Hi Koev
Fantastic addition with blog manager. I already have Qahars extension so I can add it in no problem. Will just get the lastest update that just came out. I will now make your template my choice to purchase since it is only theme that completes most of the items on my wishlist for a website. I do have some additional questions now that I have organized the info for my website as follows:
1. Would I have the ability to include pdf files somewhere on the information/news/blog pages that people could click on and download? Like using a banner hyperlink that would say “download order form here” and customer could click on button and download pdf form.
2. Would you be considering any future update that would include youtube or live video capability. We would like to have some instructional and promotional videos that we create available on our website. I know that there are modules available to do this. If you were not considering this as an new feature do you know if adding an existing module would conflict with any areas of your coding modifications?
3. Another feature that I have seen that I thought was unique was an extension that verified an addition to the shopping cart, wishlist and compare using a display box that did not scroll you up to the top of the page like the standard OC version of confirmation does. I find it can be annoying if you are near the bottom of a very long page and you click to add to compare or wish list etc and the site scrolls you back to the top of the page and then you have to scroll back down to where you left off to continuing viewing products. Is it possible to have a verification box display without moving the user from their current position and then fade away after 5-10 seconds and does not interfere with user’s browsing?
4. Would you ever consider the following? On larger websites like amazon etc when you view a product there is also section within same page space (usually to the right) that shows “people who bought this item also purchased this…”. I guess it’s sorted of like related items but it is different. It is a great cross selling addition. If you are not considering this, again would modules like this conflict with anything you have changed in coding?
5. I have never gotten this far into any template demos and I am not sure if any oc template does this but when a customer finalizes their purchase is there any way to send them an email confirmation along with copy of invoice thanking the customer or are customers required to go into their transaction history to print a copy themselves. I realize customers will get a pay pal receipt but there should be something from our website acknowledging the transaction when it happens. As well, when the item ships is there a process through opencart or your template that will send a email confirming product shipment if it is entered into the system?
Any assistance, recommendations or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I look forward to downloading your template this week and getting started.

1. You could put banners wherever you want. It’s like any other theme.
2. If there is enough demand I would probably think about videos. As for the third-party modules – I can’t tell because I don’t know how are they built and what they modify.
3. I am working on similar addition at the moment nad probably it would be included in next updates. However, I can’t give you any timeframe so far.
4. Yes, this would be included soon.
5. Yes, opencart have this feature by default.
Hallo. 1. Similar but not the same question as printix before: On my theme right now I have the description on the same page right next to or under my images. One doesn’t have to click a tab to read it. It that possible to do? 2. Did I understand it right that a wide slider like from the starting page can be shown on every category?

1. Yes, it is possible but some custom modifications would be required to the product.tpl file.
2. Of course – it’s like any other OpenCart module and could be used on any page, except News list and News item.
The links you sent doesn’t show my theme. This client is still using my theme on his development site and the one you’re looking at is his old theme. As for the help, I am overloaded till the end of this week with two other projects and just can’t take more custom work before next Monday.
Oh. I thought it looked a little different. The other one is my old one. I’s just nice to have the option to have the description on the same page, so it’s not just the item image, a price and an attribute. I’ll contact you next week maybe. Thanks anyway.

I have a question about your demo with all the options on. In the header slider there is a block with three items (“lifted”). Maybe I am overlooking it, but where can I set that banner according to your demo?

this is just a standard banner set with three banners activated in the custom header position. Check the theme admin demo to see how it’s done.

the responsive behavior could be switched ON/OFF from admin.
However, it’s clearly stated that the theme is responsive all the way down to 380px which is more than enough for iPhone LANDSCAPE. There are many tables in the OpenCart system by default which makes it 100% compatible with 320px resolution (iPhone PORTRAIT) impossible. So, in five words: There are no visual “bugs”.

So would that mean the same thing for the samsung galaxy s2 in portrait? Because I am getting many visual bugs as well. In terms of the blue skin example, everything on the right gets cut off about 50px in by the looks of it.
Yes, same goes to any phone in portrait mode. It’s just not optimized for portrait mode because the original system is using tables which can’t fit anyway, so optimizing for the smallest possible resolution is just pointless. The front page could be optimized but not all inner pages. Some othere theme just hide the problematic content which I thnink is not an option.
Also, if I were to put the category list on the homepage, would it be possible to have it automatically expanded with the sub categories showing?
Can the theme have little plus icons in the category module to expand and contract the sub categories?

one of the best opencart templates I’ve purchased to date. There is only one thing I’d love to see on it is a quick view pop up. Everytime I seem to install this module into any template it has issues!
Again great template, love the editor module though on my browsers (firefox and Chrome) it displays different to your demo and things like the color pickers don’t work…(maybe I didn’t upload a file properly?)
May be you would need to re-uplaod the theme files. The color pickers work just perfect on any browser I tested.
As for the quick view pop-up – it’s built with the default theme in mind which have a totally different structure. It can be integrated but some modifications would be required.

Yes, it can be fixed. It’s caused by the twitter script wrapping the ”@” sign in a span element. I am working on an update.

It’s using the store name set in System>Settings. And the word “welcome” is set in the welcome module language file.

this looks like some kind of version incompatibility. The theme is currently working on both OC versions (1.5.4.1 and 1.5.5.1) and no such problems. I really can’t say exactly what the problem could be, but it looks like there is something wrong in your OC installation.

1. The google map code is just the standard ebmed code provided by google. You would only need to put that code in the repsective field in Universum Theme Options module
2. It looks like your FB ID is not correct OR you’re trying to use it with a profile instead of page, which is not allowed for like box.
3. Hours of operation – this field could be found in Extensions>Modules>Universum Theme Options>Footer settings tab
4. PayPal Pro – I am afraid I can’t tell what could be wrong. These are built in features in OC and there are no theme related changes at all in this part of the system. You would need to ask in opencart.com forum or may be contact PayPal support directly. Probably you would need a PP Pro account in order to use this feature.
As for the product accordion – it works just the same way “Featured” module works. You would need to start typing product name in the autocomplete field and then set the module settings for the instance you want to display.

On every Google map, there is a link button on the left where you could simply copy and paste the code for the map you’re looking at the moment.
I tried that too. It just spit out the exact link that we put in.
It’s not a link – it must be and iframe HTML code provided by Google. You would need to use the “customize” feature – not the share link.

No, I didn’t added such feature because there is a fullscreen background module included with the theme, which could also work as a background slideshow if you wish. You just don’t need such an option with this module.

It supports every language. The theme is 100% localization ready. You would only need to install Turkish language pack and also translate the custom language files that comes with the theme and the custom modules.
