I can’t really say because I don’t know how it’s made. If it’s a vqmod it would probably work without problems OR would need a minor adjustment.
However, if it replace files, that would be a problem for sure as both the tpl and the controller files for the product page are heavily modified.
This is what their documentation says… otes:
Before installing this mod, check if you installed other mods which possibly affect options because this mod could overwrite some files which have already been changed by other mods, which means that those mods probably won’t work any longer, so it’s important to backup your files before installing this mod.
For those who aren’t sure about this I made a list of those files which are modified for this mod to work, so you can check if this mod will overwrite files that have already been changed by other mods.
Other possibility is to manually integrate the changes I made. I made this possible by commenting the changes I made in version 1.5.4.X or 1.5.5.X, these changes are also applied for version 1.5.2.x and 1.5.3.x
Modified files are: - system/library/cart.php - admin/model/catalog/product.php - admin/controller/catalog/option.php - admin/controller/catalog/product.php - admin/view/template/catalog/option_form.tpl - admin/view/template/catalog/product_form.tpl - admin/language/english/catalog/option.php - catalog/controller/product/product.php - catalog/controller/checkout/cart.php - catalog/model/catalog/product.php - catalog/model/checkout/order.php - catalog/view/theme/default/template/product/product.tpl
The comments start with(depends on the language it’s written in): // or <!—or /* followed by: Modified for option quantity================================================= ended by: //==================== or <!
-=======================-> or /=====================================/You can easily seach/find these changes and copy/paste them into your own code on the same place, this way you don’t need to overwrite your own files and nothing should happen to your other installed mods.
When using version 1.5.2.X or 1.5.3.X you can use the sources of version 1.5.4.X or 1.5.5.X to search/find the changes I made because these changes are exactly the same as in version 1.5.2.x and 1.5.3.x

Well… it looks like this would need to be manually integrated with the theme as there are 3 files that would be affected.

Sounds like a simple copy-paste operation for the commented code in those 3 files.
Hi, I have added the multiple option quantity mod to my site (following their instructions) and manually changed the 3 files you mentioned.
However after adding the option to one of my products I cannot see the newly created option.
It should have shirt sizes (small/medium/large/x Large/xx Large)

I have just noticed that I cannot add any products to the cart on my iphone
Just checked and adding to cart works fine for me on iPhone and Galaxy S3.
As for the extension – if the manual changes on the files were made correctly, it should work fine, as there are no changes at all in options system or the default quantity/add to cart button

Hello Amir,
that would depend on the specific FB Connect extension you’re using and how it’s made. The theme already have some facebook integrity preparation as it’s using FB comments and needs the FB meta info. It is possible that some features would need to be manually adjusted.
I am using the free version in OC Extension website. (http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&extension_id=10370&filter_search=FB%20Connect&filter_license=0). Just wondering if Universum has already something like that built in?

1. By SEO Url, does it to the url to www.ccc.com/product_name?
2. On http://universumtheme.com/universum3/index.php?route=information/LatestNews&LatestNews_id=2, when I scroll down, the social media share will follow suit till the bottom thus blocking the footer.

There is no FAQ module, but may be I’ll think about this (no promise though).
As for the share buttons – they are now fixed because of the facebook comments. Check the other demo. I need to update Demo Store 2 to the latest theme version.

No. Those images were used for demonstration only and NOT included in the download pack as it is clearly described in the theme description. If you like the images and want to use them – support their authors and buy them from photodune.net

Yes. I’m thinking about getting the theme. I have some issues with the image quality in the popup. I prefer the regular or prettyphoto or colorbox. Opencart resizes the images automatically as I have read and I’m not happy with my popup images right now, even though I uploaded good jpg’s. Do you have a demo with the colorbox popup instead of the cloudzoom on? Is there anything in your package that I can use for better quality images in the popup?

I think the only scenario where the images wouldn’t be good enough is if you’re using a retina display.
So my issues could be related to my current theme? See this picture after the popup. The purple stones are clear and shiny in the file that I uploaded. No, it’s not theme related and the system would always resize the images. However, your images look fine to me. It’s just two small image. You can’t expect 12×12px area to be very detailed. Send me an image and I’ll make a product for you to test.
I’ve sent you an image. It’s not my best but I noticed the resize with this one extremely. It is not to big (294KB) yet looks much better on my preview than on my website. OC shouldn’t be resizing such small images.

I am afraid not. You would need to adapt the CSS by yourself. I can’t do this because I don’t speak any RTL language so I wouldn’t even know if it looks right or not.
I myself speaks and write and understand a RTL language and before it i did it for one of opencart theme, if you want i can help you in case
also i know CSS3 and designing …. by the way i themed the admin area for myself, that’s different from the default admin … i also have some modified module

I resolved the image size issue. Only the footer which is too long is remaining
Hello marwan83, it looks like you didn’t enabled the twitter feed. Your options would be to enable it and it would fill the gap there OR modify one of the columns to be twice as wider.

yes, it replace core files as every advanced theme do. Regarding the upgrades – you would only need to wait few more days after new OC version is released before I release update to the theme for this particular theme. Yes, it works with vqmod. There is vqmod installed at the moment on the demo site.

When I make a filtered selection by brand and price range the extension works and then takes into consideration your themes price range and then i have the correct results + all products within the themes price range.
I tried removing the price range from the extensions and use only your but the result was the same as the above. Would be great to be able to disable it.
IS there anyway you can work me through blocking it in the code ?

No, I didn’t forgot. Still trying to find what in your layered navigation module could cause the problem as it doesn’t replace any of the files my theme does. It’s a very complicated module and I still can’t find the problem. I think finding what cause the problem would be easier and (smarter) than simply removing the ajax price filter the theme already have

Those are banners activated with position Header. Just check the theme admin demo and see how are things organized.

One last request. If you go to my environment http://dev.myfitness.my , you will notice that product (look at the Best Seller) have the image for Add to Cart, Wishlist and Compare as static and not sliding up. The sliding only works if I click any of the categories.

For what it’s worth, I think I am almost there sorting out my previous problem. What I did was;
1. Backup my Production DB and Folders 2. Restore the backup to my Development DB and Folders 3. Change config.php to point to dev DB 3. Upload Universum Theme. 4. Enable the theme in Admin.
Only thing left is to sort the sliding issue.

The theme comes with several custom language files. You would nood to copy and translate them in your new language folder. (catalog/language/english/Universum_custom/umiversum.php)

I am not sure what do you mean about support and how is that related to rgen’s theme.
The custom mega-menu supports 3 levels. The default opencart menu (demo 2) only supports 2 levels.
