in others as well). Do I have to delete the old folders and copy the new theme files to the root of my installation folder or should I only upload certain files?

there is no difference! There are only small changes in already existing files.
The easiest way to update is just to drag the 3 folders to your installation folder again.
Alternatively, if you already made some changes to the tpl or css files and you don’t want to loose the changes, you could simply upload the changed files to their respective folders – that’s why I have them listed with full path, not only filename.

1. No, it can’t show the actual value of savings and only work with percentages.
2. There are two types of menus – the mega menu with images and the default opencart menu style without image. Check the demo here – http://universumtheme.com/universum3/
3. Yes. I’ll revert it to the custom design today. Facebook changed their API last week and made custom styled like boxes unavailable, se I had to switch back to their default design, but now that they reverted it back, I am going to make it custom again.

no there are no videos, but the installation proces is pretty simple. There’s nothing to make wrong if you follow the instruction in theme documentaion.

It sounds like there is something wrong with your installation. Which files your vqmod modify?
I don’t think vqmod modified anything… I installed vqmod. edited the index.php files in frontend and admin (all worked fine front and backend) then installed your template. I now have a non functioning frontend. I am fairly new to OpenCart so excuse my ignorance… but is there a way to overwrite all files with a fresh install but keep the database? I have backed up my database and media/uploaded files etc.
You have edited index.php?? And why is that? It’s definitely a problem!
Yes, it is possible. Just reupload the original opencart files in admin and catalog folders and then re-upload the theme file.
Just make sure you don’t replace the config files. The safe procedure would be like this:
1. Go to your main installation directory 2. Open admin folder 3. Delete controller, language, model and view folders (make sure you don’t delete anything else) 4. Drag-and-drop the original opencart folders – controller, language, model and view to your server and make sure you ONLY upload those folders without the other original opencart files.
5. Do the same in catalog folder
6. Upload the theme files following the instructions from the theme documentation
That’s it.
And be careful – you must upload the files from the same OC version.
Oh… and upload the original index.php!!!

Well… may be you did something wrong then. It’s possible to break the whole site if you miss even a single comma. Revert your store to the default installation, apply the theme files and then try to install the vqmod manager again really carefully.
Also it’s always better to follow the instructions that came with the specific vqmod version and not instructions from a third-party web site.

Did you enabled the module? There is a drop-down enabled/disabled on the bottom of the module page.
Can you tell me how to remove the Specials from the (top) menu?
Yes, I can. Just disable the link from Univerum Theme options>General settings.

1. It’s possible, but some modifications would be required.
2. The default opencart menu gives you the opportunity to use as many columns as you wish for every single subcategory menu. It’s a built-in function in Admin>Catalog>Categories>Edit category>Data tab.
